There are not many words to describe how amazing Jarron at Purple Orchid was during our wedding process. After many changes and lots of discussions my Husband and I decided to proceed with our 2020 wedding. Although we had to cut the number significantly Jarron somehow made us feel better about every decision and excited about the wedding we were planning. I went into every phone call anxious about the worlds impact on our wedding and left every call relieved and trusting of Jarron and his planning skills. On the day of Jarron absolutely killed it. My mother and I gave him pictures of what we wanted everything to look like and a bunch of rentals/supplies. I couldn’t have imagined the tables/decor better myself. He made sure my Husband and I were always taken care of (i.e had a drink, had something to eat, no one was bothering us etc.) He made sure everyone was respectable and socially distancing/wearing masks when needed. The timing of the whole event was remarkable, and I truly got to enjoy every single second. Jarron went above and beyond his duties of a day of coordinator. I don’t know how you could do a wedding without him to be honest. I’ll forever think back about this day with a smile and absolute gratitude for all he did for us.

The single best decision we made when planning our daughter's wedding was hiring The Purple Orchid. Kristina was an absolute delight and total professional to work with. She ran with every challenge we presented her, and there were many, and made 100% sure that our daughter had the perfect, beautiful wedding she had dreamed of. She gave new meaning to going above and beyond. Her attention to detail was remarkable..Her calm, cheerful, positive demeanor was contagious. On the day of the wedding we just knew everything would be flawless...and it was. We cannot thank her and her extraordinary team enough for all they did.

Simply the best!!! I would give 10 stars if I could!! We knew from our first call with Kristina that she was The One to help us coordinate our perfect wedding. She has a very calm and no-nonsense demeanor that cuts through all the wedding planning craziness and kept us focused on what needed doing. She was always available to problem solve or to come up with creative ideas for what we were working on. When the pandemic unexpectedly arrived a few weeks before our original wedding date she guided us effortlessly through no less than 3 postponements, navigating a large vendor team and three days of events to reschedule with ease, and then was with us through the repeated re-envisionings of our wedding as the rules and restrictions changed. We truly felt like we were in it together and that she was authentically invested in the success of our wedding. When we were finally - 3 YEARS (!) after booking her - able to go forward with our wedding, it couldn’t have gone better. Kristina (& her team) showed up with a detailed binder with step by step instructions and a timeline for our wedding weekend. Everything was set up perfectly, and she successfully navigated a minor wind storm for our guests at our welcome dinner. On our wedding day, Kristina was our #1 fan and also our first line of defense: she protected us to ensure that we never felt rushed but also that we did everything we wanted to do (like finish photos early so we could join cocktail hour). We were able to actually eat our wedding meal, and still get the photos we wanted and talk to all our guests. Our much-awaited weekend was literally perfect, all thanks to Kristina!!

Brian and I are still trying to find the right words to think you and your team for what was a fairytale wedding for us. From the moment I first talked to you I knew you were the planner I wanted to work with. You made everything so easy to plan and make last minute changes. The amount of compliments we received about YOU from Saturday night is incredible. You transformed the boring classic white wedding tent wedding into a colorful wildflower explosion party that was just ABOVE and BEYOND what I ever even knew was possible! It still baffles me all that planning we did with a million email and just paper discussions on a vision turned into that magical weekend. From taking control at the church rehearsal (still cracking up about that night and Fr. Ed) to the boat then riding around in golf carts when I probably should have been getting ready… oops.. you let my carefree spirit run free and I felt doted on hand and foot. “No” literally never came out of your mouth when I asked for an adjustment….or when I wanted to carry a bale of hay (still sorry about almost giving you..and my mother..and sister.. a heart attack). I remember asking you early on when you said what was the most important thing for me and I told you it was to have my parents stress free and enjoy the night. Im SO pleased that they not only enjoyed the night.. they too cannot believe the quality wedding you were able to put on. The number of “wows” and “stunning” and “best wedding we’re ever been to” comments are still coming in. EVEN your first aid skills were tested and THAT couples asked me the other night to personally thank you for being so kind and helpful with her bum toe.

