I was browsing around Instagram for Wedding photographers in the Banff/Rockies area and came across Worn Leather Media page. I loved his style and gave him a call. As soon as we got to chatting I knew I had found our photographer, it was like chatting with an old friend. Dave was very helpful and in tune with getting our vision for a helicopter Elopement. Day of our wedding didn't go as planned because the Helicopter company failed to communicate with us that the only pilot that day was not licensed to fly us up to the top of the Rockies like we had hoped. Even despite our huge disappointment Dave was so encouraging and helped us overlook the downside and just make the most with what we were given. And man...let me tell you, He really made us feel like we were in a fairytale land. We got a beautiful forest ceremony right by a waterfall and Dave captured the raw beauty that was all around us. My husband and I just lost ourselves in each other while Dave did his magic. We felt comfortable (even though we usually feel awkward & are not good in front of the camera) He gave us just enough direction to get the great shots. Words can not describe how happy we were to receive our gallery and relive those gorgeous moments. Everyone I show my pictures to say the same thing about Dave's work, breathtaking, fairytale, gorgeous, romantic. And we couldn't agree more. Thank you Dave for giving us these memories to hold on to forever. We appreciate you so much!

Not only did they manage to burst through the awkward "I hate photos" exterior of my now husband on our wedding day, but they went above and beyond to ensure we had the most perfect day. I've never felt more like a princess than I did at our wedding and that is in large part thanks to these two. They are so wonderful to work with! We've had the pleasure of having Worn Leather Media shoot our proposal, engagement and wedding and we couldn't recommend them enough! Being so tall and having such a long beard, I'm not sure how Dave could make himself invisible but he photographed our proposal without me ever seeing him and was able to perfectly capture the emotion of the moment. I'm convinced that he must be a ninja! For our engagement pictures, Natalie and Dave picked the most perfect location that was quiet and had the most stunning fall colours (a rare combination in the mountains)! Somehow they managed to make our awkward selves look so natural. At our wedding, they worked ACTUAL magic, shooting not only in the rain and smoke but also the dark (!!!) and the photos are UNREAL! They are unlike anything I’ve ever seen and all of our family and friends have said the same. They truly went above and beyond! Besides being extremely talented, they're a blast to be around and their energy is infectious. We're so thankful that we've gotten them to capture such important milestones in our lives.

WOW just WOW! From the second we met Dave and Natalie I instantly felt safe and sooo incredibly comfortable. This dynamic duo brought a gorgeous energy to each and every second of our wedding day. Prior to the day they explained the areas that they thrived in and were sure to capture all of the must have's but without hesitation listened to all of our weird requests and were sure to capture everything and more!
