My husband and I got the full wedding planning service with Zerlene for our Mexican-Korean Wedding. She was very clear with information from the beginning, knows what she is doing, is realistic, friendly, easy-to-talk-to-kind-of-person, and her prices are very reasonable. She can stick to any budget you want and make the best out of it. We didn’t go through any stress during the process or day of the wedding. We are very satisfied with the service she provided and with the end result, and would recommend her without a doubt. Totally worth the money.
Zerlene was an amazing wedding planner that helped us (mostly me) with planning our wedding. Highlights include finding us a photographer (Up in the Clouds) who we enjoyed having, and the flowers. Zerlene took the time to drive me to the flower store (as I don't know how to drive and it's not TTC accessible), twice, and that was incredible. Day of, she and her assistant helped setting up the venue and re-using the flowers from the Church to the reception. Thank you!
After deciding to host our wedding on my parents beautiful property, and after having already hosted two of my cousins' weddings there, it was decided that although I wanted to plan everything, a "day of" wedding coordinator was absolutely mandatory, and that's when I found Zerlene at Impresario Events. It was decided that she and an assistant would be there the day of the wedding and she would also be at the rehearsal. Little did I know there were many other added perks to her service. We met a month or so before the wedding, she handed me over final check lists, suggestions of what else should be done, a check list of everything that is mandatory for an outdoor wedding which was extremely helpful, and put together a complete itinerary for the day including bridal party and vendor contact information and how the day would run start to finish. After that meeting I felt a huge sigh of relief knowing she would be there on the big day to take care of everything. The day was perfect! She was also kind in recommending certain vendors that were perfect for what I needed. So happy I found Impresario Events!
Zerlene was amazing to work with throughout the whole pandemic and multiple re-schedulings. She was always flexible and accommodating. She was well prepared at our meetings ahead of our wedding day and made sure we neither too tight or too loose on our itinerary. On our wedding day we were able to relax and enjoy the moment as Zerlene went from the reception venue to the ceremony venue and back making sure everything was perfect. She was able to take care of a lot of behind the scenes stuff in the morning and afternoon that let us not have to worry while taking pictures. The biggest benefit of hiring her though was for the reception and keeping things on schedule and managing all communication with the venue to ensure everything went smooth. We were actually able to enjoy our meals, mingle with guests and be in the moment instead of us (or our wedding party) having to deal with any minor details. If you weren't thinking of getting a day of coordinator the extra cost was worth every penny and then some! If you are thinking of getting a day of planner we highly recommend Zerlene and Impresario!
Our experience was excellent from start to finish. Zerlene is very knowledgeable and helped us with everything from finding vendors to keeping track of our important dates and keeping us on budget. She is also very responsive and flexible when it comes to scheduling. In February 2018, roughly 8 months out from my big day, I realized that I needed help planning my big wedding. I went on Google, not really knowing what or who I was looking for, and came across Impresario Event's webpage. After browsing the website for a few minutes, I knew Zerlene Mekdeci was the planner for me! Zerlene made the planning process so easy for me. She has a wealth of connections with many different vendors which made the dreadful process of finding and selecting vendors, easy and enjoyable for me, the bride! Zerlene has so many great ideas and tips that only someone with her knowledge and experience would know. Zerlene was always available for impromptu telephone calls and via email. Her turnaround time on planning documents and questions was within 24-48 hours OR LESS, which is amazing seeing as she coordinates multiple weddings a year. I always felt comfortable reaching out to Zerlene for any question I deemed as "silly" and sometimes just to bounce ideas off of her. On the day of the wedding while I was getting ready, I didn't have to worry about the church set-up because I knew Zerlene was taking care of it. At the hall, Zerlene was on the ball. She kept us, our parents and bridal party in line for the receiving line. Zerlene got us food off of our anti-pasto bar, coordinated with the MC and DJ to ensure our itinerary kept on track, worked with the kitchen staff, and so much more! She checked in with us to make sure we were okay. It was an amazing feeling to know that we had someone else on our team that day. Thank you for everything Zerlene. The Ultimate Impresario! We had a wonderful experience working with Zerlene as our wedding planner! She worked tirelessly for a year and a half to help us plan, design and execute three wedding events over two weeks. We truly could not have done it without her. Zerlene encouraged us to be ourselves, to be comfortable, and to have fun during the planning process and our wedding events, all while providing exceptional service and professionalism. She helped us balance multiple family traditions, religious and cultural backgrounds, while planning a wedding that truly reflected us as a couple and facets of our individual personalities. When we found ourselves stuck on specific details or encountered logistical/scheduling dilemmas, she came to us with viable options and solutions and worked with us to solve any problems that arose. Furthermore, she answered and followed up on any and all questions we had. We never felt pressured to create “her vision” to advance her career or to get her work in a bridal magazine. Her work is worthy and is of that calibre, but our wedding was important to her because it was important to us. Zerlene streamlined the legwork we did to seek out vendors so we wouldn’t