Hiring Shannon was the single greatest decision I've made in my life... next to marrying my husband! She has the perfect approach to event management, and has the utmost respect for all her clients. I was extremely impressed by how she was able to work with my wedding vision & style and she helped pull my wedding together into a polished and put together event. She is the organized brain that I needed during my wedding planning process. Her confidence and professionalism is astounding - all of my vendors were well informed and comfortable which made my wedding day so much more relaxed. Everything ran so smoothly on my wedding day and I know that was all thanks to Shannon. I can't say enough good stuff about All Things Love Events...thank you!

I literally cannot say enough about Shannon, she is literally the reason we were able to enjoy our day. We had quite the ride this year with planning our original wedding, rescheduling multiple times and then deciding to go through with just a small, intimate wedding and Shannon was there every step of the way. She took the time to message us all the time to check in and provide advice on what we should do which we really appreciated and it was nice to know that we had her support. When we finally made up our mind on a small wedding, Shannon was amazing. She met with us beforehand via zoom to discuss the details and she helped us through our rehearsal and then everything for the day to make it go so smooth. Even though it was a small wedding, we needed Shannon and were so grateful for her! She pays close attention to detail and made sure that the day ran smoothly. She set up our decor beautifully, handled all our vendors, made decisions that needed to be made and made sure that none of this stressed me out. I was so grateful to have Shannon as our wedding coordinator and we so appreciated all her hard work that went into making our backyard cottage wedding the most perfect day! I would HIGHLY recommend Shannon and never underestimate the need to have an amazing wedding coordinator like her for your day, no matter how big or small the wedding is. If you're reading these reviews because you're considering working with Shannon for your wedding - do it! Shannon is incredible and our wedding would not have been as perfect as it was without her! From our first meeting, Shannon was like an old friend. She is so personable, has a great sense of humour and it is obvious that this is her calling and passion. We had originally hired Shannon before Covid was a thing, and throughout all of the uncertainty and a postponement, she was so responsive to our emails and checked in with us frequently. We went ahead with a 25 person cottage wedding in July 2021 and it was everything we had dreamed of and more. It was so hard for me to picture how everything would come together and Shannon absolutely nailed my vision! We were so impressed with Shannon that we booked her again for our one year anniversary/reception next summer. I would recommend Shannon to everyone, you will not be disappointed!

