We just had our wedding about a week ago and Jessica is, in a word, amazing! It was the best night we've ever had, everything we've ever imagined or wanted, and 10000% completely stress free. Originally we had hired her on for partial planning, but halfway through we realised it was so worth it to pay a little extra to have her organise the rest of the stuff. My husband and I are not the most creative types, so it was great having Jess help create our vision. Because Jess was so experienced in what she does, she helped answer a lot of vendor-specific questions since she has worked with a lot of them before. But the most impressive part about working with Jess was the final timeline that she had disseminated amongst the vendors and wedding party. Everything was so perfectly organised and everyone showed up on time. We even had time to relax before the ceremony because we were actually ahead of schedule. Our wedding party all knew their roles and I cannot emphasize enough how on time it all went. Those who had a chance to meet Jess at our wedding have told us what a difference our wedding was because of our planner. I honestly don't think we could have pulled this off without her. It was so stress-free that I didn't even get any stress pimples before the wedding (which is always a bonus!). I really can't say enough good things about her - thank you so much Jess for the perfect wedding!

After interviewing a handful of planners for same-day coordination, we chose Jess without hesitation (and even upgraded our scope to partial planning). Many of the planners we met felt either too junior / old, too traditional, too by the book, or too expensive. Jess has the right mix of industry experience, maturity, and professionalism, balanced with creativity, trendiness, and a great sense of style. Working with her throughout the process was definitely like working a girlfriend with great recommendations. I am an admitted total control freak and Jess did an amazing job of letting me run in circles when needed and stepping in to guide me when she could see me faltering. In the end, our wedding was so beautiful and exactly what I had envisioned! Thank you Jess for making our big day so perfect and special!

I attended a wedding Jessica coordinated a couple of weeks ago. From start to finish, Jessica was high strung, unorganized, and unable to take control of the large crowd. She is also extremely rude and dismissive when asked questions, and clearly unable to handle stressful situations (which should be the norm for wedding planners given the sensitivity of such an event). In knowing my friend's vision for the day, and seeing how the day was starting to unfold, I immediately went into PM mode and started picking up the slack to the point where guests were asking me if I was the wedding planner. Jessica did not organize or direct guests following the ceremony, she ran off to notify the Bride and Groom of small issues throughout the day, and took an extremely reactive approach to any hiccup instead of helping to fix the situation. She also decided to eat her lunch while I helped clean up centre-pieces and move tables around. I completely understand that the day will never be perfect, but with Bisous Events, you absolutely do not get what you pay for and you'll end up more stressed than if you were not to hire a wedding coordinator at all.

We waited until a month or two before the wedding to decide on a day-of-coordinator and hiring Jessica was one decision we never looked back on. Jessica and I hit it off the moment we met - she is friendly yet professional, has a great sense of style, and really tries to get to know you and your vision for the big day. She went through all our plans and ideas to ensure she understood what we expected on the wedding day and I liked that she made suggestions for not only logistics, but also little decor ideas that I missed or didn't even think of. She also wasn't afraid to voice her opinion on her experiences, as she wants only the best for your big day. She is very passionate about what she does and you can see it through her work ethic and overall attitude when corresponding with her. I had no problem relying on her to get things done and she was super responsive throughout the entire process. As the previous reviewer mentioned - it really felt like Jessica was a friend at my wedding and not just a planner. Thanks so much for all your hard work!

When my husband (!) and I finalized the plans for our wedding, we knew we cared about a seamless wedding, with personal touches, that we also personally could enjoy with our guests. We weren't sure we needed a wedding coordinator, but thank heavens we got one! Jessica from Bisous was a pleasure to work with. She is so organized and well versed in the Toronto wedding industry, that we immediately knew we had made the right decision. She offered great suggestions around our wedding and vision, while never losing sight of what we as a couple wanted. We had a few meetings with her, in her studio and at our venue, which was extremely helpful and again put us at ease. We got married at the great hall, which being a somewhat non-traditional venue, had many unique things to consider. She considered aspects of the day we haven't even thought of, created a great schedule and also liaised consistently with all our vendors, to make the day run so smoothly. I actually can't praise her enough for how seamless and smooth everything went all day - we got to enjoy time with our guests without ever worrying about something getting done, because Jessica was already on top of it. For a couple who literally tried to DIY most things, she also was so so helpful at setting up our venue with our vision and literally took our ideas to the next level, making everything look absolutely amazing. We got so many compliments on how beautiful our tables looked and how laid back the event felt. If you're not sure about whether you need a coordinator, I encourage you to chat with Jessica and consider getting one. Because we're hopefully only going to have one wedding there were tons of things that we didn't know anything about, and her expertise and advice went a long way!!! She honestly made our day, and our guests day, so much more enjoyable! Cannot recommend enough!