Kristina is AMAZING! She guided us perfectly through the wedding planning process from the start. She was easy to communicate with by phone and email throughout the year, and made herself even more available to us in the weeks and days leading up to our wedding. Every vendor she recommended was amazing- the band, tent company, florist, photographer, videographer, and even the bathroom trailer! (All of these vendors also love and rave about Kristina, which says a lot, too!) I didn't have a super clear vision for my wedding from the start, but she did a phenomenal job of figuring out my style despite lots of vague responses from me to ultimately create a BEAUTIFUL wedding that was perfect for me and my husband. Generally, Kristina was a tireless supporter of our ideas, and the few times that she pushed us in a direction we didn't initially agree with, she was right. When we hit a couple of inevitable (small) bumps in the road, Kristina worked very quickly to sort things out, so that the problem was dealt with practically before it even started. My parents, in-laws, husband, and I are all so thrilled and grateful to have worked with Kristina. On top of her incredible skill, Kristina is lovely to interact with, kind, thoughtful, and funny, and she has a remarkable amount of emotional intelligence, managing many different personalities with ease. If you are considering hiring a wedding planner, I cannot recommend Kristina enough!

I think my laid back personality frightened Kristina at first as I'm a super procrastinator, but she helped make sure all tasks were complete before the wedding. They made sure my day went smoothly. Incredible team! We had an amazing experience with Nikki, Kristina and Jarron on the Purple Orchid Events team. Nikki was our main planner and she was absolutely fantastic! I knew we were in great hands. She was excellent at making sure all the t's were crossed and i's were dotted - making sure every little detail was ready to go and taken care of. We had our dream wedding and it could not have happened with out this team! Nikki was great at checking in with me as the wedding day got closer to answer any of my numerous questions and to help take care of the vendors as well. I left her all my notes and items that I wanted set up a certain way, and everything was executed beautifully! (even better than I could've hoped for). The day went so smoothly thanks to Nikki and Jarron - I can't thank them enough and would highly recommend Purple Orchid Events to any future bride. We booked them after my husband's sister used them - another fantastic wedding, which after attending, I knew I could trust this team with one of the most important days of our lives. Also, they are a delight to work with! They are very kind and very responsive. Thanks to Kristina and her team, we didn't have to worry about a thing during our wedding weekend! I had complete confidence in Kristina that she would execute our wedding vision, and be able to adapt on the fly (such as when we moved our cocktail hour inside due to the heat, and Kristina had to make arrangements with our florist to make some additional floral arrangements inside with the extra flowers she brought as well as coordinate with the band to use the piano inside the house instead of use the outdoor patio). Every last detail was taken care of, so I could focus on spending time with my friends and family and not whether the escort cards were set up! I also didn't have to worry about confirming vendor arrival times, or clean-up at the end of the night. Every part of having them on site the entire wedding weekend was perfect and such a good investment so we could focus on our guests and special moments together! Kristina also had great recommendations throughout the planning process for vendors who made our wedding weekend even more special!

We just celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary and decided to finally review Purple Orchid after much thought. Our wedding was beautiful and Kristina and Nicki were pleasant to work with but I was disappointed with their work. We had every detail printed out for them as an itinerary of work that needed to be done, but even on the first morning of set up, for which we paid extra for, we arrived and found none of the work started. I was told they were waiting for me to arrive to start working, which was added stress. Our biggest disappointment is that the team left so early from our reception. The only person left at the reception after I walked down the aisle was the assistant who spent the rest of the evening sitting in the storage room. Our disappointment was expressed to Kristina who agreed to refund us a small amount out of the thousands we spent, however she never actually sent the money. After the wedding I discussed my concerns with my bridesmaids who all agreed that they didn’t even know that we had a wedding planner because they never met her. We enjoyed the planning stages as the team assured us that all the details on our big day would be taken care of however it turned out to be a lot of reassurance with little action. Be aware that you may need someone to oversee the wedding planner on your big day. Very little for a lot of money.

I can't imagine my wedding day going smoothly without Jarron! I felt in good hands right after our first phone conversation and that's how I knew they would be a great fit for us.
