First of all the show room is incredible! Exactly what Pinterest would look like if it had a store. Secondly the staff are super kind and friendly and clearly try their best to get you what you need. The only thing I can say is that if you are having a wedding or event it is a MUST GO!

rented 2 tables for my wedding. Ended up being the wrong height. I didn't realize this until the day before and couldn't call in till the next day which was my wedding day. I did speak to the front desk and clarified and pointed at the specific table which one I wanted I got something else. I still give 5 stars because the staff was friendly and helpful when trying to fix the issue. Their follow up is great also.

Really awesome experience! had a very helpful wedding coordinator for my friends wedding set up recently! She’s mature and respectful and makes sure your needs are met. I believe her names Maya if you can get her for sure do! The prices are pretty reasonable and the staff are hardworking. They came and picked up stuff (basically took down the entire wedding) they were so quick and didn’t bother any one while picking up everything. I would recommend Handy for sure!

We worked with Priya at Handy for our wedding ceremony and reception. Priya worked with us patiently to understand our requirements and came with plans that worked for us. We were very happy with the decorations for both the events. Their pricing is very reasonable. They looked after all the coordination with the venue regarding delivery, setup, and pick-up. I will highly recommend Handy Special Event for any event planning and execution.

Multiple mistakes on numerous orders, high delivery charges. Always check over your quotes and invoices carefully! Everytime I ask for a correction they manage to change or add something else as well so its constant back and forth trying to get ONLY the right items on there. $75 delivery fee for a few tablecloths and we are just down the road! Rented a bunch of chairs for a business event, so chair covers aren't appropriate. Good thing we rented extra because many of them were stained and looked disgusting! Could not be used. Tried to tell us there was a table cloth missing when we definitely put all of them in the bag and they picked them up. Got charged $50 for an hour pick up window and they came in the last 3 minutes of that window and only after we phoned twice. Had to stay late to wait for them to load because one guy came but they were waiting for the truck to arrive, still get charged full fees.

GREAT EXPERIENCE! My son had a wedding this summer and it was just spectacular. We had some issues with our wedding planner but the event specialist from Handy, Mia, really stepped up. Now no everything wasn't perfect but that's just weddings. Even after the wedding when they went back to pick up our items we bought they had it all ready!

Handy Special Events were great to deal with. We rented the slush machine for a small gathering. We arranged an earlier pick up that they were able to accomodate. The machine came with instructions and they were able to provide mix to go with. Super tasty Pina Coladas were a hit!! Also used the non-alcohol margharita blend from large box store that worked great in the machine!

Nice showroom, WORST WEDDING SERVICE. Literally sent ALL the wrong things to the venue. took no responsibility. staff can't count. was not given 1 single correct item or correct number of items. charged us for "missing" items that we never received to TCU. almost ruined my wedding. DO NOT RECOMMEND. GO ELSEWHERE. Weddings are stressful enough without having the rental place send wrong sizes, colours and numbers of items the night before. leaving you scrambling to get their staff to hurry up with the right stuff THE MORNING OF YOUR WEDDING!!!! I would rate zero stars if I could. Thanks handyman for literally almost ruining the most important day of my life without so much as an apology or discount for your incompetence. Decent inventory, and the staff is really helpful. That being said, I was in there last week and I noticed mouse droppings all around the showroom. Won't be renting from here, worried about health implications.

Very expensive for poor product. Obviously don't take care of their products and don't care if they send them out in poor condition. Hit up Kijiji or other places before settling with them. This should always be a last stop. We won't be back

I had originally booked decorations, table clothes, and chair covers for my June 27, 2020 wedding. They were amazing to deal with when I first called for rentals and during our viewing. Handy was also extremely understanding when it came to postponing. We originally planned to postpone to June 2021, but ended up getting married dec 5 in-front of our immediate families. They was excellent with helping us switch over our rentals with our new needs. The selection and quality of decorations was spectacular, the service was awesome.
