Amazing vibe in this place. I'm from Saskatoon but live now in Victoria so first time in here. Love the venue for music! Great staff and a funky open concept floor plan. Room to dance or play shuffleboard or pool. Great "Lydia's type" feel.

I think this was a smart pivot to be offering breakfast! The breakfast menu had good breakfast offering in a cool setting! There was definitely a sense of history in the building. Parking was really easy out front! Food was tasty and probably more of a solid 4 but this place gets 5 stars for being a local place that offers a tasty breakfast! And I would return!

Good range of affordable beers, and a well-stocked bar. Whoever is in charge of making the cocktails there knows what they're doing. Order a Caesar, I think you'll be impressed. Shows there are a raucous affair, and the venue hosts a wide range of acts. I appreciate the variety, having a venue with eclectic tastes right downtown is a real asset.

Primarily a music club, this place excels at that but falls short on everything else. The music is great, the acoustics are good and the ambience is everything you look for in a music club. However the food is passable at best and the staff is quite rude.

Went here for a fundraising night. Food was pretty good and the drinks were of a good size. They also provided a decent sized stage area for our group to present some stuff on a projector. Lots of seating ans staff were very friendly.

I like the feel of the place and they have a great selection for drinks! Really fun and easy to be in the space and feel comfortable. There is a pool table and gaming console too, as well as a set of couches for relaxing a bit more if you like. But it is also easy to just sit and have food and drinks with friends or take in live music, which happens often. The sound equipment could be better for live gigs however, only negative thing I have to say about it.

Good venue. This place has great acoustics for live music. Lots of seating. There's a pool table. It has a proper stage, even if it is a little small. Huge bar with lots of choices. Food menu with decent choices. Parking is downtown, but there's no fee for street parking in the evenings. Patio, leather couch. Yeah. Good place.

Breakfast Capital YXE. Very good. Food came quick. Quality taste. VERY affordable compared to other breakfast spots. Free coffee first cup (Road coffee so good) and a cool vibe. Would recommend and will be back.

Went for their breakfast because saw ad on tv, glad I did. The breakfast was excellent and you can't beat the price. Totally recommend. Right now breakfast is Monday to Friday, but come November 7, breakfast served 7 days a week. Next to try supper. Social distancing on place, and great staff, plus coffee and tea included with the meal, that alone makes huge difference.

Food and service were good, but once the music started we couldn’t see anything as people stood at the front and the only way to see anything is to go in front of them (good luck for anyone trying to get through a crowd of drunk men). It would be nice if there were different levels so that you can not be right at the front and still see.

We had breakfast at the Capitol Music Club, hubby had the Blue Collar and I had the 2 egg breakfast. Meals were hot and cooked to order. The beans were a nice addition to the breakfast. The coffee was good. Server was friendly but didn't come back to clear plates, offer a coffee refill or bring a bill. Overall a great inexpensive breakfast place with an interesting atmosphere and decor.

I have been to the Capitol for breakfast... 6 times now? The food is good and at an amazing price. I have had the two egg breakfast and the breakfast club. I love their sourdough bread and their bacon. I appreciate how the components of the meal are from local providers. ????????????????????????☕️ Would highly recommend!

Great festive place! I've performed on stage and been to various other events as well. My only complaint is the support beams in the middle of the building near the stage and dance floor. They can obstruct the view of the stage especially when the place is sold out and packed full. Not really much that can be done to fix it. It's just the way the building is but other then that the sound quality is great. Great service. The bartenders and waitresses are always smiling. They seem to really enjoy their jobs. I always have a good time at the Cap!

I would just like to share that I was down from Regina and tried to come to capital. The doors were locked at 1:15 so we knocked. A long haired man cane and answered the door saying “what do you want” I answered it says you guys are open until 2. He then responded “ guess the bartenders wanna go home early tonight”. As an out of towner this is the worst kinda thing you wanna hear. Told everyone I would highly not recommend

The music is good but they need it turned down to actually enjoy. By all means I love loud music but in the size of their building it's too much. The vocals are loud enough but turn down the instruments to actually hear it.
