We hired Martine to photograph our wedding and we absolutely loved our wedding photos. I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer to capture our day! She was willing to come out to the middle of nowhere to capture our little fairytale wedding, and she did just that! I don’t think I’d be as happy with our photographs if they were from anyone else. She had also done our engagement photos and they turned out flawless as well. She did our maternity photos as well. I sure did not mind waiting on any photos when I received such beautiful photos. Beauty takes time and I would much rather her take her time and complete our photo package then rush through and receive suv par photographs, editing and making pictures to a certain style takes time and effort. We enjoyed her so much that we hired her to take family photos of us when we had our first child. Would absolutely hire her a million times over. I have photos from each session with her hanging on my wall and they will forever be timeless. We were so lucky to have gotten to meet her and have her capture so many special moments in our lives! <3

If all you care is what the photos look like and don't care about customer service she's the photographer for you. I'll start with the positive: her photos are beautiful and she is a very kind woman and when taking photos she was fun to work with. Now for the negatives: she is not a very good business woman. We drove an hour to meet her for the first time because we live out of town and she forgot we had a meeting so we had to wait around for her to show up after calling her to remind her. Any time we had questions it was impossible to contact her, she never answered texts, emails or facebook messages in a timely manner, it was always days or weeks later and after sending several message. In our contract she had 16 weeks to get us our photos; we did not get them within that time limit....we only received them 10 days after the contract limit.

If you're doing a destination wedding or you're in the dog show business, then she's the photographer for you. If your wedding is local, then I highly recommend that you find someone else. Your pictures will be put on the back burner as those two categories seem to be her first priority. It'll take the whole 16 weeks to get your pictures and you'll never get any previews. She is an amazing photographer, and I love my pictures, I"m just confused and upset that I had to wait the full amount of time to see my pictures when others were able to get previews a couple weeks later. She also took a long time to respond to me the first time I had asked a month after my wedding if I was going to see some sneak peeks. Two weeks later she finally got back to me and proceeded to tell me that I would get to see some that weekend. Needless to say, I never did get to see any. I understand life gets busy and people do need breaks but to tell a customer that they're going to see SOMETHING and then not get to, is extremely upsetting and frustrating. I am well aware of what the contract said, I just didn't know that that would extend to getting to see some previews as well. Usually photographers concentrate on the bride and groom, but I recieved a whole disk of my husband and his groomsmen. There was maybe 20 pictures in total of me and my bridesmaids. I also never received any previews of the engagement sessions she did for us.

We had a photo shoot with Martine in early September. She picked a beautiful location and was easy to work with. She asked our input several times to ensure that we would love our photos. The photos are stunning - next time I'm in Saskatoon I'll be calling Martine for more photos!

Martine was very rude throughout the day to multiple family members and our videographer. I had multiple people approach me in the weeks following our wedding with comments on how she treated them poorly. The worst incident was when she had left her camera bag on the ground in a field and told everyone not to touch it as she had a loose lens in the bag. My brother had not heard her saying this, and gently picked up the bag and brought it over to her and where we had moved. She lost it and yelled at him. It was very unprofessional and uncomfortable. She ruined the mood for everyone in that moment. Expect to wait, she took the full 16 weeks listed in the contract to get our photos back to us.

We just received our wedding photos. We do love them however there are some things I wasn't expecting. She doesn't apply a preset to all the photos, just some. I do know of some photographers that edit out background inconsistencies for clarity and that wasnt done in our photos either (in some of my favourite photos, from a side view my bra can be seen which really takes away from the quality and she was far away for our first kiss at the altar so even though the officiant stepped out, she was still very much in the photo). Martine at times was difficult to get ahold of and we were also surprised to wait the full 16 weeks. We were one of her first summer weddings in the second week of June and we actually received our photos 2 days after her 16 week deadline at the beginning of October because they still weren't done. If you aren't comfortable waiting four months for your wedding photos, I would suggest a different photographer.

This lady is very unprofessional. There is a reason her fb page has no reviews available... she deletes any negative truth instantly. She was the photographer at my sister-in-laws wedding, right from the start it was a mess. She missed our getting ready photos (even though she was supposed to be there it was in the contract). We ended up staging them and the ceremony got pushed a bit later. After the ceremony while we were trying to do family pictures she had to stop, because she was “too cold” we all were but were pushing through for the pictures. Then we were taken 45 mins away for pictures, even though the property was gorgeous and pictures could’ve easily been done there as they wanted a western look. This stunt pushed the supper TWO HOURS LATER then it should’ve been. Guests were very upset to eat two hours later then supposed to as well as the wedding party. Once we got back from the pictures it was already getting dark. She wanted to finish sunsets after supper. Well the sun was already going down, so we would’ve missed it and it would’ve cut into speeches and games!! If this wasn’t unprofessional enough she was complaining how hungry she was!!! She’s the one who took us so far away for NO REASON! She was also unprofessional with family members, trying to take them home. Very unprofessional lady, her pictures turned out lovely but that was also delivered two days after the full contract time finished. Unless you know this women personally or want to take her somewhere hot (destination) expect to wait the entire length to see a picture. And don’t expect any sneak peaks whatsoever because that won’t happen unless it’s a dog show or destination wedding. Also she doesn’t answer messages for weeks or some at all. 110% would NOT recommend to anyone.
