I contacted Tara 2 months prior to a major corporate event being held at The ROM praying she would be available. Luckily she was. I had a phenomenal experience with her 3 years prior for my wedding at The Royal Conservatory of Music and knew she would be the ideal choice for this event. She provided exceptional service in terms of creative vision, budgeting and logistics. Her strong network within the industry proved to be incredibly helpful sourcing all items needed in a short period of time. There were many moving parts to this event and Tara's positive and can-do attitude were bliss to work alongside. The event was flawless - from food to decor. Our guests are still talking about all its beauty. I highly recommend Tara and Bliss for any corporate event or wedding. Any client will be in great hands should they choose to work with Bliss.

I have worked with Bliss and Tara on several different events over the years and have always come away extremely pleased with the creativity and professionalism presented by this company. Tara has an infectious enthusiasm and a creative flair that makes working with her a pleasure. Every event on which I have worked with her and her team has been a resounding success with each detail attended to and perfectly executed. A true tell-tale is the stories I hear after events from other guests describing small details or solved problems that I hadn’t even known about—all taken care of seamlessly behind the scenes without me needing to be involved. I feel this is a true sign of a good event organizer. I see one review here complaining about the service received from Bliss and I can only think that this person is describing the wrong company or is delusional-- as one who has worked closely with Tara on many occasions I don’t recognize the description here. It is really sad that there are people so unhappy in the world that they feel the need to spew hate at someone so obviously dedicated to their craft. I would highly recommend Tara and Bliss to anyone who expects a joyful, enthusiastic, creative experience from the their well-planned, beautiful and flawlessly organized event.

Tara O'Grady helped us craft the most magical and memorable wedding day ever and I cannot thank her enough. A snapshot of her dedication to her clients: I first met Tara in a coffee shop a mere 2 weeks after she had given birth to her son. She agreed to sit down with myself, my mother and my fiancé and discuss our wedding plans, while her husband circled the block with her sleeping newborn in the car. This, to me, is just one example of how I always felt that Tara put our wishes and needs as a very, very high priority. The process of planning our wedding spanned a year, and I only wish it were longer if only to get to spend more time with Tara, as she is an absolute gem of a person, the epitome of grace under pressure (i.e.: complicated wedding logistics like we had) and humility. We have since recommended her to many friends & family for their event planning. Simply put, she is professional, creative, hard-working, incredibly organized, and an absolute delight to work with!

My husband and I used Tara at Bliss Events for our wedding in July. It was on a family property outside of Toronto and had the potential to be a logistical nightmare. This couldn’t have been further from what happened. She provided us with everything we needed including awesome vendors and even helping the groomsmen with their bow ties. Not that we will ever get married again, but if we did, we would 100% use Tara at Bliss Events. We have referred Tara to all of our guests who asked us who the wedding planner was that made our dream wedding a reality. She made multiple sight visits and was always prompt with email and calls. The logistics of getting guests, band, celebrity chef - (that Tara found ) could not have been done without her calm, charm and experience. It went off without a hitch. Lisa Garafalo was incredible. She listened carefully to what type of wedding we wanted and worked tirelessly to ensure that it was delivered. Lisa is adept at knowing just when to push you on an idea and when to let you figure it out. She always provided us with a number of options in different price ranges and give us sound advice on the pros and cons of different vendors. We never felt pressured into making a decision. Lisa is very organized and kept us moving along through out the planning stage and the execution of the plan on the day of our wedding. Many of our guests commented that our wedding was the best that they have attended and we believe it is largely due to Lisa's attention to detail and organization to ensure that the events of the day flowed effortlessly. If you require a planner to ensure a successful event, we would definitely recommend Lisa, we will use her services again for any large celebration.

I had gone with Bliss because of the awards it had won in the past. I had Lisa Shaw as my day of wedding planner. Throughout the months leading up to my wedding she was distant and uninvolved. I attempted to engage the owner to get more help however she too was uninterested. Two weeks before my wedding, Lisa quit. She told us on Monday that she was leaving Bliss, and told us she would be available for the next 4 days if we had any questions. I called the owner Tara, who offered minimal assistance. I had our final run through with the venue, DJ, florist the day after she quit. Tara informed me that I should cancel that appointment and reschedule for some time later that week so that the substitute that she had arranged for Lisa could be there. She didn't offer to call anyone or reschedule the meeting herself - despite it being on the books and coordinated for weeks. Finally, after several phone calls Tara allowed us to have a phone meeting to figure out the plan going forward. She offered us one of her staff who had never run a wedding to be our event coordinator that day. We felt that this was strongly inadequate given that the wedding was in 2 weeks and despite our concerns, she did not offer any solution. We had to cancel our contract with them and lost all of the money we had originally paid - even tho Lisa hadn't even done anything! Don't waste your time, money and emotions with Bliss. They ruined my wedding month and have caused extreme stress and inconvenience without any remorse.

I think they are consummate professionals when it comes to event logistics and always treat clients and vendors with the utmost respect. Was at an event totally organized and run by Bliss Entertainment and... it was spectacular! Every detail was planned and executed to perfection and there were so many small, thoughtful details were included that there was no choice but for every single person there to have a fabulous time. It was all pulled off with exceptional service levels. I wish there was more than 5 stars to give!! Tara is genuinely friendly and dealing with her was as easy as could be. Leading up to the event, she or one of her staff were available by phone (i.e. no voicemail) when we called the office and, impressively, she immediately remembered us from a previous event over 18 months ago. Tara was very understanding and accommodating regarding our dietary restrictions and took our request easily in stride. Tara greeted us at the event by immediately remembering us and introduced us to several of her staff like we were her long lost friends - it was a nice feeling. Tara was very busy the whole night making sure everything was taken care of and going smoothly, but she still took the time to personally double check with us at our table before dinner to make sure our dietary restrictions were understood and being met. From the planning and the décor, to the finer details and flawless execution of every aspect of the party, and through exceptional service levels, from top to bottom and start to finish, Bliss Entertainment put on an unbelievably successful event. In fact, it was difficult to image how any of it could've been any better.

Tara at Bliss is absolutely amazing, and I would highly recommend her to plan any event! Unfortunately due to the current circumstances we were unable to go ahead with our wedding over the holidays this year. But, leading up to the day with the constantly changing restrictions Tara had to make so many last minute changes and she always made it so seamless. Lisa Garofalo Shaw of Bliss Toronto In., provided same-day event coordination for my husband and I’s wedding in April 2016. Although we only hired her for same-day coordination, I felt like Lisa was involved way before the actual wedding day. From the beginning, she provided us with a monthly timeline of things we should be doing to keep up with the planning process. She also began filling out an itinerary for the day and confirmed with all our vendors prior to the day to ensure everything ran smoothly. My husband and I really wanted to be involved with the planning process but I am so happy we had Lisa there to guide us through it. To any bride and groom that think they can do it themselves, get at least a same-day coordinator as there are so many things you do not want to worry about the day of your wedding and some things you might not think of before that they remind you to do. I highly recommend Lisa and her team to anyone planning a wedding. She responds promptly to any questions you might have and is very dedicated to her job. Not only did Lisa do a fantastic job, she is also an incredibly nice and kind person who is very easy to work and communicate with.
