Ghosted us for months and stalled our wedding planning. Only after contacting the venue out of frustration did we receive a message from Julie and co stating they were longer under contract with the venue we had chosen. Not even an apology for lack of communication in their email. I understand things can be complicated during a pandemic, but neglecting to respond to a single one of our messages across a variety of platforms for months on end shows a complete disregard for their clients, and is very unprofessional.

We were a bit nervous in approaching the wedding industry (being a gay couple you just can't know how people will react) but after we met with Julie we knew we were in good hands. The entire team is so approachable (and LGBTQ+ friendly) that we loved working with each of them. From the design (that was PERFECT), to the execution of the day- our wedding was an absolute work of art. People are still commenting on how beautiful things were. Julie & her entire team are truly life savers! My now husband and I were not going to have a wedding planner but we ran into a little bit of a blip in our personal lives that were going to take up a lot of time during the planning process. So, we needed to bring someone into help. I can't even imagine how we would have planned this whole thing with all of our free time ?! During the planning process Julie's collaborative software kept everyone on track. There is a full to do list, schedule, gust address tracker, seating chart helper, and so much more. It would have been such a hassle to keep track of all that independently, but this help me keep the team updated. On the day itself Julie and her entire team (we had 4 of them) were such a pleasure to work with. We really felt like everything was under control which isn't always easy for me as a type-A personality. Honestly, what would we have done without the Julie & Co team? We hired the team for full planning and we couldn't have been happier with how we were treated. We were scared that working with a planner would mean that we didn't get a choice in our decor or who we worked with but we loved every minute and the day way totally "us". And, the day went without a single issue- that we know of anyway, I feel like Julie and the Team protected us from the "bad" of wedding planning.

We reached out to Julie & Co after we discovered how wrong we were about the ease of planning a DIY wedding, and in hindsight I only wish we had hired them for their full planning package instead of only day-of coordination (which still takes place well before the day itself). Julie and her team were so friendly and fun to work with, but they are on it when it comes to the small details. They took the time to get a sense of every aspect of our wedding, to think through any possible snags in our plans, and to understand how we might want different issues dealt with. This was a huge help the week before and on the wedding day, when we were able to focus on little last-minute tasks and then enjoy our day and our guests while they managed all the logistics, worked with our other vendors, calmly solved any issues that came up, and went well above and beyond what we expected.