This was our first time working with an event planner and Bisous Events was everything we wished for. Pandemic forced us to change our plan and date which made their job tougher than it should be and they managed it with a flair. Our event, a birthday party for a toddler was not a usual event for Bisous Events, however they executed it flawlessly. Jessica Auvray, the Creative Director of Bisous Events patiently heard all our requests, discussed with us for hours and came up with a design and plan to realize our dream. They transformed the venue with custom decor, silverwares, furnitures, desserts and the list goes on. We were pleasantly surprised by the fine and detailed touches. All our guests were super impressed and pleased with the perfection. I can confidently sign her up for my next event already…thanks Jessica and team Bisous.

Finding out about Bisous Events was the luckiest discovery I could have possibly made. When I began planning my wedding, I saw their work on Instagram one day and bookmarked some photos as inspiration, and kept going back to gawk at them. I had never considered having a wedding planner, but when my wedding was six months away, I had a panic attack. With so many decisions to make, family pressures/(strong) opinions, and budgeting anxieties, I felt I had lost control. I no longer knew what I wanted for my wedding; if I was on time, too late or too early to do things; and lost confidence in my abilities to put it together. I went back to the Instagram photos from Bisous Events, and decided to contact them. I am so grateful that I did. Jessica Auvray helped me every step of the way. Although she was planning other weddings at the same time, I still felt like I had her on my side 100%. She is incredibly organized, very responsive, has great taste in decor - she has the ability to make your wedding exude a feeling, not just make it look pretty - and is bossy in the best possible way. She also seems to know the most stylish vendors in the city in order to pull the whole look together, including the smallest of details. On the day of our wedding, we already knew in advance that we didn't have to worry about logistics. Jessica and her assistant ran the show and ensured everything went as planned. I couldn't have imagined having the wedding we had if it weren't for Jessica. Throughout the six months of working with her, I also got to know her as a person and she is simply lovely. She is thoughtful, encouraging, supportive and patient. These are qualities that I don't think wedding planners necessarily need to have in order to do a good job, however they are qualities that make her stand out. I felt like I had a friend helping me. In short: she rocks. If you are in need of a planner, or even if you don't think you need one, I highly recommend Bisous Events.

My husband and I were married on Saturday, June 9, 2018 and had hired Bisous Events as our wedding coordinator. I have previous experience in event management, so I wasn’t looking for a wedding planner but really needed someone to take care of the details leading up to the event and especially on the day of. I found Bisous Events listed as the wedding coordinator for a beautiful wedding that I saw in Wedding Bells magazine and I knew I had to reach out. My experience with Jessica from the beginning was very professional and welcoming. She was incredibly organized, providing me with several detailed lists of the specifics that she required from us to execute our event, and made it known that it was her priority to ensure that we simply enjoyed our day. She was also very flexible for our meetings in terms of where and when to meet. I would absolutely recommend Bisous Events to anyone who is looking for a company that is professional yet personal, detail-oriented, creative, and customer service driven to execute the details of their wedding. Thank you, Jessica, Kathryn and team, for allowing us the opportunity to enjoy our special day; it wouldn’t have been as stress-free as it was without your attention and support!

