Bottom line: 100% worth every dollar, experts in the industry and exceeds all expectations! We were referred to Fidan by a friend and we had a very ambitious concept of an unconventional, unorthodox, upside-down wedding format with two venues. Also, we met Fidan just as we were relocating to live in Vancouver but the wedding was happening in Toronto a year later. We met several times intermittently in Toronto, but most of our communication was via email and FaceTime. We were unable to attend numerous vendor meetings so Fidan would FaceTime us and show us the venues, decor, etc. We had a long to-do list, but with the help of Fidan, we were able to keep everything on time and (reasonably) within budget. If you think all the preparation was impressive; wait till you see Fidan and her team in action at the rehearsal and the day-of events. During the rehearsal, Fidan was instrumental in organizing all the timing and positioning of everyone in the wedding party. Two dry-runs and we’re good to go! On the day of, we had Carly and Liz come to the groom’s house to prep for the Chinese tea ceremony. Carly was running the show until we got to our main venue keeping us on schedule for photos at two separate locations across Toronto. Fidan was already at the main venue setting up hours before we would arrive. When we arrived, Fidan scheduled us a break; which was well needed. The barista, buffet, speeches and dances went off without a hitch. Then we moved downstairs to the ceremony space which was stunning. Fidan spontaneous added candles and greenery to the aisle which elevated the whole ambiance. Once the ceremony and photos concluded, we headed to the afterparty. Cindy was there a couple hours before us to organize all the food, ice sculpture, carnival games, drinks and DJ. The whole afterparty was incredible! We partied to 2am and that was it! From our first conversation, we challenged Fidan if our upside-down wedding concept was achievable. She took that challenge and ran with it! Not only did the whole wedding day run completely smooth; it was well-received by all the guests! +1500 emails, 18months, 4 planners distilled into the best 22hrs of ours lives! We hands down recommend Fidan and her team for any event you’re planning; birthdays, product launches and especially weddings! I hired Designed Dream based on a recommendation from a close friend. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding in October and was able to witness Designed Dream in action. Honestly in the beginning, I didn’t think I needed a planner and figured I could plan and organize the wedding myself. I am so glad I didn't go with my initial feeling because hiring Designed Dream was one of the best decisions I ever made with regards to the entire wedding. My husband and I live in Calgary and we were planning our Toronto wedding from there. Not only were Fidan and Carly on top of everything, they understood exactly what we wanted and were able to carry out the vision we had for the wedding in its entirety. Planning a wedding from afar wasn’t easy, especially with us not being there in person, the time difference, and the fact that my husband and I have very busy schedules with work. Designed Dream was very flexible in terms of scheduling vendor meetings and Skype calls. The day of the wedding went off without a hitch. Both my husband and I have large families and Fidan and Carly were able to get everything completed on time so that we could enjoy our wedding stress free. They were also able to anticipate any problems before they became an issue. The moment there was any hint of a potential problem, Fidan and Carly were communicating with the appropriate people for clarification to ensure the issue was dealt with. Fidan and Carly were also very approachable and personable to friends and family who had questions and we had great feedback from them as well. There were definitely a lot of things I didn’t think about both during the planning process and the day of and Fidan and Carly were on top of everything. Our wedding day was perfect and it wouldn’t have happened without Fidan and Carly. We could not recommend Designed Dream enough!

