I ordered flowers for my mother birthday since I live in a different province. When I purchased them on line I up graded my arrangement to a premium arrangement, 2 days before my order is to be delivered on my mothers bithday, they called me and asked if they could deliver the arrangement early due to a predicated weather warning I agreed however they advised me they would deliver later in the day, by 11 am my flowers were delivered. my mother sent me a picture of her arrangement and the was not the one I ordered to make the arrangement look bigger they only added greens and baby's breath. I called the office to speak with them about it and all they could say was the arrangement is close. It does state on your order summary " a substitution of comparable quality could be used" that is NOT comparable quality! the lady I spoke to was rude and unwilling to reason with. That is a horrible way to run a business. Before I ordered I did read the already bad reviews however I took my chances I guess lesson learned!

We have purchases rather large and expensive arrangements from here and we love them. The flowers are beautiful, abundant and last quite awhile. The only place in Sydney I trust. Have used other places and was disappointed.

My husband usually surprises me with Lily's from Lotherington Flowers every few months. I've never been let down, they create a beautiful bouquet everytime! I know he doesn't know much about flowers so all the credit goes to them. I will always look forward to getting my Lily's!

Excellent service each time I have used them. Very friendly and helpful on the phone. Often deliver at very short notice. When visiting Canada from Scotland I went in to the shop to put faces to the voices. They were as friendly as I experienced on the phone.

I had tried to order some flowers online here. Got to the very end of the ordering process and my $55 arrangement was going to have a $50 delivery fee....for after the date that I had requested. Ordering somewhere else that doesn't scam their patrons.

I made a late order for my Grandson's Mother's Day flowers for his Mom. Order said that it would get delivered on Monday. I was disappointed but hey, it was my fault for ordering a little late. It was actually delivered on Mother's Day! Thank you for making this work. My Grandson was so happy she received it and his Mom was equally happy to get it. BTW, the flower arrangement was beautiful. Thank you. Her smile was worth every dollar.

Ordered flowers for my mother on Valentines day. The second picture is what I ordered the first is what I received. How are they even comparable? Paid 85$ for something I could have got at the local grocery store. Not happy, unfortunately for me they are closed today. Last time I ever order from them again, so disappointed.

Lotheringtons put together our bouquets and all of the flowers for our wedding. I was coordinating with them from BC and they were always responsive and helpful. When we received the flowers on the day of the wedding I was blown away by how perfect and beautiful they were. The quality and quantity was perfect and we couldn’t have been happier. I live out of province and placed an order online for Mothers day. Any occassion can be very busy on flower shops and given the fact that we are all human and mistakes happen, I have to say that Nancy and Karen both were very accomodating without any hassle whatsoever for the mishap and made the correction very pleasing. Lotherings flowers have been around for years and are very professional, I will continue to order from them in future.

Received flowers today for Mother's day from my daughter sent from here and I am so disappointed ???? they are turning brown few are broken and alot of buds turning brown color before even bloomed. I understand it's a busy time but if you don't have enough fresh flowers you shouldn't sell anymore today.. So very sad for the amount of money put out on these. She had flowers also delivered to her grandmother that were exactly same ... Big thumbs down. Today I have spent 4 hours of my time trying to get thru and put on hold a number of ti.es for no answer. I've ordered a basket called "Snack Attack" for my mother on her Birthday. the basket that she received was nothing like the picture that I have ordered online or the description of it which is false advertising. I paid a total of $114.99 and it was only worth about $30.00. I'm very disappointed when I could have just asked a relative or friend to pick up the items for me. I have left many emails for a partial refund and the reply I got was "the value was there for what was received." that is a lie. I have then written multiple emails after that and no reply. Horrible customer service when I was looking for just a partial refund. I do believe in supporting small businesses, but if it is run the way it is, I will never order from them again.

Beautiful Christmas Cactus which was just beginning to blossom. I called the florist to make sure they could deliver to Cape Breton University residence for my son's birthday. They were very helpful, it was delivered on the requested date and my son was happy with the plant and the basket they had it placed in. Great job Lotherington!