be inundated and confused, giving us a short list to initially contact and consider before moving on to others. She attended vendor meetings, and reviewed or helped negotiate every contract. She is experienced, well connected, has a growing number of contacts in the industry, and works well with other vendors. The result? Beautiful, memorable, well-coordinated and executed events filled with subtle, special touches our guests continue to rave about! It was so much fun to work with Zerlene because of the energy and creativity she brings and the passion she has for what she does. She helped alleviate the stresses of wedding planning, particularly when things did not go according to plan. No one had any idea that things were not all as they should be, such as when one of my bridesmaids could not attend last minute due to illness and my father could not walk me down the isle because he got hurt an hour before the ceremony. She thought quickly on her feet and adjusted the procession, thought of a way for my dad to give me away how he could, ran last minute errands when items were misplaced or forgotten, and worked with us and the officiant to contingency plan and tweak the ceremony if necessary. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Zerlene and her team from Impresario Events. Zerlene was our day-of/month-of coordinator and was one of the best vendors we had for our big day. Zerlene was recommended by a friend and from the very beginning, she was very prompt to answer any questions or concerns via email, text messages and phone calls. She was professional, reliable and very organized which made our communication incredibly easy. Her experience in the industry definitely shows. She connected with all of our vendors the week of the wedding and made sure all the final details were taken care of. On the day of the wedding, she and her team handled everything, including labeling our honey jar wedding favours before the start of our ceremony (there was a delay with the arrival of our labels)! Zerlene from Impresario events was our day of wedding coordinator for our wedding in September. She was extremely professional, absolutely amazing and a must-have for our day! Leading up to the wedding, she was very organized and helped us identify details for the wedding we needed to flush out. The week before, she followed up with all of our vendors and made sure everyone knew the plan for our big day and put our minds at ease. On the day of, she made sure everything ran smoothly and really understood when to make decisions and when to come to us. She did a great job of speaking up when needed and providing her wedding wisdom but was never pushy. Zerlene, thank you for keeping us calm through re-planning our wedding during all of the craziness of last year and stepping outside of your day-of coordinator role to provide us much needed advice and help. At first I was not sure if I needed a wedding planner but it was my MOH that made me get one and really glad that I did! (This was 4 months before our BIG DAY when we decided!) I met with Zerlene not knowing what I wanted between the whole wedding planning or just the wedding day coordination. After our first meet up, we went through everything I had done and everything I still want and need to do on my list and she knew exactly what I needed! – Wedding day of coordination. It as an amazing service with Impresario events, Zerlene and her assistant Gwladys are amazing and worth every penny!!!! Zerlene was our planner and she is natural at what she does since day 1 of meeting her. She is always on top of things, making sure, I am also on top of things I needed to do, and more importantly, I am STRESS FREE! She also responds to text and email really fast- communication was NEVER a problem! The thing that I personally really like about Impresario Events that will definitely recommend is that, Yes, we did hire them for Wedding day of coordination but they go above and beyond and will respond to you if you need help with other things in your wedding! They took care of absolutely everything and on the day of like what they said they would, everything ran smoothly and on time! She had also taken care of the list I have given her that needed to be returned and she made sure it was ALL in the bridal suite before she left and everything was definitely there! Hiring Zerlene was one of the best decisions my now husband and I made shortly after getting engaged. She is very personable, warm, and friendly. We obtained her full coordination service as I felt we needed some expert hand-holding throughout the whole wedding planning journey. Right from the start, she said that working together would be like a partnership. She was full of great advice and suggestions, very organized, professional, and reassuring. My mom met her for the first time at our wedding rehearsal and was impressed with how she took charge to ensure that everyone in the bridal party knew what they were doing, when they were doing it, in what order, etc. Zerlene is also super responsive, which is something that is so important to me. My emails would get responded to same day, and sometimes within an hour or two, even if I wrote her a lengthy novel of wedding related discussion topics to work through and questions that popped up in my head. Very impressive considering I know my husband and I weren't her only clients she was working with at the same time, but it's a testament to her accessibility that it felt like we were her only ones. A good wedding planner does a lot behind the scenes that an engaged couple will never find out about, in order to minimize stress on the couple. Our wedding day went off without a hitch, and was a magical dream day. If there were any problems that day, my husband and I sure didn't know about it! Also, I would be remiss if I didn't mention Zerlene's day-of assistant, Karen, who was so kind and attentive, grabbing me some reserved cocktail hour food in the bridal suite of our reception hall so that I could get in a snack before doing the bridal party grand entrance; and bustling the back of my dress after my mom forgot how to do it. In sum, I would highly recommend Zerlene and her professional wedding planning services to any couple out there that are planning to get married!
