Especially with many family members, making a joint decision for a service at this emotional time is difficult and stressful. From our first contact with Morgan at Saskatoon Funeral Home to begin arrangements after the sudden death of our loved one to our family meeting with Bill to sketch out the various details to the kind communication, coaching and facilitation associated with the funeral - our family experienced the accompaniment, compassion, professional manner, and exceptional service of this family-focus funeral service. There is lots to navigate and process in the farewell and celebration of a loved one; you want to put yourself in the hands of kindness, experience and personalized service. Saskatoon Funeral Home employs an excellent staff who adapt and accommodate to family needs and pace. The facilities at Saskatoon Funeral home gave us the means to live stream and archive our restricted family memorial and archive the service for other to watch at a later time. The COVID pandemic circumstances where counterbalanced with helpful technology. The listening, servant hearts, calm demeanour and the afforded personal space to make decisions without any sense of pressure were joined by the able, hands-on and “you matter to us” approach of well-experienced professionals. We are highly appreciative of Morgan, Bill and staff of Saskatoon Funeral Home and commend them to others.

I had the worst thing happen to my family this weekend. My nephew died in a tragic accident. We contacted Morgan from Saskatoon Funeral Home on a saturday afternoon and he answered his phone. He was amazing from that moment. From helping explain the process going forward to keeping us updated where the body was (over a weekend). SFH did an amazing job preparing the body for viewing which was a huge healing factor for us all. My sister had some requests and Morgan attended to them in a very timely matter. He really went above and beyond. They are professional all the way. The caring he showed towards our family showed us what a genuine guy he is. He knew how hard this was on the family and he did whatever he could to take pain and pressure off of us. He was awesome in every step of the way.