I can't speak to Jessica as a wedding planner, but I can absolutely say I would never recommend her as a day-of-wedding coordinator. She has been a nightmare to work with, is extremely defensive, and unable to acknowledge when she is in the wrong. Our wedding took place over two days, and Jessica did not show up for the entire second day (wedding ceremony/reception). Her dog fell ill the night before, and we completely understand this was an unfortunate circumstance and that dogs are considered to be a part of the family too. However, in such an event, Jessica did not notify me that she wouldn't be attending at all. It was only when I texted her in the morning that I found out. She also did not send a comparable coordinator which it explicitly states in the contract. We paid for 10 hours of experienced lead coordinator time, but she sent just two assistant level staff (our contract had an assistant to be with Jessica regardless), and neither of which were on our calls with Jessica since we started working with her. A number of things went wrong and our friends and venue coordinator had to pick up the slack to ensure we had a great day. Our issue is that we paid upfront for services that we did not receive. Following the wedding, we asked for a partial refund, and Jessica flatly refused, instead insisting that she should have charged us for other things (that we did not ask her to do, nor was brought up as being effort for her at the time). She completely dismissed our concerns and was negative, and condescending which is hard to believe given the situation. Following the event, multiple vendors commented about the lack of experience and general knowledge of the events from the Bisous Events team. Key vendors were not even notified of the fact that she would not be in attendance for any part of the day. Following the wedding, we notified Jessica that we consulted with a lawyer about her breach of contract but that we'd like to resolve the issue fairly and amicably. Jessica responded through her lawyer; she threatened to sue us for defamation from fair comments made by OTHER people at our wedding and only offered us a small compensation if we agreed to be legally bound to never post negatively online about our poor experience. We can not believe how unprofessional Bisous Events is in their treatment of customers with fair claims and concerns, and will not be intimidated as we are not sure how many people she has potentially threatened to sue to have a negative review removed. If you're thinking about Jessica for day-of-coordination, definitely consider a different vendor. We are happy to connect directly should there be any questions about any part of this review.

We were recommended Bisous events by our photographer. Once I checked out the website I was pleased to see they offered partial panning. Bisous Instagram was magical and portrayed beautifully executed events. I was nervous planning a wedding in only 6 months especially when I did not exactly know what I wanted. Jessica truly gave vision for the design of our wedding. I could not of imagined it any other way. She knew what I wanted before I even knew what I wanted. When the day arrived I was not stressed, nor worried about any of the details. I fully trusted Jessica and her team. And, I certainly was not wrong too. As I walked into our ceremony and reception I was blown away by how everything looked. It was truly breathtaking. All details flawless. During the planning process Jessica was easy to talk to, she gave excellent creative direction, and was always detail oriented. Anyone who has the pleasure to work with Jessica is in great hands. She will ensure your dreams come true and make the process fun along the way. She has amazing talents!

We were recommended Bisous Events by another wedding planner who was fully booked. We hired Jessica for wedding coordination. We had eight months to plan our wedding and I knew from the get-go that I needed someone to make sure everything ran smoothly leading up to the big day. I had a good feeling about Jessica when I first exchanged emails with her and after talking to her on the phone; I knew that I wanted to go with her as our wedding coordinator and no one else. My now-husband was reluctant to hire someone for wedding coordination as he didn’t see value, but eventually he saw the usefulness of having someone coordinate all the details and ensuring everything ran smoothly and on time the day of. She is so friendly, professional, has a great sense of style and is super organized. Jessica also did our flowers (bouquet, centerpieces, boutonnieres and corsages). She went above and beyond with sourcing the vases for our centerpieces and I loved how they turned out. My husband and I were very appreciative of the fact that Jessica had a wonderful assortment of rentals that we could rent for the big day. The big day went off without a hitch. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. If there were any hiccups, we didn’t see any as Jessica and her assistant Hillary took care of every little detail and possibility. Kudos to you Jessica! It was a pleasure working with you. I would say the best investment I’ve ever made was hiring a wedding coordinator. I highly recommend Jessica to my friends and family. If I had to do it all over again, I would have hired Jessica for partial planning instead of wedding coordination, given the amount of work it takes to plan a wedding!