My husband and I hired Impresario Events and went with their full wedding planning package and it was one of the best decisions we made. Our wedding planner Zerlene, went above and beyond to make sure the process went as smoothly as possible from start to finish. She helped us select our vendors, book appointments and kept us on schedule during an often hectic time for most engaged couples. In the weeks leading up to our big day, she even picked up and transported items between the different vendors for us. And this was on more than one occasion. I decided that I wanted to hire a day of wedding coordinator when all of the day of details were becoming overwhelming and we were unsure who was going to do set up and ensure that the day ran smoothly. I had a larger wedding (200 guests) with two venues, a church for the ceremony and golf club for the reception (in different cities). My sister found Zerlene online when searching for day of coordinators. Both of us were super impressed from our first interaction with Zerlene. She was professional, flexible and super organized. She told me very early on that she is perfectionist, and I knew that meant our day would run flawlessly (which it 110% did). She gave me documents for the set up list, seating chart, day of schedule which was VERY helpful. It seemed overwhelming at first, but it really was such a simple and organized document. I really appreciated it, and all of suggestions Zerlene provided. Zerlene was there for all of pre-wedding details, ceremony rehearsal, and ceremony. For the reception Glenda was there as the lead coordinator, and Melissa as an assistant. Both of them were amazing, with great attention to detail and organization. We received so many comments from our family and friends about how perfectly the day ran, without any stress. I would definitely recommend hiring Zerlene & her team for day of wedding coordinator. I was fortunate to have my parents pay for the day of coordinator, and they even said it was worth every dollar - they were super impressed too.
I believe a wedding planner is absolutely necessary in making any wedding successful and I’m glad to have Zerlene, Zoya and Natasha on the team along with other vendors. Zerlene helped me with pre-wedding details the month of and there were a lot of things in her documents that I wouldn’t have even thought of. The attention to detail is impeccable and she was flexible with any changes I recommended. On the day of, Zoya was great with keeping me on schedule. As with any wedding, our schedule was tight and I appreciated the fact that she did not try to rush me. She simply asked how much longer I would take, and that helped me to be mindful of the time myself. The schedule went off smoothly without any hiccups and I did not feel stressed out during the ceremony/reception. Would highly recommend impresario!
Zerlene made our special day seamless and serene. My husband and I are very particular people and it was hard to picture placing our wedding plans into somebody's hands. Once we spoke with Zerlene these worries amongst others melted away. We spoke with a few other wedding planners and they seemed to add to our stress while Zerlene problem solved with us quickly and efficiently! Her way of communicating with vendors and pulling the day together is top notch. We got amazing vendor recommendations from her! We we blown away with quality and price of these vendors in comparison to the research we did ourselves. I found Zerlene through WeddingWire when we were planning a wedding in a different province and found her rates to be really reasonable. Once we started working together, I realized how much I underestimated the planning that goes into weddings based on how much she had organized and communicated to us. She was amazing to work with as she is very down to earth and easy to talk to, extremely organized, and made the wedding planning process a breeze. She never hesitated to answer every little question I had no matter how dumb or tedious they were. Given how much COVID19 changed everything, she made everything work down to replacing vendors and venues cancelling last second (as in within a month or two of our date). I can't even imagine doing this by ourselves without her help. We could honestly say we had no stress about our wedding (except the obvious of whether our wedding could happen) because she literally handled everything down to adapting everything to be COVID friendly. When our day came, our day went by so quickly and smoothly. Our wedding was beyond what I could have expected, and I wouldn't hesitate to book her again for any other celebration-type event we can have once life goes back to normal. If you want to sit back and enjoy your day, she's your person hands down.
