My wife and I had the pleasure of having Gloria as our wedding planner from the early spring of 2018 right up to our October wedding date and she did a fantastic job. From researching which vendors would be a good fit for us, to flexibility with meeting in person and over the phone conversations and any discrepancies or issues were attended to immediately. She always kept in constant contact with us, even if she was away for a day or two. She is very personable and has a great attitude as well as her knowledge of which vendors to use is excellent. Every vendor she found for us did an amazing job. She is very much worth having as a wedding planner and we highly recommend anyone who is having a wedding to hire her.

Best decision ever!! Hiring Gloria and her team at Historia Wedding & Event Planning was the single best decision we made when planning our wedding! Having Gloria on site on our wedding day alleviated ANY stress or worry and allowed us to truly enjoy our day without any stress!!! I am in the event industry and was very worried that I would find myself "working" on my wedding day, but I am so thrilled to say that Gloria never even gave me that opportunity!! She was SO on the ball, had a handle on every moving part (and we had a LOT of moving parts lol) and she just managed the day beautifully! She was incredibly thorough in all of our communications, catching anything I missed or overlooked. Her attention to detail is unlike anyone else!!! She was always very quick to reply and truly took time to address every issue/concern. To Gloria, you are not just a one off client or a number... she cares about you, your event, and gives you her 100% attention each and every time. You NEED at least a day of coordinator, but having a month of coordinator really takes a lot of stress away from you so you can focus on other things! Gloria was utterly fantastic and our wedding was absolutely amazing because of her. She has immense knowledge of the wedding industry and saved us countless hours of our own research (and stress). She’s studious, diligent, and organized which helped us keep on top of the decisions we needed to make, as well as on top of ensuring vendors were coordinated with promptly too. As well, she is caring and thoughtful and just an absolute joy to work with. Gloria was consistently professional and responsive with us; we could get in touch at any time and she was always prompt and courteous. She was even helping to plan our wedding on HER honeymoon - that’s how dedicated she is to ensuring that her clients are taken care of! And no request was too strange, Gloria took everything we’d come up with in stride and worked to execute our vision, wild whims included: We had specific wishes for ceremony seating and she made sure everybody got to where we wanted them to be. I wanted tiramisu on my wedding day; she had the venue deliver it to my seat, and checked in with me to ensure it had happened as promised. The day-of, she did so much behind the scene that I didn’t even have to think about. I had a super low-stress day; all I had to do was get ready. She ensured all the vendors showed up, had all the decor set up at the venue for us, and was on top of any little issue that needed to be taken care of. I’m sure there were lots of things she did that I never noticed, but I know for sure she teleported into the room that we were taking photos in as soon as the men’s boutonnieres started needing pins. She also helped to corral us, our wedding party, and our guests to make sure we stuck to the agreed-upon photography timeline. Seriously, you will never regret hiring Gloria to help plan your special day. We only wish we’d hired her sooner! Thank you so much Gloria, for your huge part in our unforgettable day!