We had the best time working with Bisous Events for our wedding this past June of 2019! When we started the planning process, we knew we wanted some sort of assistance as we had no idea where to even begin. We were initially thinking about hiring someone to assist with just day-of coordination, but then I realized that planning a wedding is a full-time job – definitely didn’t want another one of those! We initially met Jessica at our friend’s wedding a couple of years ago, of which we were both in the wedding party. We loved her work at that wedding, and she came highly recommended. What to say...Bisous Events run by Jessica the best wedding planner we could have possibly asked for. We were recommended to her by our venue, as we had selected a venue first. From the first phone call onwards, nothing but the finest level of integrity and professionalism. She was very quick to reply for any query. We initially thought to hire her for a limited planning, but after meeting with her we were so impressed we elected to hire her for a full wedding planning. We did not regret this decision for a single second, and it is the best decision we made regarding our wedding. She is so proactive and on the ball. Everything was organized, leaving us with zero stress when the wedding came round. The event venue was The Great Hall that required all rentals including tables, chairs, glasses, etc. Jessica coordinated all these services. She kept us up to date the perfect amount - so we felt involved, but not burdened in the slightest. We knew exactly what was going on the entire time - yet felt completely at ease with her great organizational skills and vision. The vendors she suggested were fantastic and we are sure we saved money as she was able to suggest some great options that fit out budget. The wedding went off without a single hitch. The best night of our lives, and we owe a lot of it to Jessica. Everything was sorted to the final detail, she also designed the whole theme based on a few ideas for us, and it was BEAUTIFUL. She went above and beyond in every fashion. As an example, she was supposed to stay until 10:30 pm the night of the wedding, she ended up staying until 1 AM, just to ensure things were perfect. Not to mention, everything was done within our budget Really, truly - if you want a wedding planner, look no further - Bisous Events and Jessica are a must.

We hired Jess as our day-of coordinator for our wedding and I could not imagine our big day without her. Each consultation with Jess leading up to the day was extremely productive. We went through every possible detail and she always used her insight to guide us through points we hadn’t even considered. With 8 months left to go before our wedding, we found ourselves overwhelmed with who to choose on a few aspects of the wedding (i.e. choosing a vendor for invitations and day of stationery as well as rental companies for cutlery, plates and furniture). We knew that we wouldn’t need a full wedding planner as the big items were out of the way, and day of coordination was almost too little for what we felt we still needed to do. When we came across the partial wedding planning package for Bisous Events, we felt like it had exactly what we wanted! Within a week, we had a meeting with Jessica to discuss what we’d done, what we still had left to do, and how she could fill the gaps. She asked for our wedding inspiration and what we envisioned, and set us up with various vendors in a timely manner. Even in our discussions with these new vendors, Jessica was always a part of the conversations and provided her thoughts and opinions when we were unable to make a decision – she was able to see the big picture and how various aspects would work together in our venue space. On the day of the wedding and even in the couple of weeks prior, it was clear one of our best decisions (vendor wise) was choosing Jessica. She was able to coordinate the numerous vendors to ensure that the day went off without any issues. We were given a detailed wedding timeline in the days prior to the wedding, and looking back, the timeline as written was almost exactly the same as what happened on the day of. All of our guests in attendance had nothing but good things to say about our wedding day, and so much of the success can be attributed to Jessica who made sure that the wedding reflected us through and through. It should also be noted that Jessica got married herself just two weeks prior to our wedding, - how she managed to have this personal time and still handle our wedding, we’ll never know! She was able to tackle everything with a positive attitude and a smile on her face, and we would absolutely recommend Jessica. So many guests commented on how relaxed I was throughout the day, and it was because I knew everything was under control and in good hands with Jessica. Thanks again for everything Jessica, you did an amazing job!!

Jessica helped us plan our most perfect wedding day! We were recommended Bisous Events from my cousin who hired Jess for her wedding over 2 years ago. We got engaged October 2019, and she was one of the first people I called. From December 2019 – October 2020, Jessica had to plan and re-plan our wedding once the pandemic hit. We got married on October 3rd 2020, and the BEST decision we made was having a planner. At the best of times wedding planning can be very stressful and then when you layer on a pandemic, the stress level doubles! We originally planned for a wedding of 225 people, and then had to cut down to 100. Jess held our hand through the entire process and reassured us that everything was going to be okay and that our vision of a modern glam wedding was going to come to life!