Zerlene was a dream come true, and I can’t give her a high enough recommendation. My husband and I got married while he was living in Boston (the wedding was in King City, Ontario), and I was months away from my PhD defense and interviewing for medical school. I’ve never been so overwhelmed with everything that had to be done, and Zerlene made everything easy, beautiful, and streamlined. I interviewed approximately 10 wedding planners, and Zerlene stood out from the rest. Her individualized touch, kind & level-headed communication style, experience, and ability to work with the whole spectrum of personality types made it an easy choice. Here’s a sample of the hiccups and challenges she helped us meet: a month before the wedding my dress was accidentally ruined by the dry cleaner, the day of the wedding it started to drizzle, and we really wanted a board game café theme. Zerlene was with me every step of the way and pulled off a flawless event. She responded immediately to help me find options for a new off-the-rack wedding dress, she orchestrated a beautiful ceremony and handled our weather issues (i.e. manage whether to set up inside or continue outside) with such grace that no one realized there was a concern, and found AMAZING vendors for our board game café. On that note, so many of the vendors told me Zerlene is one of their personal favourite wedding planners. Everyone loves her personality and working with her. Zerlene was also that perfect mixture in a wedding planner of having plenty of suggestions/opinions to help you when you’re stuck, but never overbearing or dismissive of your ideas. My husband and I hired Zerlene to plan our wedding which was in July of this year. We both have very busy lives so we decided we needed some help, after reading reviews for different wedding planners online and hearing all the great things about Zerlene, my husband and I reached out to Impresario events to set up a meeting. As soon as I met Zerlene I knew she was exactly the kind of person we were looking for and hired her that evening. Zerlene made the process of planning our wedding fun as opposed to stressful. She was always ready with suggestions for tried and true vendors so I had the piece of mind that these vendors were not only reliable but at the top of their class. About a month and a half before my wedding I found out that the venue we had chosen may not be able to hold our wedding. Without missing a beat she found and alternate venue that had my date available and still fit my theme! Luckily my venue ended up coming through but thanks to Zerlene I had a solid backup plan in place in case it did not. My wedding day went off without a hitch and even if there were any problems I was never aware of them! Zerlene and her team at Impresario events did an amazing job and I would highly them to any couple who wants the wedding of their dreams! She truly is the best of the best!

Zerlene began helping us plan our wedding in early 2019 for our planned celebration in October 2020. Prior to the pandemic, she recommended and connected us to everything we needed, whether it was flowers, venues, caterers, music, etc. Her involvement made the research and decision-making process easy. When the pandemic hit in early 2020, Zerlene was quick to help us plan around the changes and patient among all the unknowns. We kept the same wedding date, but she helped us re-plan everything (including the venue). In the end, with Zerlene’s help, we held a wonderful microwedding that our videographer live-streamed for all our family and friends. The ceremony was beautiful and we are so fortunate that everything went forward without a hitch. We highly recommend Zerlene. She stayed on top of the agenda and provided great professional advice throughout the planning process. Her wealth of experience was a huge benefit and we could not have done this without her.

