I had the pleasure to work with Ms. Jay, who is a truly wonderful human being. My family didn't realize how much we needed to be guided and organized for my sisters wedding. There were considerations that Ms. Jay was able to provide us that really made the wedding all that more special and run smoothly. Ms. Jay was easily reachable, and actually was calling our family more than we called her to remind us that she was working on certain aspects behind the scenes or for reassurance for the upcoming event. On one of the events, the decorations were not exactly what was asked for, and Ms. Jay literally got onto a ladder and started climb, sew and fix the decor to our families satisfaction. We were floored and extremely grateful for all of the kindness and care that Ms. Jay provided to my family and I. I wish that I could give more than just 5 stars to this wonderful soul. I will continue to recommend and suggest Sunrise Events for all of my friends, family and future events.

Jay and her team at Sunrise are unbelievably good at what they do. Do not hesitate in hiring them for your big events. I had a couple unique venues for my wedding week and Jay was able to turn the events into huge successes despite some major issues we encountered on the day of for each event. Needless to say, she is a life saver. Jay made our wedding week exactly what I envisioned and more. Jay’s ability to deal with any problems that arise (small or large) without panicking is incredible. She takes care of any situation that comes her way without involving the client. Also, she goes above and beyond to make events even more fun. She goes out of her way to make sure her clients are happy. I am happy to call Jay my friend after all of this. My wife and I hired Sunrise Events as our wedding planner. We ended up having to do a lot of the planning ourselves - poor communication, extremely unresponsive and does not deliver on promises.

I am disappointed with my experience with Sunrise Events. I had hired Jay for my wedding which was set to take place this summer based on some interactions with her during my brother’s wedding. At this wedding, Jay seemed very organized and people oriented and after contacting previous clients of hers for reference checks, I hired her. My wedding was unfortunately cancelled and I notified Jay of this right away. She offered her help to me during this stressful time; however soon after, Jay became very hard to get a hold of. If I contacted her, she wouldn’t reply to me for weeks when all I was looking for was an update on vendor deposits etc. I now haven’t heard from Jay since January 1st despite having messaged her countless times. In September, when I notified Jay that my wedding was cancelled, she repeatedly offered her help. At that time, if she was going to be unable to help me, she could have easily conveyed that she would have to end our contract and that she was no longer able to help me and I would have respected that. Instead, she repeatedly offered her help and then disappeared. It has been a very difficult few months and trying to get a hold of my event planner should not have been on my to do list.

Terrible. Don't even bother hiring them. Jay does not even show up to your event. Undercuts the competition and then the team stands around at your event to send text messages.
