Where do I start! I was referred to Alana from a friend of mine because I knew I needed a wedding planner to help with my wedding on July 19th 2020. At the time, all was good and we were going to have 200 people. We met Alana, and she was personable, and easy to communicate with, responded quickly and answered any questions we had. We booked her for FULL PLANNING and thank god we did. March 2020 comes along and boom... COVID hit! I must say, thank god for Alana. We moved our date to October and she dealt with everyone. The entire time I was stressing, Alana was calm, collected and organized. She knew all the right vendors to speak to. Arranged all the virtual meetings- helped get my ideas across clearly, and went back and forth emailing the vendors so i could focus on work. I am more of a hands off person, and i fully trusted Alana to take over. She understood my vision, and helped this wedding come to life. Not only was she supportive during COVID when all things were uncertain - she kept me calm, and made me feel good about the wedding we were planning. We took the guest list down from 200 to 50 people. Decided to focus on making the room spectacular, and putting together all the pieces we still wanted like a band, comedian etc.. Alana was amazing to work with and I would 100% recommend her to anyone. She does a fantastic job and my wedding was gorgeous. On the day, she was so helpful, got everything organized and the swoon events team were great! I will be using her again for all my planning.... She is absolutely fantastic

Swoon Events is by far the best planners out there! I was always the top priority and anything was made possible! Alana was my lead planner and without her my wedding would not have been was it was. She took care of everything! I was always thinking of 101 things and Alana was on top of all of them. She always checked in with me to make sure I was okay with decisions and ideas, and she reassured me every time we spoke and made the wedding planning process stress free and fun! Leading up to the wedding, I was feeling excited and not stressed at all, all thanks to Alana! Day of the wedding, Alana came in ready with smiles and a very calm, but excited demeanour. She made my wedding everything that I had hope and dreamed of. Alana, and Swoon Events, are DEFINITELY HIGHLY recommended. I couldn't have done it without them!

We hired Swoon Events for the month of coordination for our wedding which finally happened in October 2021 after postponing from October 2020. I can honestly say that Alana was one of the best decisions and investments we made to ensure our wedding goes smoothly, runs on time, and alleviates the stress that comes with wedding planning! I had been on the search for a coordinator whose personality would click with mine and after speaking with several planners, Alana was the clear winner, first and foremost she was kind and genuine and made me feel so calm and comfortable! As an anxious bride, it was important to me to ensure that my planner cared about the details of the weddings as much as I did and Alana helped guide me through the process and her expert knowledge was extremely helpful in understanding timelines and events. Alana created a timeline for the day of the wedding and coordinated with all of the vendors leading up to the event which took off a lot of stress from me. She put me at ease and I’m so grateful for everything she has done leading up to and on our wedding day! Postponing the wedding was difficult but with Alana’s guidance and support we were able to see the bigger picture and in the end we had the wedding of our dreams. There are so many examples of times that Alana was right there when I had questions, or helping me get into my dress, or calmly and effectively putting out fires that can happen on the wedding day. Sarah also fantastic and ensured that the decor details from other vendors at the hall were executed as expected and carried out my vision for the room. Swoon events is an extremely professional, capable, sophisticated and passionate industry leader. If you are planning a wedding and thinking about hiring a planner, I encourage you to because you deserve a day nothing short of perfect. And if you do hire a planner, I encourage you to hire Swoon Events because I am so glad that I did, my wedding day was perfectly coordinated and executed and Alana was right there when I needed anything, from styling my invitation suite details, to helping the bridesmaids film a TikTok, to helping with calling out the shot lists, to ensuring the venue looked exquisite! Alana and her team were a pleasure to work with! 1,000,000/10 highly recommend!

Best wedding planner in the 6ix (and the world)! If it were possible to formulate all of the greatest qualities that make the perfect wedding planner, it would look like Swoon Events. I can guarantee that you won’t find a better wedding planner than them. From the minute that my wife and I started working with Alana, it was clear that she was the best of the best. Alana was extremely easy to work with, sweet, understanding, and quick to adjust with our changing needs as a result of the pandemic. Due to the ongoing changes in the COVID restrictions we had to make a lot of last-minute modifications – which Alana was extremely effective in executing. Her team took care of even the smallest details and made sure that the entire night ran smoothly and to perfection. Our wedding was the most beautiful night because of Alana – it looked stunning. Most importantly, we did not need to worry about any of the details because we completely trusted that Alana had everything under control. We cannot recommend Alana more highly, as both an incredible wedding planner and human being. If you need a superhero wedding planner, Swoon Events is what you’re looking for. People are still talking about our wedding.

So much praise for Alana at Swoon Events! She was referred by a friend, but I knew it was meant to be as soon as we met! We clicked instantly and she quickly became my go-to for all things wedding. Alana was always on the ball - taking care of every detail, often before I even asked. My now-husband and I both work demanding jobs with long hours and there is absolutely no way we would have been able to plan our wedding without her. Alana is responsive, knowledgeable, well-connected in the industry, patient and truly just one of the most lovely people to be around, always smiling, positive and going the extra mile.
