Shani and her team were an enormous help to me onsite for my 100-person, backyard potluck wedding. From our initial phone chat, I could tell that Shani was the right choice, as she was confident that she could handle the onsite coordination for a large potluck. Shani was very helpful in my planning stages, letting me know what she needed from me in the lead-up to the event to ensure it would run smoothly, and providing terrific bonus tips and support along the way. Shani was a pleasure to work with, and managed with an impressive ability to stay calm under pressure! I would hire her again if I was throwing another big party.

Shani was absolutely awesome from start to finish! She helped make sure that our wedding day (and everything leading up to it!) was flawless. I really liked that she was the first point of contact for all of our vendors as it took a lot off of our plate. She even offered to make us pew bows for the church when we found out that it was too late to order them on our own. I would highly recommend Shani to anyone looking to plan a wedding or event, I will definitely use her again in the future.

Shani was literally a god sent for me during the whole wedding planning process and wedding day! Living so far away from my wedding venue would of made things so hard if I didn’t have the help of Shani. Shani is kind, hard working, organized, creative and very passionate. We had many scheduled phone calls (which I will now miss) to go over wedding details and exchanged many emails. Shani always wanted to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted and was always willing to go the extra mile and reach out to various different people and vendors for me. She was extremely organized and made sure to send me spread sheets on costs and monthly check lists, which I really found helpful. So many of my wedding guests reached out to me after the wedding and all expressed how beautiful everything looked and how much fun they had. Our outdoor tent wedding on the water turned out even more beautiful than I could of ever imagined. Shani and her team our extremely reliable and I would highly recommend her for any occasion! Our initial day-of-coordinator backed out on us with less than a month to our wedding. We selected Dion Events quickly thereafter and Shani was amazing to deal with. Her professionalism was top notch. Very quick response times as well. In less than a week after initially agreeing to use Dion events, Shani had come by for a site visit, had day of schedule completed and touched based with our vendors. On the day-of she took care of everything. We even had a small mishap with our wedding cake but Shani and her assistant jumped quickly into action and fixed the issue. She was on top of things throughout the day and into the evening. Shani made our day even more special! I would recommend Dion events to anyone looking for day-of-coordination!
