Its been a while now since ArtofCelebrations worked on perfecting my wedding. It has been an amazing experience. The whole thing started with a google search, I was not referred to them by anyone. I was also under extreme pressure from losing my original wedding planner. I called them hoping to find someone who could replace the original planner who decided to drop everything and stop answering my calls just 3-4 weeks before my wedding. Roxy, replied to my call. Whether you are having a traditional wedding or have special theme that is closed to your heart Roxy will make it happen. Waterfalls, doves, lanters, fireworks, you name it, she has it. Roxy will create your perfect wedding and make your dreams come true just like she did for me and my husband in June 2012. Right from the inception she explored different ideas and questions with great patience and understanding. We were also advised that she could create a number of scenarios for our wedding design/decor in 3D to better visualize it. She did go above and beyond whether i came to returning phone calls or emails. Finally she took away the stress of planning it, she was always just a phone call away and as a bride it is one of the most important things during this crazy time. The end product, which was a travel/ avation themed wedding was out of this world and we were both left speechless. The attention to details was spectacular. From the invitations to stationary and decor, it was all connected together. In our opinion she is simply the best. Can i give 10 stars?? I hired Art of Celebrations for our planning, event design, and flowers for both my Bridal Shower and Wedding this year. Leading up to the shower, Roxy was professional, kind, sweet, fun, punctual, creative, the list goes on! She truly has an eye for details and design. My shower started at noon and leading up to the shower I had asked her what time I should be there, and she said 11:55am - meaning I did not have to worry about anything that morning - just show up! That is what every bride wants to hear! When I arrived at the venue, I knew leading up to it that it would be beautiful, but it was BEYOND my expectations! It was absolutely stunning!!! I received endless compliments on the decor and the flowers - the flowers were so beautiful that people thought they were fake - but all real :) I had a peach theme shower and Roxy knew exactly how to incorporate peaches tastefully, elegantly, and beautifully. For my wedding, I had Roxy and Tristan working with me - again, this is the dream team! There were so many more details involved with the wedding and they were on top of everything! The wedding was a DREAM come true - absolutely stunning and flawless! I love black and wanted to incorporate black into the decor but was a little hesitant - Roxy told me no need to hesitate and designed everything just perfect - exactly what I had wanted and more! Flowers were everywhere and beyond beautiful!!!! People are still talking about both my shower AND the wedding! My husband won't stop talking about the decor either!! By the end of our events this year, Roxy and Tristan felt like friends - they are both so easy going, kind, fun, yet professional and you can truly tell they love what they do! Overall, having a planner and an event designer is worth every penny. Where to begin!? I found Roxy through an internet search once I discovered exactly what was involved in planning and coordinating a wedding. Roxy was not only professional but down to earth, flexible and approachable about anything. We didn't have a big budget or time frame to work with and not once did she make us feel that way. We hit some obstacles along the way and she always found a solution that worked for us. She was with us at every meeting, negotiated on our behalf and was always completely present and focused on our needs and concerns - in a timely manner. Dear Roxy & AOC, I just want to reiterate once again how happy Andrew and I are. We truly feel like we had the perfect wedding and it was the happiest day we could have ever dreamed of. A massive thank you to you and your team for all of your hard work bringing our vision to life. The final product was 10x what we had hoped for and we were blown away when we saw everything come together. From the stunning lounge area (so carefully curated after muchhhhh consideration lol), to the ceremony setup (that arch was an absolute dream), to the tent itself..... everything was jaw dropping and seriously a show stopper. We have received so many rave reviews of guests who were blown away by the magic of the venue. I am very quick to let them know it wasn’t the venue, the venue was a piece of grass, it was us who brought it all to life! Thank you for being so diligent in hearing my ideas and needs and taking the time to make sure they were met. On the day of your team was so attentive; making sure Andrew and I had food and drinks, helping my family out, even helping me pin my dress when my bustle broke!!! Tristan was an absolute sweetheart and it made me so happy having someone so friendly and attentive looking after us on our special day :) Also I can’t stop dreaming about the flowers! AOC/flower Parade did an insane job!!!!! My bouquet was the most beautiful thing I’ve laid eyes on and it was everything I was hoping for; soft, romantic, airy but elegant. Roxy and her team, including Lana, were really great to work with and did a fantastic job helping us execute our wedding. We found Roxy through the reviews on multiple sites, and we interviewed a number of wedding planners before deciding to go with Roxy. We felt she was on top of her stuff, was able to work with our budget. We are an- out- of-country couple looking to get the full package of help - from finding a venue all the way to day-of coordination. Roxy was always very responsive, be it via email or through skype and was always responsive within a couple of days, and understood that due to our schedule we may not be as available, and she figured out our communication style and schedule and we got into a rhythm pretty quickly. Very important when we are living in a completely different continent and timezone. She was able to show us the venues in Toronto, negotiate with them on our behalf and she came with us to all of our meetings with the vendors/venues when we were back in town. She eliminated a lot of the work of having to search for everything we need by having a list of preferred vendors or ones she has worked with in the past. We even had to change our wedding date, and she was able to coordinate with all the parties involved to make sure they can accommodate the new date. However, as a couple, you will still need to make sure you keep close tabs on the budgets and contracts with vendors, and ensure you track what is pending and when it is due. The day itself was flawless. Roxy really did take care of everything. We also used her flower shop for the flowers and centerpieces and I couldn't have asked for more beautiful flower arrangements that matched exactly what we were looking for. As well, they came right on time to the bride and groom's getting ready locations. We showed her a picture of a wreath we saw online, and not only did she recreate the wreath with our colours, but In my opinion, it was even prettier than the original picture. We loved working with Roxy and Lana and would definitely recommend them to make sure you can enjoy the wedding day.

