My husband and I are SO glad to have hired Flora as our wedding planner! It was three months before our wedding and we didn't know there was still so many things to prepare until we met Flora. She's always so nice, patient, and professional. She would go through every single detail with you, and she'd answer any questions almost instantly, even late at night and on weekends! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect. It was exactly the wedding we dreamed of. I thought that day would be super stressful and hectic, but surprisingly, I found myself really relaxed and was actually able to enjoy myself throughout the whole day! All of this wouldn't have been possible without Flora and Angelina's help. We only found out on the next day that there was actually a few accidents on our wedding day but everything got taken care of without us getting involved! Once again my husband and I would like to thank Flora and Angelina for everything! We highly recommend Flora and Fusion Events to anyone who are looking to have a perfect and amazing wedding!!!

My husband and I had 3 main goals for our wedding of which one was a great band to provide a memorable party! We danced the entire night and 3 months later our guests are still talking about what an amazing party our wedding was. The best choice we made in our wedding is to hire the team from Fusion Events to plan our wedding! We worked very closely with Flora, Erin throughout the year to plan for the big day. They are such nice, professional, and patient people, and are ALWAYS available to help if any questions come up. From the very beginning, when we told Flora that we would like a venue close to water, preferably with big windows, Flora found us Spencer's at the Waterfront at Burlington, which is exactly the kind of venue we wanted and also reasonably priced! Our wedding day was exactly what my husband and I had dreamed of. Flora and Erin made sure all the little details were taken care of, and the day ran smoothly, so that my husband and I can actually enjoy the wedding day with our family and friends, rather than being anxious and worried of the details. In addition, Flora understood how important decor, photography/videography, and MC are to us, and recommended excellent vendors for each who are also within our budget range. We are extremely happy with each of the vendors Flora had recommended! They are all very well worth it! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect! We actually had several friends asking us information about our wedding planner, and commenting that our wedding was one of the best ones they had attended! We want to say thank you to Flora, Erin, and the rest of the Fusion Events team for helping us plan our big day. It was exactly what we wanted, and we couldn't have asked for a better day! Shugga performed at our wedding this past May and we were not disappointed! They managed to get everyone up on the dance floor and catered the song choices to our guests. We cannot say enough about Fusion Events. Everything from the planning with Arthur to the actual event was perfect and well organized. Our DJ, Sam, was incredible and all night our guests kept telling us how much they loved the music! The lighting that they provided added the perfect ambience to our setting and really created a romantic setting. As two lovers of music, the music during both our ceremony and reception were important to us, and they delivered hands down. The second I heard my processional song I was in tears. My wife and I enlisted Fusion Events for our wedding on March 29th 2014 at the Rosewater Room. We selected the band Shugga, and everything exceeded our expectations. Upon our first meeting with Arthur to go over the finer points for the big day, he was extremely affable and answered all our questions. We were impressed with his attention to detail and genuine desire for us to have the best experience possible. We loved the ability to request that the band learn a few songs that weren’t on their repertoire (after checking that the band would have no problem learning them). The entire band was so full of energy and the general vibe was that they were having a great time performing. The lead singer, Mike Fertola, was in another category entirely. Initially we had requested that a duo perform during the ceremony (piano and guitar), but upon seeing our song list, Arthur suggested that Mike in fact sing during the ceremony. At first we were a bit hesitant, as we didn’t want him “stealing the show”, as it were, but his performance was incredible and was the most amazing complement to our ceremony. We requested that the band perform the following songs: Ellie Goulding – How Long Will I Love You - Bridal Party Processional Christina Perri – A Thousand Years – Bridal Processional Dave Matthews Band – Ants Marching – Recessional John Legend – All of Me – First Dance The band arrived early (including Arthur, who was there to ensure everything went off without a hitch), and I was very pleasantly surprised to be upstairs when the duo was setting up for the ceremony. Mike was there warming up and practicing the songs. I knew right away that we were going to be in for a great night. Mike’s Dave Matthews was quite reminiscent of his early days as a singer and sounded perfect. Shugga played all through dinner and in between speeches. It totally changed the vibe for our wedding. People (en mass) were getting up and dancing in between courses. When the band kicked off their full sets after our first dance (Mike’s rendition of John Legend’s All of Me was spot on) the party practically didn’t stop until 1 a.m. We would, without reservation, recommend Shugga to perform at any event, and we were quite impressed with Fusion’s professionalism and helpfulness in making our wedding the hit it was. Everyone came up to us and declared their own adoration for the band, and we knew we had made the right choice.