If you’re planning a wedding in the GTA we would definitely recommend using her to help you. Our wedding was a dream come true! Our vision was realized, Our day was perfect and there is no way we would have achieved that without Zerlene. We picked a venue...and that’s it. After that we realized we were in over our head, found Zerlene and got our entire wedding planning on track. Neither myself nor my wife are designers and trying to look after the small details is far more work than we had anticipated. Zerlene sourced everything we needed including the people who were perfect for us and our style including the decorator, officiant, Deejay, photographer, videographer as well as a place to make our custom dance floor and step and repeat photo wall, where to get all of our signage printed and more. You can feel that she is personally invested in the day and all of the preparation that comes with planning it. I actually felt like we were her only client over the course of the experience. I can’t even express how happy I am that we chose Zerlene and Impresario Events for our day-of coordination! I felt so at ease on my wedding day knowing that she and her assistants had it all under control. Zerlene was incredibly organized and her experience in the industry shows. She was in touch well before our wedding to put together a detailed itinerary and ensure she had contact info for EVERYONE involved. It seemed like a lot of detail at first (and a lot of things I wouldn’t have even thought of without her list) but it forced me to get organized and was an absolute lifesaver in the end. She connected with all of our vendors the week of, and if anything did run off track I honestly had no idea (which is exactly what you need in a coordinator on the most important day!). She ran our rehearsal, navigated some family tension like a pro and did an unbelievable job setting up our décor. Most importantly, she was cool and calm, and able to quickly adjust the plan on the fly. She knew our itinerary down to the minute so our MC didn’t have to watch the clock or worry about the added responsibility – she’d quietly cue the next item but it never felt intrusive. She is such a perfectionist that she even advised our MC to delay his next introduction or our meat would be overcooked! Our guests are still raving about the “perfect” beef tenderloin all thanks to Zerlene…she thinks of everything! Even our rental vendor raved about Zerlene, and was really impressed that she took the time to reach out to them in advance as not all coordinators go to this effort. We live in Alberta but our families are both in Ontario along with many friends so we thought it made the most sense to get married in Ontario. I am so happy that I had Zerlene every step of the way for the planning of our intimate wedding that included many out-of-town guests! Dealing with wedding planning from a distance and with my other half being really busy this year with work, I needed someone to bounce my ideas off of and to help narrow things down. Zerlene made several suggestions for vendors that were within our budget and was quick about obtaining contracts. Her organizational skills are far superior to mine. Her reminders and payment tracking helped us both feel at ease throughout the process. I enjoy plain and natural elements and from Zerlene’s portfolio, she has lots of experience with elegant and elaborate decor. Even so, she listened to my ideas and helped make my vision come to life! She attended appointments with me when I was in town, attended the rehearsal, picked up, delivered and set up decor.. and even lent us some of her personal items for use. She was always prepared to do a last minute errand and had backup items such as a warm shawl for my freezing cold made of honour carrying my dress out in -25 degree weather! The last week I had hit my ultimate stress level and felt worried that things weren’t going to work out the way I’d planned. When my husband and I first got engaged, we wanted a destination wedding but wasn't really sure where to start. So, we spent some time online looking for a wedding planner and stumbled upon Zerlene. After reading several pages of positive reviews, we reached out. Zerlene made herself available right away to meet with us and discuss our vision. She did a great amount of work upfront - provided us with destination and resort options, weather forecasts, wedding package and cost comparison charts, etc. She was on top of all the details and always made herself available to discuss them. A few months later we needed to change our plans and keep the wedding local. Although a big change in direction, Zerlene immediately started sending us local venue, vendor, and costing options to get the ball rolling on the new plans. Throughout the whole process, we very much appreciated Zerlene's industry knowledge, reference documents, check-lists, check-in calls, reminders, recommendations, and suggestions. It was really great to have someone managing all the details and timelines, as both my husband and I were extremely busy with work. Vendors: Due to her extensive experience, Zerlene was able to recommend numerous vendors (venues, photographers, DJs, invitations, flowers, wedding dresses, etc.) that fit our wishes and budget for the day. The Details: There are a lot of things that go into planning a wedding, many of which I would have never thought of. Thankfully, Zerlene is incredibly organized and experienced, so she ensures that every detail of the big day is taken care of. I honestly can’t stress enough how nice it is to not have to worry – “have I forgotten something”, because I knew Zerlene was on top of it. Day-of: Our day quite literally went perfectly. I loved Zerlene’s organization day of the wedding because she ran the day from the background so to not disrupt your enjoyment of the celebrations. But she quietly kept everything moving perfectly on schedule. I know my MC’s were so thankful for her. They were able to celebrate and enjoy the night without having to watch the clock every moment as Zerlene would cue them right on time. Zerlene also has excellent taste. I left the table arrangements largely to her judgement, and they turned out beautifully. Again, our day could not have turned out more perfectly, and the process was infinitely less stressful due to Zerlene’s expertise. I can’t recommend her enough!
I was totally one of those brides who didn’t think I needed a wedding planner, but when my mother in-law wanted to do the decor herself I decided to hire Impresario Events to help. Zerlene was AMAZING, she took all the stress off of me the days leading up to my wedding and especially on the wedding day. She was organized, knowledgeable, and very quick to respond to any questions I had. After the rehearsal, we had last minute changes due to family members, and with only a couple of hours notice, she figured everything out, and took care of it all! I defiantly believe that my husband and I wouldn’t have been able to have as much fun as we did on our wedding day, if it hadn’t been for Zerlene. She took care of all the details and was there for anything we needed, allowing us to just enjoy the wedding and not have to worry about anything else.

