Courtney was an absolute lifesaver! Our plans pivoted 101 times amidst the pandemic but we were dead set on holding our date in September 2020. Last minute restrictions resulted in cutting our guest list in half but Court was a total hero and made it happen in the eleventh hour! Although our plans changed in a big way our wedding was a dream come true and met all of my high expectations. You would be crazy to not hire Court on your wedding dream team!

Courtney worked with our vendors and we relocated the whole shindig to the Wakefield Inn and it was better than what we originally planned. We hired Courtney after getting overwhelmed when we started to think about choosing a venue. She helped us right from the beginning, suggested locations, looked over our contracts, asked our vendors questions we would never have thought of. Courtney guided us based on our preferences, and didn't make us feel bad for not having things like a cake, paper invitations, or flowers. Even with us skipping lots of things like that, planning a wedding is a crazy amount of work. Of course people can do it on their own, but having someone like Courtney saved us so much in time and sanity. We had some last minute changes the week and the day of the wedding, we would have lots our minds having to handle it ourselves. Courtney and her team were wonderful from the beginning. She beautifully coordinated our wedding in August 2018 at the Chateau Laurier. She's easy to talk to, personable, and also very organized, determined and fierce when she has to be! I had no doubt she would get everything we needed done on the big day, and she didn't disappoint. Courtney built a day-of itinerary down to the minute which helped organize our wedding party, all of whom came from out of town and had no time to rehearse. She also coordinated drop off times for all of the vendors which went off without a hitch. Furthermore, she picked up all of the decor, favours, etc, the week before and delivered it to our venue personally. The day of, Courtney and her associate were very professional. It honestly took away all of the stress to know that Courtney had thought through the entire day and had back up plans for all the "what-ifs". I had complete trust in her, and without her I don't think I would have been able to enjoy the day as freely as I did. I would definitely recommend investing in Courtney Elizabeth Events.

My (new!) husband and I hired Courtney for her partial wedding planning services and we are so glad that we did! My husband said several times throughout the wedding planning process that our investment in hiring Courtney as a wedding planner was the best purchase of our entire wedding. It prevented me from getting anxious or worried about the big day and gave me someone knowledgeable and professional to consult on questions big and small for the year leading up to our wedding. From our first meeting, Courtney was professional, calm, prompt, kind, funny, and honest. She answered all my many questions with patience and humor and made recommendations when we weren't sure what to do. Courtney has existing relationships with many of Ottawa's top wedding vendors which made it extremely easy to find trusted folks who would make our day extra special including a limo service and a DJ. She even made my mom feel extra special by leading her on a private venue visit and wedding chat a month before our wedding! To top it off, on the day of the wedding, she quietly and subtly fixed all of the place cards we had made ourselves (and did incorrectly...) - this is a great example of the type of planner she is, quietly and diligently making sure everything ran smoothly and perfectly. With Pinterest and the millions of websites out there – it’s easy to get caught up in all of the details… and Courtney helped us to create our vision that truly represented us as a couple. Whether it was vendor recommendations, helping us with budgeting, guest list questions, etc., Courtney was there to help us. As a bride I felt like there was a lot of pressure to make things perfect – and whenever I had a moment of “omg I don’t know what I’m doing” she was there to walk me through it. She created this non-judgemental environment where I could be open about any of my concerns – it was like talking to a close girlfriend who just immediately understood! On our wedding day I felt so much calmer knowing that she was there to make sure everything was running smoothly. We ended up losing the groom’s boutonniere (yikes!) but Courtney was quick to figure out a plan and the boutonniere ended up more beautiful than we had ordered!