Just had our wedding last Sunday, and it was PERFECT. The venue, photographer, decoration, florist, music and MC...every detail is exactly what we want. Flora started planning our wedding last year and she was pregnant along the way. She gave birth to a lovely baby a week ago. And even the day before, she and Erin were discussing the wedding details with us.I don't know how she is able to handle this intense job and her personal life that well. They tried their best to accommodate our requests, and provided professional and honest suggestions. I can’t imagine how James and I can have this beautiful wedding without you. My husband and I had Flora as our wedding planner. From our initial meeting we could tell that she’s really passionate about her job. Not only that, Flora is extremely organized, resourceful, dedicated and meticulous. She would reply my messages well after 11pm and write us emails at 4am – a sign that she loves her job and takes her clients very seriously! Wedding planning is a stressful and daunting process, but Flora made it much simpler and actually enjoyable for us. Whenever I felt nervous or unsure about something, she would always calm me down, tell me not to worry, and reassure me that, “Everything will be okay”. She answered all our questions and addressed our concerns very patiently. With her tremendous help and countless suggestions, we were able to fully develop our theme and realize our vision. Indeed, I spent my wedding day worry-free and was able to enjoy every moment of the big day because all the little details (from coordinating deliveries, to acting as a liaison with the venue, to setting up the sign-in table etc.) were taken care of by Flora and her assistants Erin and Angelina. They ensured that the planned activities were on time and everyone was informed about what to do next. Everything at the ceremony and reception was above and beyond our expectation. Our guests were blown away by the great food, the beautiful décor, the delicious sweet table, and the amazing MC and DJ – all of which would not have been possible without Flora’s help. Hiring her as our wedding planner was the most valuable investment we made on our wedding. Once again we thank Flora and her team for planning our dream wedding for us. We would highly recommend Flora and Fusion Events to anyone who wants a memorable and one-of-a-kind wedding!

The Fusion Events Orchestra Band that performed at our Wedding was definitely a highlight of our wedding reception!! The Band performed amazingly and really animated and pumped up the crowd. The dance floor was packed the entire night and really made our wedding celebration an extraordinary night to remember. Arthur K from Fusion Events made it really easy to coordinate our dream wedding reception, even though me, my wife, and Arthur all lived in different cities at the time. With my brother's help, Arthur coordinated the decorations (which were beautiful and exactly what I wanted), the cake (which was delicious and lovely), the entertainment (which was rocking), and secured some amazing extras like a really nice photo set that fit the decor perfectly (Diorama Photo - check them out too!). Arthur was well-versed in South Asian weddings, so he knew what we were looking for. He always kept in touch, ran everything by us, but also did a ton of work behind the scenes to make sure everything went smooth. I could not be happier with the event, and Arthur and Fusion Events made it all happen. Highly recommended!

Music is a big part of our lives and many of our guests were musicians themselves, so we saw a lot of bands and didn't want to take this decision lightly. I reached out to Arthur and from the moment we started talking, I had a gut feeling about him. For that reason, I was keen to attend a showcase for God Made Me Funky and we were totally sold. If not for the reason alone that Arthur was a dream to work with, the band is exceptionally talented, high-energy and kept the crowd on the floor all night. We received so many compliments on this aspect of our wedding. My only regret is that I was so busy with guests that night that I never had a chance to thank them all personally. Each one of the band members brought so much to the table. Arthur, please let me know if the band is ever playing any public events. I would love to dance the night away again with GMMF!