This past weekend I had such a fun time setting up the Event In A Box by Designed Dream Weddings! I chose and absolutely loved the Artistic Spring dinner table theme setting for two guests. Fidan and her team made it so simple to set up. Table setting instructions are included in the box, as well as a menu from the caterers. I loved how the menu had my name on it which made it more personalized! The food was also very delicious and fun to plate! The floral arrangements was gorgeous and I loved the gold flowers! Packing up was quick and easy and no washing was needed! It was a fun dining experience to have in my very own backyard, and definitely a memory I will never forget for my birthday! A big thank you to Carly!! Going with Designed Dream as our month of coordinator was one of the best decisions we made! The main reason we wanted a coordinator was so that we wouldn’t have to worry about anything on the day of. But also, we wanted our family and friends to enjoy and celebrate this day without having to worry about any of the logistics. From the moment we met Carly, she was extremely helpful and resourceful. Throughout the entire process, Carly was absolutely awesome! She has great attention to detail, was very responsive to emails and text messages, gave us many vendor recommendations, and an endless amount of advice. When my fiancee suggested, at an early stage in our wedding planning, that we hire a planner I must admit to being against it. We seemed to be doing fine with it ourselves (really, 95% her!) and I just couldn't see the value in the extra cost of hiring someone else to do the planning. I had no idea how wrong I was! I just want to start off by saying, hiring Fidan and her team is THE BEST thing you can do for your wedding. To give a little background, I live in the US and was looking for a planner in Toronto. I found Fidan through reading online reviews and decided to see whether we would be a good fit during a video interview. Before we even decided to hire her, she already had an entire plan laid out and answered all of our questions and concerns. What really made us go with Fidan initially was that she doesn’t just treat you like you are just one of her clients, but rather you know you’re in the hands of someone that truly cares about making your wedding the best wedding possible. Over the course of a year, Fidan and Carly made sure we were on schedule in terms of booking the venue, hiring vendors, and making other decisions regarding the wedding. Let me just say I am a procrastinator and sometimes not very good at making decisions. In addition, I was not living in Toronto and couldn’t physically be there most of the time. But Fidan and Carly made it work and were on top of everything. They would narrow down vendors for me based on my preferences and budget; they would help schedule online conference meetings with vendors and go over every contract; they would help with my inspiration board; they even took my parents to see different venues and videotaped everything for us. I literally never had to worry about a single thing despite doing all of this long distance. Also, the vendors recommended by Fidan have all turned out to be amazing and delivered beyond what they promised. On the day of the wedding, Fidan and Carly were the MVPs. From early 7am, they were in the background making sure everything was going according to plan. Everything was executed perfectly. I was never bothered with questions, I never had to worry about the guests, I never had to worry about the vendors, I never had to worry about the photographers, I never had to worry about the limo bus, basically I didn’t worry about a single thing that day except to smile and take photos. That’s when you know you have amazing wedding planners because everything is taken care in the background. Everyone that attended the wedding said it was one of the best weddings they have attended. There’s not enough space to describe the appreciation my husband and I have for Fidan and Carly. They made our dream wedding possible and helped us avoid all the headache that comes with planning a wedding. Friends, if you are looking for a wedding planner, do yourself a favor and contact Fidan and Carly. If you end up hiring them, it’ll be the best decision you can make for your wedding.

Carly was our wedding planner for what we didn’t know would be our pandemic wedding. We had found Carly through wedding wire about 5 months after we got engaged, and thank God for that ! I was a total wreck, I had never planned or been a part of a wedding before and had no idea where to start- our original wedding was for August 15, 2020 and unfortunately had to be postponed and again 2 times after that! Carly had totally taken charge and made me feel so incredibly calm, I had finally taken my first breath after our first meeting with her. We put our total trust into Carly, she had dealt with all of our design and decor, gave us amazing vendor options, helped us find every little last minute item we needed, kept us on track, negotiated with vendors to give us tugging we wanted within our budget and anything else you could think of. I had planned my bridal shower on my own and even then Carly had been so hands on with anything I was looking for and even negotiated on my flatware rentals!! Other than getting married for us herself she had taken care of it all with such ease. The day of we had met Carly’s business partner Fidan, she was at my home for the morning of making sure I was calm cool and collected, scheduling my bridesmaids, parents and myself leading me down to the alter without any stress. Once I had arrived at my venue my mouth dropped! I had taken all of Carly’s suggestions for decor and thank god because I truly believe my wedding was more beautiful than o could have dreamed. The event went on without a hitch, all of my guests were full of compliments and it really is all thanks to Carly and Fidan. I will 100% refer these ladies to every bride! Our goal for the day of the wedding was to limit any stress or worry to the bare minimum, and we knew this would only be possible with a coordinator. We were lucky to have recommendations from friends, and we are so glad we went with Fidan and Milena! Many planners have very set packages whereas we found Designed Dream to be extremely flexible. As we felt comfortable choosing our vendors we went with the month of coordination, but Fidan and Milena started about 2 months before our wedding and it would not have gone so smoothly without them! In hindsight it would have been very helpful having them from the start, as they are very proficient in reviewing contracts and negotiating with vendors. They were so professional and organized, but also extremely caring and warm. They made helpful suggestions but never made us feel pressured. Weddings are expensive, but unless you're having a smaller sized one, you really need the professionals to make the event run smoothly. Fidan and Milena were one of our best decisions for our wedding, and we could not recommend them enough!

