My husband and I planned our wedding together with Margaux from Filosophi Events all the way from the Philippines. I can't tell you how easy and seamless everything was. She's creative, resourceful, and will go out of her way just to make your (sometimes crazy/difficult) ideas come to life. We absolutely loved all our vendors and on the actual day of the wedding, we both enjoyed ourselves immensely. Hands down one of the best experiences we'll ever have thanks to such a dedicated team of wonderful people.

I knew when I chose Filosophi that I was choosing to spend a little more money for what I perceived as the top choice for our wedding planners... and it was worth every penny. We had a 200 person wedding and by having Erin and her team there I was actually able to enjoy my every minute! I am very type A so I knew I needed someone who was more on the ball than I am, and they definitely were. I was so relaxed that everything was taken care of. During the ceremony I noticed that they had taken care of a few things that I had forgotten about in the excitement, and they did a much better job of everything than I ever could have. On top of it all, Erin is a very chill presence to have with you on the day!

Coordinating a wedding is a tough job and Shirley made sure everything went smoothly without a hitch. My mom was particularly impressed with how everything they set up was packed perfectly back where it was found. My husband and I had an amazing and fun day because we didn't have to worry about anything; it was all taken care of! If we were to do it again we would hire them every time!

When Lisa and I started planning our wedding at Sonora Resort in BC, we didn't think we needed a wedding planner and that we could "manage" it all ourselves. The resort however required us to have a planner as they had limited capacity to manage all the events and needs. They referred us to Filosophi and Erin Bishop which in retrospect was the best thing that could have happened. We immediately knew we were in good hands from the first introduction to Erin. Erin is an entrepreneur at heart and is in relentless pursuit of providing the highest level of service. She took a personal interest in our wedding planning and quickly identified all the things that needed to happen to pull of an amazing event. We had no idea what we had gotten ourselves into having a remote wedding in Canada while living in France. I can honestly say in the year of planning there was not a moment I was worried or concerned about Erin making our wedding a special and amazing event. She managed all the interactions with the resort, helped all of our guest with travel planning and the customized travel needs as the only way to the resort is by private seaplane, boat or helicopter. She connected us and facilitate all the discussions with vendors from flowers, to video, to decoration, etc. She even helped plan the menu for all the meals (an entire weekends worth) directly with the resort. When we showed up to the island there was nothing we had to do but enjoy ourselves and our guest. She went so far as to ensure there was a full-time babysitter for our youngest child and she actually ironed and steamed all our wedding clothes by herself! Not to mention that she coordinated barges and transport for all our things and vendors things to the resort. I could go on and on but there was no greater use of our money for the wedding. Erin is professional as they come but she is also a great individual and someone we now consider a friend. She makes miracles happen for so many people. You will not go wrong with Filosophi. An amazing group of people!

My husband and I would highly recommend the “Take Over” service from Filosophi. Our experience with Rebecca as our day-of-coordinator was absolutely spectacular. Rebecca and her team went out of their way to help us with every last detail and make the day run smoothly. Our first meeting with her felt like we were meeting with a friend. She was friendly, organized, and very knowledgeable about everything wedding related. Leading up to the wedding she answered all my texts and emails whenever I had any question about the planning process. She gave great vendor recommendations and helped us with any problems we had. When I was having difficulty getting a vendor to respond to me, she stepped in and got me a response within a few hours! She helped to ease a lot of wedding planning stress, which was wonderful. The day of the wedding couldn’t have gone any smoother. Rebecca and her team made sure all the vendors knew where to go and what to do, made sure all the decorations were in the right place, made sure we ran on time, and did everything in between - from picking up goose poop on the field where our ceremony was located, to running to McDonalds to pick up our late night snack, to bringing 8 BBQ lighters so that we could have a sparkler getaway. Whenever something went wrong, Rebecca would fix it before I even knew there was a problem. We were able to fully enjoy our day and not worry about anything thanks to Rebecca and her team. I honestly can’t imagine having our wedding day without her. If there is one thing that you’re going to book for your wedding, book Filosophi! You won’t regret it!

Absolute top-notch world class wedding planners! We have worked so many weddings together over the years I sometimes take for granted how organized, seamless and on top of the game they really are... Everything from smaller intimate weddings to extremely lavish affairs with lots of moving pieces including building an evergreen forest in Hotel Georgia and creating a full video arcade at The Permanent. When I DJ at a Filosophi event I know they have it covered with realistic timelines, flexible schedules and the best vendors in Vancouver. Without a doubt, one of the best I've ever worked with in the wedding industry, highly recommend...

Our wedding was small, around 40 guests, and it felt like we were treated like an easy side project. Barely had any contact leading up to the event, and comments like 'you guys are my wedding that organises itself' and 'it's basically a bigger dinner party' did not make us feel particularly special. We didn't really get to know each other and I never felt like our planner really listened. After the wedding quite a few people commented on her not coming across very professional and on her casual attitude and appearance, it did look like she was wearing leggings... In the end our wedding day was still the most amazing and beautiful day ever. It was great to have someone there to run things and make sure everything was going well. It's just that after all of it I do not think it was worth the price tag.

We've only ever interviewed and worked with Erin as a wedding planner but we're glad the Universe connected us with her... because she was all we need (and beyond) to organize our express tiny COVID wedding. She put us in touch with exactly the right vendors so we didn't have to do a hundred interviews. She designed the most beautiful design for our ceremony and dinner table. She took on tasks we didn't even know we needed (bringing Bluetooth speakers for the music at the ceremony) or that we didn't want to take care of (picking up foods for the whole wedding party for lunch before the ceremony!). And she did that in 40 days with joy, grace and confidence. My now-husband calls her his "hero", because she really got us out of a stressful situation happening literally 48h before our wedding. 100% worth the investment if you want something beautiful, easy and well done without the hassle of figuring out all the small details for months on.

I can say with confidence that hiring her was the best decision we made in regards to our wedding planning. I have heard so many brides say that they did not enjoy their wedding day because they were so stressed about all of the details and logistics and I didn't experience anything but total happiness on my day because of Margaux being there. At first when we were looking for day of services, we were meeting with different vendors at such different price points that we were not sure who to go with. However, after my first meeting with Margaux I knew that I wanted her in my corner on my special day. Margaux was always there for me throughout the planning process, she was open to me reaching out to her at any time to run questions by her on logistics for the day and also she provided some really helpful vendor recommendations. 6 weeks prior to the wedding, we had our handover meeting where she essentially took the finalization planning for the day out of my hands. She started to speak directly with all of our vendors to sort out the final details, she created our entire wedding day timeline and shared this with all the key players so everyone was organized, she ran our rehearsal professionally and kept a big bridal party and big family focused, she took care of setting up the small details on the day and basically ran my whole wedding day to ensure everything went smoothly. Margaux went above and beyond (even driving me herself to my ceremony site and keeping me calm when our limo driver decided not to show up!). I am so happy we invested in a company with a strong reputation like Filosophi for our day as the professionalism that was provided was so key to our event being a success. I encourage all brides invest in Filiosophi's services as you get such great value for what you spend and it truly makes your wedding day stress free.