Zerlene is everything you would want in a wedding day coordinator - professional, flexible, friendly, organized, efficient, and responsive. She was a big help throughout the planning process and was a pleasure to work with. Prior to the wedding, she helped us create a timeline, recommended vendors to us, and helped us organize our decor setup plan. A week before the wedding, she contacted all our vendors to confirm the timeline and other details. On our wedding day, Zerlene handled all of our decor setup and made sure everything ran smoothly. We felt so stress-free on our wedding day in large part to her. We were especially happy when we received several comments from our guests on how well our wedding was organized. We would definitely recommend her to others!
We know of Zerlene through my sister in law’s friends Anna and Sonam. They were very happy with her at impresario events. We still reached out to other wedding planners to compare but after meeting each one of them, we found the confidence to trust our wedding to Zerlene. And indeed she DELIVERED. We live in the US and we have to do everything by phone or mail and she was on top of it. Every email was answered on time and she don’t mind having skype to talk to us if we have concerns and questions. Whenever we are on town, all meeting have been taken care of and all we have to do is to be there. Like our expectations, she did all the vendors and event research, made all the appointments, bargain packages, keep track of budget and payments, did all the communications and coordination, managed the ever changing wedding day itinerary, and just in overall she really did take off a lot of stress on me (the bride). Zerlene had a lot of vendor contacts which we like a lot because it gave us options based on our preferences and budget. She worked a lot with these people and they gave us good discounts and services because of her and most importantly she knew that they will do a good job at our wedding. And yes they did. We were very happy with all the vendors she referred to us that we wouldn’t have known if not because of her. She gave us her true opinion and advice on many different things and I believed that it made our wedding a lot more to what we like. The wedding day in itself couldn’t have gone more smoothly than I expected. My husband and I kept telling each other that we never thought our wedding day would go by so well. Yes we have everything all planned out in paper and we did the rehearsal 3 days before but we never think that it will be perfect. Everything was taken care of and everything went by EXACTLY as I wanted it to be. It was the PERFECT wedding. I was able to really enjoy the wedding day with my family and friends and I have nothing to worry about. Everybody had a great time at the wedding. I’m am so beyond grateful that I hired Impresario Events for month of coordination services. As both a budget-conscious and DIY bride, this is something I considered to be an essential cost so that my husband and I could enjoy our big day. Zerlene was AMAZING from the moment I started working with her – after our first appointment, I walked away feeling so at ease. While I was a very organized bride, there were so many aspects of the wedding planning process that I was unaware of, especially in the final month leading up to my wedding. Having Zerlene on my team really saved me a lot of time and money in the end, as she was able to flag potential problems early and find cost-saving solutions. She coordinated with my venue and vendors to ensure that everything ran smoothly both leading up to and on our wedding day. Her team also ran our rehearsal, which was SOOOO helpful. There were a million things happening during the week of our wedding, and planning for our rehearsal (which is much more work than it seems) is one less thing that I had to worry about. We’re still getting feedback from guests about how well organized and smooth our wedding day was. Our day of coordinators handled everything – all I had to do what show up, get married, and celebrate. We really got to enjoy our day and not worry, which is how it should be. I really can’t emphasize enough how awesome the team is at Impresario Events. I highly, highly recommend using them for your wedding!
Zerlene and the Impresario team were wonderful to work with! I knew I wanted a wedding planner as my partner and I have busy lives and needed someone to source vendors and negotiate prices on our behalf. I can say without a doubt that Zerlene is very responsive and great in providing her unbiased opinion, which is something I highly value. Her superior organizational skills and pro-activeness to get things done meant that my partner and I barely had to lift a finger. On the wedding day, we arrived at the venue and Zerlene and the team were already hard at work putting everything together and making sure that we were satisfied with how everything look. Most importantly, Zerlene was able to manage issues that came up. The flowers were about half an hour late and we were starting to run out of time but Zerlene waited and contacted the vendor and personally delivered the flowers to my room and checked that they were indeed the right flowers. At the reception, my partner found out that the table numbers were not laid out in the way it was provided to us and as a result, would have meant that immediate family members would be sitting all the way at the back. My partner quickly informed Zerlene and she was able to work with the venue to get all the tables, chairs, and seating rearranged. And those were the issues I knew about! I'm sure Zerlene shielded us from other things and in doing so, made sure everything went according to plan. Overall, I highly recommend Impresario - 5 stars all around!