If you are planning a wedding and debating whether or not you need a wedding planner. Don’t even think twice about it. You NEED one, and you absolutely NEED Designed Dream. I am a control freak and a very type A personality and I did not think I needed a planner. This was one of the best decisions that we made during our entire planning process. We had the pleasure of working with both Millena and Fidan, and all I can say is that these girls are gold. They are so experienced in what they do, they are so organized and effective that they truly let you just be the bride. Both Fidan and MIllena are so dedicated to what they do that they will respond to you literally any time of day to put you at ease, whether that is 5 am or 11 pm. They are there for you every step of the way. We never had to wait more than an hour to get a response, more so, usually it came within 5 mins of writing the text. The coordination that these girls bring to the table is simply incredible. They will coordinate amongst all of your vendors and make sure things that you did not even know had to be done are considered, discussed and resolved before the big day. The thing that stood out to us the most however, was the smoothness that these girls orchestrated on the actual day of the day wedding. There will always be a few hiccups during the celebration of any wedding, but as a bride, I did not have to answer a single question, I did not speak to a single vendor, and I did not have to deal with a single issue. In fact, Millena took care of everything so quickly that I did not even notice a single mishap. Millena took charge and took care of absolutely everything. She made the day completely stress free for us. There were times that I knew we were behind schedule, I would look at her, and she would simply say “you are good, everything is ok, I have everything under control.” And it is that simple sentence that made the wedding what it was. Because she not only said it, but she did in fact have every single little thing under her control. Design Dream is your key to your wedding. Thank you for your work. Thank you for your dedication. Thank you for your talent. Thank you for everything. We could not have done it without Milena and Fidan. We love you!!!!!!

My husband Michael and I got married this past August and booked DesignedDream for styling and day-of-coordination. Within minutes of meeting Fidan, we knew she was the perfect person to help make our day run smoothly. She is the sweetest, most genuine person, and it was like talking to a friend who was so excited about our wedding, while also having a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field. Fidan was an incredible support and always quick to respond to our never ending questions, while also providing great recommendations. She helped us come up with a realistic itinerary (and made sure the day went as planned, even when we made some last minute changes!). Fidan accompanied us to some vendor meetings to ensure everyone was on the same page, and would help us work through important details that we might had overlooked. The Designed Dream team is truly incredible. Always on the ball, always available when you need, always impeccable with their care and timing and attention to detail. From timeline assistance to knowing where to be to assist the couple on the day of the wedding (eg. holding flowers and belongings - who knew there’s so much stuff to carry on a wedding day!)... setting up every detail, checking up on vendors before and on the day, keeping the evening flowing smoothly from DJ/MC timing to checking up on the kitchen if meals are coming out slowly, discretely yet effectively packing up everything at the end of the night so we didn’t have to worry about any of that... there are so many things to list that they helped with but bottom line is if you’re considering hiring her just do it. You won’t regret it! We had issues due to Covid with our original venue - they wouldn’t commit to a reduced guest count at government guidelines - so we were left without a venue just 2 months to our scheduled October date. We wondered if we could plan something within a month to have something outdoors during warmer September... We enlisted the help of Fidan and Milena and spoiler alert - we did it! Designed Dream has connections with many amazing vendors and Fidan suggested Palais Royale, which was actually one of my top choices when we first started planning (I loved that it had the versatility of indoor space, covered outdoor tent space, and amazing waterfront vibes) but it was initially beyond our budget for a larger wedding. With less guests and with Designed Dream’s pull we were able to plan something affordable and truly beautiful. We were SO happy with how everything turned out. Even my husband kept saying how amazing and helpful Fidan and Milena were. He knew a planner could be helpful, but he didn’t realize HOW helpful! We are so grateful to Fidan, Milena and Designed Dream for all their help in pulling off an incredible day in record time! Thank you so much!

