Let me first start off by saying this was the best decision we made for the wedding (apart from choosing each other). Veronique, our incredible planner, was so professional from the initial phone call. She relieved us of all our doubts and worries during the planning process and was incredibly thorough. We actually only did day-of planning with Rebecca Chan, however, Vero was kind enough to respond early to review our itinerary and speak with us 2 months before the wedding. She was extremely communicative and responded quickly and left no open ends. The days before the wedding all vendors were confirmed multiple times with exact instructions for deliveries. On the actual day of the wedding all fires seemed to be put out by Veronique completely discretely as we felt the day went completely seamlessly. Veronique was there to make sure everything looked absolutely spectacular, she made sure we were on time for everything but also ensured we were able to get in all the activities and photos we wanted to. She conducted herself elegantly but with clear authority and directed our whole wedding party with ease. Above all else, Veronique was a dream to work with as she showed empathy and genuine caring for both of us.

Hiring a wedding planner was a good decision, but hiring a wedding planner from Rebecca Chan Weddings was a great one! We were fortunate enough to have Veronique as our wedding planner, and we went with the Full Service planning option, and we didn't stress one bit. Even after having to reschedule a few times due to the pandemic. She was responsive, organized, and completely on the ball. She helped us through the whole planning process and the day of the event. She took the time to answer any questions we had, provided us with fantastic vendor options, and kept everything smooth on the actual wedding day. Overall, it was just amazing!! From the professionalism, to willingness to provide any support we needed, help finding decor, vendors...you name it and Veronique had us covered. She is exceptional at what she does. Hiring Tanya as our partial wedding planner was hands down the BEST decision we could have made during the wedding planning process. She was kind, communicative, efficient, as well as extremely reliable and detail oriented. She was able to see our vision and focus from the beginning and supported every decision we made - we never felt pressured in any way. Nothing seemed too big or daunting of a task for her. Our venue required outsourcing of all decor (from a few companies), catering, all tabletop items as well as staging, music and AV - there were so many moving pieces and she organized and worked with all involved personnel with such ease (and was able to foresee and prevent any problems that no one else would have anticipated!). It was difficult for me to envision how all decor elements would come together but she gave the best advice in such a kind way and in the end the reception decor was everything I could have dreamed of and more. She kept me focused on what mattered to me, and whenever I felt stuck with a planning decision she quickly was able to propose so many work-around or plan B options. There were zero hiccups on our day which I attribute completely to her organizational and communication skills. Beyond that - she really calmed me down on my day and when I became very sick 3 days before the wedding she really took over and completed all outstanding tasks. During our reception she ensured that we were well fed and tended to our every need. My husband and I could keep going with compliments on her outstanding work. We cannot recommend her enough - thank you Tanya!!!

We began working with her in September and throughout the entire planning process she was wonderful. This is the hardest review I had to write.... as I have no words that can express how OUTSTANDING Veronique is. From day one she has been on the ball. She was my right hand the whole planning process. Without Vero I think I would have gone nuts, she definitely kept me from becoming bridezilla. Organized isn’t even the word for this lady, she makes wedding planning look so easy and stress free and guess what... it totally was. When people asked me “how stressed are you?” prior to my wedding day my response was always, “not at all”. As there was never a day that with the help of Vero that I doubted my wedding would be anything but perfect, and it was that and more. My only regret was we didn’t hire her for more than just our day of coordinator. Tanya was amazing. She went above and beyond and stopped at nothing to make sure I had the wedding of my dreams. She was quick with emails, corresponded with my vendors, went out and took care of all the little details I couldn’t take care of when I was hospitalized last minute and two days before the wedding. Oh boy, where do I begin? In short, Rebecca saved our wedding. After months of trying to plan on our own, we still didn't know how to style our wedding, we had no vision for what anything should look like, we didn't know how to manage our vendors, and we didn't know how to prioritize our time and resources. From the first moment we started working with Rebecca, she blew us away. She was professional, creative, and highly attentive to details. At the end of the day, here's how Rebecca made us feel. 1. Relaxed and well taken care of the day of the wedding. We didn't have to lift a finger. All we had to do was to truly enjoy the wedding. 2. Everything was under control. We had full trust that Rebecca could handle anything - and she did. 3. Leading up to the wedding, she was quick to communicate through e-mails and phone calls. She even called us at one point just make sure we were both feeling okay when she sensed we were quite anxious leading up to the wedding. This 5/5 review is for the senior planner Veronique Caron. She joined us later in our planning process and got up to speed extremely quickly to pull our wedding off without a hitch. Organisation: Veronique is incredibly organised with both the bride & groom and the vendors. She is incredibly transparent, creating a detailed timeline and to-do list for us to share with vendors, and helped us stay on track. We were planning from out of country at the time, and moving back in the final weeks leading up to the wedding, so we were extremely grateful to her for keeping us on track. Client service: Working in client services & hospitality ourselves, David and I had high expectations for how our planner would work with us which Veronique met and exceeded. She was very thoughtful with both us and our families, she is incredibly diplomatic and friendly, but also able to assert a firm hand when needed. She was incredibly accessible - particularly while we were in different timezones - and always made sure she got back to us within 24 hrs. She was happy to work to our schedule and prepared us with great task lists, with enough notice for us to get them done. Expertise: No two weddings are the same, and it's clear Veronique takes her years of experience and applies it to each event she organizes. Her attention to the small things, the questions she asked our venue and vendors, and the advice she gave us along the way demonstrated a very thoughtful and experience approach to planning. Day-of: Perhaps the most important thing for a wedding planner is how they are on the day of. And we could not be more positive. Veronique kept us on time, she was firm with our bridal party and family to keep them organized, but always with a smile and such calm, collected grace. Everyone in our bridal party said they were very impressed with her and really enjoyed working with her. We interviewed three other wedding planners before we settled on Veronique from Rebecca Chan Events. Going with her for the partial planning service was without a doubt the best decision we made. From the very first meeting she listened to our vision and made us trust her completely to bring it to life. Her attention to detail and ability to execute are unmatched. We felt like we floated through our wedding day with her help. She knew many high end vendors which made choosing and organizing vendors a breeze.
