Had a marvelous time with Captain Kirk. The lake is beautiful. Sailing is such a peaceful experience. Kirk allowed us to try our hands at sailing and it was a lot of fun. Would highly recommend.

Had an enjoyable sail with Gord on his 25 footer - a chance to see the pretty village of St. Peter's and it's popular marina from the water. A great way to spend an afternoon in this beautiful part of Cape Breton!

If you're looking for an experience that helps you feel connected to the local community, while appreciating nature and experiencing the uniqueness of Cape Breton - you'll be very happy sailing with Captain Kerr! My 2 travel mates, their 13-month old and I enjoyed a last minute historical canal tour with RAP. We arrived to a personal abode/backyard dock launch, and Gord's calm & confident demeanour to greet us - it really set the tone for feeling both comfortable and excited upon arrival, like we were walking onto a friends sailboat. Stories and history naturally sprinkled into the tour, my biggest takeaway was our Captain's humble demeanour as he shared what incredible initiatives he and his partner have initiated and maintained in the region, a glimpse into the care and pride that RAP offers in a humble and genuine way. I can't wait to do the full day in the future and to tell friends to sail this region, too! Wonderful and absolutely worthwhile.

Gordon is an amazing captain and is so hospitable. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and it was amazing! Ann Marie was also so so wonderful. We shared lunch, and upon knowing that I like spicy food he hand-picked a few chilli peppers from his garden. I will never forget their kindness and thoughtfulness. It was one of the best days I ever had! I would highly recommend booking with them. You won’t regret it!

We were given this tour as a gift. We were somewhat reluctant to go and weren't sure what to expect. When we finally went, we were more than pleasantly surprised. Gordon Kerr is a pleasant, knowledgeable, fun sailor. He took us out after giving us some safety instructions. Shortly after setting sail he offered us an opportunity to steer. I thought I would try :) It's harder than it looks. I learned a number of terms, including unintended tack (there were a few of those) and got to feel the wind and get a sense of what is involved in sailing. Our cruise was much smoother once Gord took the helm. He was able to recover my Tilley hat that blew into the water by circling around a few times. I appreciate that. We stopped for a snack of homemade kale chips, homemade salsa and chips an some tea and water. All delicious. Back on shore after about 3 hours. We really enjoyed our tour and recommend this if you are in the area.

My husband and I had the best private full day sail with Captain Gordon! The weather was perfect, we saw many birds and learned the basics of sailing. Gordon was knowledgeable about the history and current events of the area. We took our own picnic and the Captain had his so but all shared. We had the best experience and could not recommend this Richmond Adventure more!