I found Fidan + her Designed Dream team by fate, while looking on social media for wedding inspiration (and noting her highly recommended reviews/ratings) though undecided on whether or not we would be getting the help/if it was needed. I quickly realized how much I loved the way her previous weddings looked and knew that at the very least, we would draw inspiration from such beautiful weddings she was behind. We eventually decided we would feel better having an expert guide us through the planning process and were between 2 wedding planners -in my heart, having Fidan was the dream. Fidan liaises with the best friendors who she trusts and has established relationships with, to help her and her team execute all the details of the big day. Our end resulting team was incredible - there was a sense that all our vendors genuinely cared to pitch in their part into delivering a relatively smooth, beautiful day and night - which it sure was! We were connected with Carly (one of Design Dream's Lead Coordinators) within the few months leading up to the wedding and like Fidan, she was also very sweet and helped keep us on track: from our gorgeous inspiration board, other vintage decor details, coordinating our cake, to being there with our flowers/photos the day of. Together, they worked behind the scenes to help ensure that the vision, including our La La Land movie inspired dream, came to life. Everything we planned for the day happened as scheduled, without a hitch. Even despite our fashionably late arrivals to our church ceremony :) -everything went back on track. And without a doubt, all the attention to the details I admired from Fidan's previous work were carefully attended to. We knew after discussing the vision with Fidan/Alina (Flowers Time) that our reception was going to be beautiful, but during our room reveal, we could not believe just how stunning the room looked (see Designed Dream on Instagram for a video of our reaction!). We're a month into our marriage and the fact that our friends/family are still talking about how amazing our wedding was is a true testament to all the hard work in collaboration with the Designed Dream team that made it possible. Many guests commented that it was the BEST wedding they have ever been to: how beautiful the decor/ambiance was, delicious food, entertainment, how it felt extremely organized - an amazing overall experience. We can't even begin to find the words to accurately thank Fidan, Carly, and the Designed Dream team enough for their time and efforts, and genuinely caring to ensure our day was successful and special. They are really passionate about their work and we felt really went above & beyond our expectations. We hired Fidan to be our day of coordinator for our wedding in May 2019. Our wedding was a long day, as we incorporated two different cultural ceremonies and a reception, all on the same day starting from 9:00 am. From our first meeting with Fidan we knew right away that she was the perfect person to help us bring our vision to life. Fidan was always responsive to emails, always making sure to get back to us on the same day. She started working with us a month before the wedding even though we had only hired her for the day itself. She helped us create our timelines for the day, she attended our rehearsal, and she got in touch individually with all of our other vendors to make sure that everything was coordinated and that everyone was on the same page. On the actual day of our wedding, Fidan and her assistant Jessica were with us right from the start. They both worked non-stop throughout the day to make sure that everything went according to schedule. Our wedding was a huge success, our guests were particularly impressed with how well organized the event was, and this was only possible because of Fidan and Jessica's efforts. We cannot recommend Designed Dream enough. You will not be disappointed by their work. This was by far the best decision and money we spent on the entire wedding.

idan had been amazing in taking all of our ideas and helping make them reality. She always knew the right people and vendors to get the job done perfectly. She was able to coordinate dozens of people and services not only on the day of the wedding but also, leading up to it. Additionally, seeing as we are located in Ottawa and Fidan in Toronto, she managed to always accommodate our requests and make us feel like part of the process without being physically there. On the day of, Yvonna was lucky enough to work with Fidan's partner, Milena who ensured that everything ran smoothly on the bride's side. She coordinated limos, bridesmaids, crazy family and friends and giant bouquets of flowers without blinking an eye.

As I was very busy during the planning period and the time is very constraint, in many places I just came up with a few ideas, Carly could help me to enrich and realize my ideas. Carly is also very creative. Most of the time I don't have any ideas about the details of the wedding. We are so thankful to Fidan and Carly for their expertise, kindness, and attention to detail that allowed us to truly enjoy our wedding day to the fullest! Their vision helped us DESIGN OUR DREAM ;) We started the wedding planning process determined that despite what people said, said, we would be fine without wedding planning/coordination help. We met and booked most vendors during the first two months of planning but then I started feeling completely overwhelmed thinking of how our wedding would come together. We hired Designed Dream for our wedding after being introduced to their work from a friend. We interviewed with a number of wedding planners, and then got the recommendation for Fidan. This friend was not the bride but was in the wedding party and was so impressed with Fidan's organization and eye for design and style that she insisted I give Fidan a call. My husband and I knew Fidan was our planner after our initial meeting. She was so prepared, professional, down to earth, ready to listen and give advice, and had complete respect for our budget and concerns. The entire planning process was a breeze with Fidan, and this is coming from someone who is controlling and high strung! I can't imagine having planned the wedding without her and could not thank her enough for the amazing work and help! From start to finish, day or night, Fidan answered all of my questions, kept me on track (time-wise, financially, and mentally) and was so nice and down to earth to work with. She had a lot of suggestions for vendors, and if something didn't work out or gel with us she had more suggestions for vendors. The day of the wedding went off without any problems and everyone commented how on top of everything Fidan and her team were. My family and friends were all impressed with how calm, organized, kind, and sweet Fidan is. With a big family that doesn't want to listen to anyone a planner is a MUST or else I don't think we would have EVER finished the family photos after the wedding. Her team, which included Milena, were amazing on the day. I can't recommend Fidan enough, and HAVE recommended her to my closest friends, something I would not do lightly unless I was truly happy with our time together. I can't say enough good things.
