Neat little place for little kids party. They are very strict with party times. They only give you 2 hours and when 10 minutes are left they come to remind you. The young lady said to me that this is my 10 minutes warning to clear the pay room. I told her that we are on schedule and that would be no problem. I then told them that the word "warning" was not appropriate they should instead say 10 minutes reminder, because it sounds better. I was not offended but I thought I should point that out to them . Very nice place for kids party. Lots of fun for them.

A super clean bowling alley with 5 or 10 pin options. Staff is very friendly bathrooms are clean, five pin bowling is super fun as it’s the first time I’ve ever played it. Highly recommend if in the area since there’s not a lot going on in Barrie. are staying at a local ski resort and the rain sent us looking for family fun options. About a 15 minute drive from horseshoe

Don't bother going if your child has a doctor's note and valid health concerns that are exacerbated by wearing a mask. Tom "doesn't care" and we were removed from the establishment. Notwithstanding, we were the only bowlers there. "The Human Rights Code explicitly prohibits discrimination based on a disability, and it is likely that most conditions preventing someone from wearing a mask would be considered disabilities by the law. The Ontario Human Rights Commission has taken the position that someone who cannot wear a mask must be accommodated up to the point of undue hardship, and cannot be denied service completely."

I tried to book a Lane ahead of time but the website kept crashing. So we went to see if we could bowl and though there seemed to be many open lanes. The guy at the counter told me we couldn't bowl and they were full and I shouldn't just show up there. He was very rude and I had 4 young boys with me.

Over $100 for 5 people to bowl two games (plus food and drinks)...very expensive!!! There were plenty of lanes open yet we were side by side with other large groups. Some rude staff. Bad experience. Won't go back.

Worse experience visiting here. Nobody was on the doors to greet (Although they say to wait to get checked for vaccinated). Went inside looking for someone and luckily there was one employee Tom (Calls himself Manager) didnt know how to check vaccination card and refused us to do bowlimg. I mean if you dont know how to check vaccination cards and talk to customer nicely whats the points of being Manager. Wont recommend anyone to here to just waste your precious time.

We didn't even finish our game because our daughter accidentally dropped a ball on her finger, but that wasn't the fault of Bowlerama. The staff here were great and this was a nice, clean bowling alley. I would definitely recommend it for either 10 pin or 5 pin. The staff was very helpful when my toddler daughter fell and crushed her finger under a 5 pin ball she was carrying. The team at the bowling alley was very understanding and lots of help getting us out of there fast and safely. I also noticed as we were leaving they responded very fast to getting the blood cleaned up properly with gloves and proper equipment. They seemed to have great proper training to deal with such a situation that doesn't probably come up too often there. She was wearing proper bowling shoes just got too excited, slipped and caught her finger just the wrong way. One trip to emerge and one stitch later she is doing fine. Many thanks, Mandi

Relaxed atmosphere, quick service, and good snacks. There are some more substantial meals as well if you'd like. The hardware for the pins is occasionally faulty, but employees will be quick to help you out.

Used to be a fun place to go, but the prices to bowl have gone too high, and the place isn't as clean as it used to be. $60.00 for an hour and 20 minutes, plus the shoes? Come on, this is gouging plain and simple. Also, there are always issues with the pool tables and gaming area. Not happy with how everything is broken, all the time.

Exactly what you expect from a bowling alley that has been around for decades. The lanes mess up from time to time, but that is easily overcome by doing a reset of that player's turn. The food is neither great nor terrible. The staff is friendly and the cleanliness is good.

I went bowling on a busy Saturday night. The staff were really nice and accommodating and got our party of 4 a lane earlier than anticipated considering how busy it was. The lane we got was clean and everything worked as expected. We stayed for about 2 hours and played 3 games of 5 pin. It was really fun and others around seemed to be enjoying themselves quite a lot as well. The price was fairly reasonable if you split the cost of the lane between the party. The only reason I gave a 4/5 is because the whole experience felt very dated. It seems to not have changed at all since I last went in the 90's. This can be nostalgic for some but for me it shows a lack of investment to stay current. All in all I had a great time out with our party and would definitely go back to have a fun few hours with some friends. Maybe next time I'll try some of their food/drinks.

We visited Bowlerama Barrie last weekend while in the area and we have nothing but good things to say about the staff and the establishment. Staff was pleasant, welcoming, and very quick to come over and fix any minor problems we had on the lanes. Very reasonable pricing and the hourly rates make it easy to plan how long you'd like to bowl. Managed to squeeze in 6 games each with 2 bowlers (5-pin and 10-pin), without feeling like we were rushed at all. We will certainly be returning to Bowlerama Barrie next time we are in town, and we'll be recommending this place to others.