Now, I've only been married once, and Shannon was our day of coordinator, so you may say "how can you judge after just one event?". I can say with confidence that Shannon is the best because all of our other vendors remarked completely independently on how organized, calm, and put together Shannon was. She impressed the folks who do weddings day in and day out. I also thought she was a rockstar, but take it from the professionals! Shannon, thank you for making our wedding day a breeze, and helping us understand all of the things that we had to do leading up to the wedding. Where do I begin, I'm one of those people who never thought I needed organizing until it was my own wedding. I had a vision and with Shannon's honesty and guidance I truly felt as though I was headed in the right direction. The wedding was everything and more than I could ever imagine. Shannon stepped up when I needed her to and even got her hands dirty (my kind of lady)! She took all of the stresses off when I needed it most and for that I am so thankful. We were introduced to Shannon through a family member and I cannot begin to describe what a great experience it was working with her. As a bride, I tried to tackle a lot of the planning on my own but truthfully, I was very unsure of how everything that we had planned would be executed on the day of. When we met Shannon for the first time, I felt immediately at ease. She traveled all the way to downtown Toronto from her usual stomping grounds up north so that she could see our venue - we were one of the first couples she worked with in the downtown area. She took the time and care to get to know us as a couple. She wasn't overwhelmed by the amount of details and random pieces of information I threw her way. She took all of my scattered planning and put together one simplified document that had all the details of the day. She was super responsive every time we emailed, texted or called her with any questions. Although we only hired her for day of coordination, she proactively made suggestions leading up to the wedding that I never even thought of, which helped make the day that much better. Both my husband and I were at ease the entire day knowing that Shannon was making sure everything was happening seamlessly behind the scenes. We were able to relax and truly soak in the moment. There are no words to explain how incredible Shannon was, not only the day of the wedding, but leading up to it as well! She was so kind and professional throughout our entire experience. Before the wedding, she contacted all my vendors to make sure everything was on track, gave me so much advice about anything wedding, and made sure nothing was forgotten! The day of the wedding, we didn't have to worry about a thing! We sat back and relaxed while Shannon kept everything on que, took care of any problems, and made sure the night ran smoothly. If we could describe Shannon with one word… it would have to be AMAZING! However, to describe Shannon with only one word does not do her and her work justice. Although Shannon and I knew each other from working together in the past, she brought the same level of professionalism as she would with any of her other clients. She has the kindest soul and was always readily available to talk me off a few ledges leading up to our wedding. We brought some REALLY non-traditional ideas to Shannon… like having all the bridesmaids on the right-hand side instead of the left, incorporating beer pong and no head table. Shannon never once tried to steer us in a different, more traditional direction – but rather encouraged our ideas and helped us bring them to life. Shannon went above and beyond for us and we truly felt relaxed on one of the most important days of our lives because of her. She talks to you in calm demeanor and carries herself with grace which reassures you that everything is going to be okay. It’s funny, at the beginning of planning our wedding, we didn’t think we needed a wedding coordinator; boy were we wrong! We honestly don’t even want to think about what our wedding day would have been like if we didn’t have Shannon there. Even the venue owner pointed out to us that Shannon was BY FAR the most organized and hardworking wedding coordinator he had ever had the pleasure of working with – and we could not agree more. It is hard to put into words how incredible Shannon is! I debated for a while whether or not I needed a coordinator, I realized quickly after chatting with Shannon that she was going to be a saviour! I couldn’t have asked for a better person to help us with the biggest day in our lives. Leading up to our wedding day she took care of organizing all the vendors and making sure everyone was on the same page, she helped me plan small details that I surely would have forgotten or never thought of in the first place. Shannon made our wedding day so absolutely stunning and enjoyable, I can't thank her enough for all of her help and guidance. We planned for 30 guests (to be covid safe) at a family cottage, Shannon's decorating and ideas made the space so enhanced and gorgeous. We still talk about how amazing the cottage looked done up as though we were at a resort, and how we wish it always looked like it did that day. We had a couple possible issues... the rental bar cancelled a couple of days prior to the wedding, and our priest had some interesting ides for our ceremony and was quite challenging to work with. But Shannon took complete control, she found us a new bar rental option that was even nicer than the previous one, and made sure that the cermony would be everything that we imagined it would be. As a teacher I can honestly say that her planning and organizational skills are incredible. She is someone who is super professional yet feels like she's a member of your family and should have been invited to your wedding all along. She is SO adored and appreciated by my family that my mom even added an image of her setting up for the day to the wedding album. Shannon honestly went well beyond what I would have expected her role to be and I am so so happy that she was our planner!

It took me a long time to try and come up with the words that could even come close to explaining how beyond amazing Shannon is and what she meant to us. The truth is there are no words that can. We did a complete DIY tent backyard wedding. I spent over a year collecting items, planning the decor I wanted and "special stations" (whiskey & cigar bar, candy bar ect). About 8 months out I had a complete panic attack. We had moved and I was now 7 hours away from the wedding location. I had all the items and ideas but had no clue how to pull it all together. Enter Shannon. From my first conversation with her I knew she was my missing piece to pull it off. She understood that even the tiniest detail was as important to us as the big ones. She helped me locate vendors for the remaining missing pieces (no matter how specific the piece I was looking for was). Since I was so far away she even went above and beyond as to go and look at some vendors for me in person. She listened to every idea I had and helped me make it a reality. Her honesty is refreshing in a business where everyone tells you what they think you want to hear, she will let you know if something isn't working quite right. She then was able to provide me with several other options that would make my idea work even better. She was even able to advise me on several occasions how to deal/communicate with some problematic vendors I was dealing with. She radiates polite professionalism but can be firm for you when its required. Shannon is one crazy busy lady but you would never know it because she always found time to communicate with me. She always made me feel like a top priority. Shannon invests her whole self into every wedding she takes on and cares as much about your big day as you do. Her love for her job shows in every detail. She helped me with EVERYTHING: vendor organization, seating chart, tent layout, "to do & completed" lists, day of schedule, day before coordination, day of set up, gorgeous place settings...her tasks were endless. Day before and day of Shannon made sure everything/everyone went through her. This meant any bump or hiccup was taken care of without me even knowing it happened. She wants nothing but for the whole process to be smooth and with the least amount of stress possible on the bride and groom. Her set up was flawless. She truly listens to and learns your style over the months of working with you. She took all my pieces and incorporated them perfectly in place. Bottom line she is the reason our big day was beyond perfect. I could not imagine having done it without her. Shannon takes your dreams and makes them a reality you will not kind a more patient and kind planner out there!!!!!