The AOC team did our month of/day of coordination as well as all of our flowers and decor and it was one of the best decisions. They ensured everything was set before the wedding, made sure everything was ready to go the day of and ensured the day went smoothly. I was so relaxed and because of Roxy, I was able to really enjoy the day not having to worry about timing and the little details. The team responded to emails so quickly and I always felt at ease after speaking with Roxy. In addition, the flowers and decor at the venue were stunning!! My fiancé and I hired Roxy and her company to plan our upcoming wedding in August. We had a Skype call and I decided to go with her company. My family and I put a deposit of around $2,100 CAD and were excited to see what she would offer. The total would have costed around $7,000 CAD. Roxy was very personable and kind with great fashion sense. This is where the positivity ends. My family and I were sadly disappointed. We were under the impression that she would lead the charge and tell us exactly what was next (booking shuttle, welcome bags, assisting with the wedding shower, etc.) In her contract, it explicitly states that she should be doing EVERYTHING. I should not have to prompt about what my needs are. I even gave her a test. The venue I selected has a wedding coordinator there as well. I asked them both to find me a list of officiants that were local to the neighborhood. Roxy did not e-mail me back for around 4 days, however the other wedding coordinator who was hospitalized, e-mailed me back in 2 hours from when the e-mail was sent. Secondly, being late for both meetings in person and not having everything organized was another issue. My fiancé and family drove 4 hours through a snow storm to meet Roxy to start our venue search. Roxy was around 20 minutes late only having to drive 55 minutes. She also neglected to tell us that she was eight and a half months pregnant. She had no idea who we were meeting and what dates were available for venues. . The people at the venue did not even know who she was. Also Roxy did not factor in lunch, which was an issue. It was go go go from the minute we arrived at the first venue. The second meeting in person was when my fiancé and I were going to do a tasting for our wedding. My parents flew in from New York to be at the tasting. At first Roxy was not going to be there. I was floored that my wedding planner was not going to be at my tasting, which is a HUGE component of the wedding. She told me that she had a long term client that had a birthday party. I had to e-mail her and express my frustration to get her to attend, which is ridiculous. Roxy was 5 minutes late to this meeting. Thirdly, another issue was the photographer. Roxy gave us a list of 3 photographers to choose from. Except for the photographer, she did not give us any local vendors to the Niagara region. (Later in an e-mail I was told that she does not work with any “local” vendors that are not Toronto, this should have been brought up before the deposit was made). My fiancé and I decided on a photographer and actually got to meet her at the tasting. There were multiple packages that you could choose from. We chose the most expensive package, which was around $2,000 CAD, this was “package 3.” My father, the one paying for the wedding agreed and I thought that was the end of it. Roxy sent me another set of prices where there was a package 4 and the price increased $300…I was confused and did not know what happened between our meeting in person and the increased cost. She explained that she gave us the “old pricing” and this was her new 2017-2018 pricing. I thought that this was ridiculous because one should honor whatever cost that was given to us. Cost was an issue, as I mentioned before, we were not provided with different vendors for anything. She gave us no other options and we asked for these after the fact. Having a flower shop as well, Roxy tried to persuade me to go with her company based on the other quotes that were given from other vendors that day. I could not fathom that a wedding planner that did not fulfill her duties was going to receive $8,500 CAD more to do both flowers and décor. I sent her in an e-mail stating that I no longer required her services around 2 weeks ago and her assistant sent me back an e-mail and said good luck with everything. I never even received a phone call from Roxy herself trying to get us back or apologize. I was floored by her behavior and would highly suggest that others look into other amazing wedding planners.

The arrangements are absolutely stunning! This is exactly what I wanted and it exceeded my expectations. Everything is gorgeous! The team is so efficient and everything is in place before the ceremony and the reception. This is not only a surprise to the guests, but a surprise to us as well. The petals around the cake are beautiful, and I notices that there was a real rose in my bird cage to match my faux flowers. I can feel that the team paid so much attention to the details. The families were stunned by the huge center piece on their table, so am I. They couldn't believe the flowers are real because they are so beautiful. The wisterias and other flowers matched perfectly. The arch and the head table arrangements are like dreams. My father says the arrangements are better than any movie scenes he had ever seen. Lots of my guests asked me where did I order the flowers. I will definitely refer Art of Celebrations to them.