One of the most amazing bowling places to go to!! You can book birthday parts here there's a mini arcade area for your kids to go and play. There is glow and dance lights for big parties. You can also get into bowling teams and compete your way to the top of the leader boards!! Get your family and friends and come have some fun!!! Best place ever!!!

Have gone twice with my wife and both times they said they had no lanes available. Both times we were there before 8pm and were told that we'd have to wait till midnight. Both times there were at least 4 lanes empty. When asked they said the lanes were reserved. I suggest maybe stating on the website that reservations are required or at least tell ppl that show up that they should reserve. That way they don't try coming back without a reservation. Staff just seemed that they didn't care.

Had my daughters birthday party here today Saturday feb 24 @130, the place was crowded but super clean. The men at the shoe counter were very helpful and friendly and patient while we were trying to figure out all the kids sizes. Our party host (I sadly forget her name) but she was very sweet and helpful. Made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. The price was also amazing!

So thrilled for the safety precautions this establishment are taking! I was here three days ago, and watched a young lady sit with her mask around her chin, long after eating or drinking. An employee went over to remind her to fix her mask, and when she noticed the employee, she placed her mask back on but became belligerent towards the employee, and shouting at him when he was only doing his job, and considering the safety of his other patrons! I want to commend that gentleman for his professionalism and patience. Especially when having to deal with a self entitled member of the public! Thank you for ensuring my family’s health and safety while in your establishment, and also the health and safety of your hard working colleagues! Hats off to you! And masks ON ????????

Tons of fun. My daughter had a great time, although you may want to book earlier if you don't want ten pin. Its a very heavy ball for younger kids and teens as well. They are good about protecting everyone requiring double vaccination before being allowed to play. Makes good sense.

I have been to a lot of things during covid and never have a met a place like this. Gyms, bars whatever nothing was as rude as this place. The owner has no appreciation for the people who are out fighting to keep businesses like this alive. All that said I will not be back. I was super out of breath bowling with my mask on and no one around. All to be embarrassed and disrespected in front of everyone because I lower for mask for a quick breath.

So annoyed with this place tonight. We had 2 lanes and 12 people. Each lane was $32 plus tax, total was $71. I asked to divide $71 by 12 people so that each family could then pay per person (so my family of 4 would owe $24) and they refused to allow us to do so resulting in confusion and frustration with the payments. Also when I reserved, I was never told that it wouldn't be glow in the dark because there was a league party. And finally....one of the lanes broke down and that group didn't get to finish their game. Not coming back here any time soon.

Some friends and I wanted to go bowling so we looked on the website and decided on the Barrie Bowlerama. It didn't seem like it would be too busy on a Thursday night, and nothing was posted on their website suggesting otherwise. We showed up around 6:45pm and we were told we wouldn't be given a lane until 10:00pm!! The place was nearly empty but apparently it was "league night", and we still couldn't get even one lane. Do not go here. Not worth it. I've never been to an alley that closes every single lane. That's simply not a good business practise. They've lost a customer.

Spontaneous night out bowling with the kids. Few quirks that went wrong with equipment etc. Manager and staff did their best to deal with it. Made it all good. Good job folks. Had a good time and will be back. Thank you.

Absolutely terrible service! They had malfunctioning lanes which were not fixed and we still had to pay for. Then when we wanted to go into the arcade area to play DDR we were refused entry because it was apparently a 19+ area even though a family with children was there playing pool... I really hope the owner takes a second look at the staff they hire. I will never return to this location nor would I recommend it to anyone.

My boyfriend and I went to Bowlerama on a Friday night to use the Pool tables which are scheduled to be open til Midnight. We took a cab cause of course we were had a few drinks prior and when we got there around 8:30 it was roped off. We went to the ladies behind the front counter who said it was closed early for cleaning. I asked what cleaning needed to be done as it looked spotless already, the said they had to mop the floors. Okay can we go in for a hour at least I asked but they rudely said no. It takes you over 3 hours to mop a floor?! I asked if we could wait they said the floor would be wet so we couldn't go in. I asked to speak to a manager about it cause we just came all this way and they said he was bowling so I couldn't speak with anyone and the other manager was in the mall somewhere. We were going to wait til the manager came back but out of spite they brought out the mop bucket and started that second. They have horrible customer service and we wasted over $30 in transit. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!

Overall a decent bowling alley, unless your a league bowler who wants to practice during the day. The manager refuses to oil lanes so going there to practice is a waste of time. Don't understand why they refuse to work with their customers and not make money which seems like the point off having a business.