First off I have to say, Zerlene was an absolute godsend! My husband and I got married in mid-September of last year (2017) and the wedding turned out to be everything we wanted it to be and more. I am a registered nurse and my husband is in construction; finding the time between us to plan was difficult to say the least. But having Zerlene there every step of the way made what seemed impossible within reach. She was on top of things from our very first meeting and came with everything from a budget, suggested venues to fit our hollywood theme and a timeline. She made herself available via email, telephone and was present in person when we needed her for vendor meetings and the rehearsal. Leading up to the wedding day she helped keep us on track with to do lists and called each vendor to confirm arrivals, drop-offs and final details. She also made the wedding day run smoothly; communicating with vendors and venue staff and handling surprises with ease so we could enjoy our night. Zerlene is extremely organized, pro-active and in-tune with her clients needs. Aside from that she is extremely kind-hearted and passionate. I cannot thank her enough for making our big day such a success.
My husband and I got the full wedding planning service with Zerlene for our Mexican-Korean Wedding. She was very clear with information from the beginning, knows what she is doing, is realistic, friendly, easy-to-talk-to-kind-of-person, and her prices are very reasonable. She can stick to any budget you want and make the best out of it. We didn’t go through any stress during the process or day of the wedding. We are very satisfied with the service she provided and with the end result, and would recommend her without a doubt. Totally worth the money.
Zerlene was incredible to work with! She helped us with budgeting, figuring out vendors (even when we were being selective) and helping plan out our wedding schedule before the wedding. Almost any question we asked, she had an answer for and she kept us on top of our own planning and scheduling. During the wedding day, she and her team handled everything, including running out and getting more alcohol when we were at risk of running short! As soon as she arrived at the wedding venue, our stress levels completely dropped because we knew she had it under control. We'd highly recommend working with her and her team!
Zerlene is the type of person you need to get your but into gear for your wedding! Not to say I was unorganized, but Zerlene has a special way to keep you organized with every single vendor, meeting, and follow up you have! She also has lots of connections to vendors if you need something last minute (for example, my hair dresser bailed out days before my wedding). Zerlene had that under control and connected me to lots of hair stylists within my budget with time to spare! I hired Zerlene 3 weeks before my wedding for same day wedding services, and she really helped me and my now husband get all the final touches completed. Our wedding was on Sept 19 2015 and it went 100% smoothly Zerlene works great with any last minute changes, she's so flexible but at the same time she is on the ball with keeping everything on track. I'm so glad that I chose to hire Zerlene because not only did I have a great planner, I made a good friend and I’ll always cherish and appreciate her!
We hired Zerlene for wedding day coordination and we're very happy we did. She started by providing us with all of her organization templates, which were very useful and served as our primary planning documents. Then, around 4 weeks before the date, she took over some of the last minute preparations and helped immensely with double checking all of our vendors and getting everything lined up for the wedding. She is incredibly organized and responsive and made everything about our wedding day easier. We couldn't stop talking about how we didn't have to pay any attention to the vendors or last minute organization. Our wedding planner, Zerlene, was such an amazing help for us in helping plan our big day. When we were planning she was very organized and knew how to properly time what we needed to have done. She kept us on track with all the required tasks leading up to the wedding. Whenever a set-back was revealed she was prompt to resolve it. She had many contacts for vendors and helped identify those that were within our budget (which we must say she paid for herself within the first few months of planning with her vendors and discounts she was able to acquire). Being from out of town she helped keep in contact with those vendors and met up with them if necessary in order to meet deadlines. She also helped go over the contracts of all vendors to make sure they met our needs. On the day of is when I personally appreciated her the most. It was a busy day and she kept us on track and most importantly stress-free. There were many tasks she covered that she performed in the background while we were enjoying the day with our friends and family, since they did not have to help organize these tasks (which to me was very important, stressing on your own wedding day can ruin the event). We interviewed a few planners, and were most impressed by Zerlene's professionalism, knowledge, and flexibility in wedding planning and organizing. We planned our wedding for about a year, and throughout that time, Zerlene kept us on track, gave us ideas and recommendations, and would always respond within the day whenever we had questions. The week leading up to the wedding, Zerlene followed up with our vendors to make sure that they all understood what the plan and timeline were on the big day. Because of this, e didn't have any any issues with any of the vendors not showing up on time or not knowing where they were supposed to be. Zerlene also did day of coordination.
