Whenever I find out I'm working with Amanda on an event, I'm thrilled! She brings a level of communication and care to every celebration that is second to none. Amanda can put together a big-picture vision while also ensuring that no small detail goes unnoticed. As a floral designer, I always feel much more confident going into an event that Amanda is planning, because I know she will be there to make sure everything will go off without a hitch. We hired Amanda to help plan our wedding this fall and I truly don’t know what we would have done without her and her team. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and patient as we navigated the extra challenges and covid-stress. We opted to do our own center pieces and decor for the wedding; we dropped everything off the morning of with a few instructions and Amanda made our vision come to life! The venue turned out more beautiful than I could have imagined and our small intimate wedding was just perfect, even despite the rainy day. Amanda’s network of vendors is amazing. Where do we even begin? We used Amanda and AJE for our wedding in the Grey Highlands/Pretty River Valley area and it was the best decision we ever made. We were building our own venue from the ground up (bringing washrooms, power, etc.) out into a farm field and Amanda made sure we covered absolutely everything. She is familiar and has great relationships with all of the local vendors, and has so much experience that nothing fazes her. I don't even know where to begin. After a terminal diagnosis in our immediate family leading to us cancelling our Banff August wedding, we started working with Amanda to bump up the date and move locations to Ontario. A few emails and calls as a group with our AB wedding planner, Amanda was able to take our original design plan and replicate it over the span of two months working together. She pulled together THE MOST perfect intimate 20 person wedding with eight days notice (everything came down to the wire working around covid restrictions). She jumped into the chaos of our lives in those moments and worked with us to ensure we were still getting our dream wedding, capturing all the little details and atmosphere. I don't know how many times I said to her "I am freaking out" or "I don't know what to do", and she handled all those moments with patience and grace, coaxing me through it. She was always a text or phone call away, and I knew I could reach out at any time for anything. I can't even begin to describe how much of a blessing it was to have Amanda go through this journey with us. I would recommend her a thousand times, and then another thousand times over.