Let us start this review off with a concise statement – if you are even considering using Fusion Events at your wedding, my only advice is to go ahead and BOOK THEM NOW. They were incredible on our special day! We booked the band Shugga - they looked and sounded professional, and they sure know how to read a crowd and the depth and breadth of their song list will leave you more than satisfied. When our dance floor opened Shugga had all of our guests on their feet. Our wedding was over two weeks ago and when we speak to guests the first thing they say is - “Erick and Haley we had a wonderful time, but I have to mention - the band you guys found was AMAZING!” If I had one complaint it would be that they were so outstanding they almost upstaged us (: we cannot recommend Fusion Events enough. Throughout the whole process from initial consultation to The Big Day they were courteous and timely. 5/5 Stars, absolutely incredible team of talented individuals.

We contacted Arthur at Fusion Events after we had cancelled another band we were going to use. It was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!! Arthur told us about his band uRequest Live, and after seeing their videos and live performance we hired them immediately. The singers are absolutely FANTASTIC!!!!!! We loved their cool concept of the touch screen kiosks where guests can request songs on of their choice. It really encourages the guests to want to get up and dance. Everyone kept saying how amazing the band was. Arthur was a pleasure to deal with and he is very responsive, and professional. We would highly recommend uRequest Live over and over again!!!!!! So......... where do I begin? My wife and I are so incredibly happy and blown away with Shugga's performance for our wedding reception. They. Killed. It. We didn't even have to wait until after the wedding to get guest reviews. People were literally coming up to our table and telling us how ridiculously amazing the band was. A full month has gone by and people are still talking about how amazing the band was. The dance floor was jammed all night. Young and old, every one of our guests had nothing but compliments - that in itself says so much. The band even nailed the song that my I asked my uncle's to sing for my dance with my mom. It was almost like they rehearsed with each other for months! Arthur, we can't thank you enough for bringing a lot of calm to the madness. We knew that Shugga would not disappoint but to actually experience their performance and hear all of the positive feedback, we just couldn't be happier right now. Our guests are telling us that this was the best wedding they've ever been to (which of course everyone says right?) but Arthur, they're not exaggerating! One person who was sitting near the front where the band was came up to me and said - I don't know who setup the sound system, but I've never sat so close to a band and still be able to hear every word that people are saying at the table. It was this attention to detail that really made this a party for the ages. My mom still talks about how Mike literally walked into the crowd and handed the mic over for the guests to sing along. Not just a great singer, but a true entertainer. I can go on and on, but let me just end with a sincere and humbled thank you to Arthur and Shugga. Please don't think twice about hiring this band for any special occasion. You're not just hiring a band, you'll be providing your guests with an experience that they'll never forget.

My husband and I had a great experience with Fusion Events from the beginning. We first went to see FEO perform to get a feel for their style, and to our surprise it was a private showcase just for us! They played a variety of songs and we were able to choose some we wanted to hear as well, and decided we wanted FEO to play at our wedding on the spot! We had McMaster Strings do our ceremony music and FEO do our cocktails and reception entertainment. They were both fantastic bands. McMaster Strings did a great job with the classics and could also play a variety of contemporary songs. FEO was super high energy and got our guests on the dancefloor. We had several guests comment on how much they loved FEO! Our overall experience with Fusion Events was incredibly professional and organized, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for entertainment for their wedding!

This is a late review but it's still fresh in the mind. Arthur helped plan and organize our wedding in late 2016. We approached him a very tight four-five month timeline and he and his team responded very professionally. He offered us to be as involved as we wanted in choosing furnishings, menus and venue. Early on, he was a bit busy as he was running multiple projects but as the date drew nearer, he was more and more focused on getting the job done. He did an absolutely amazing job on the Big Day, staying organized and keeping everyone (more or less) on time. If there's one criticism, it's that his staff appeared a bit less consistently, meaning we might meet someone new on his team while planning one thing and then not see them again, but Arthur was always great to deal with one on one. Highly recommended to make your wedding run smoothly and turn out great! As a bonus, we are even still married today!!

Arthur K was a phenomenal wedding planner. My husband and I initially met with him shortly after getting engaged after hearing GMMF at a friend's wedding and knowing that we had to book them for our big day. At the time, we hadn't yet found a wedding planner for our wedding day. Arthur offered his services and we're so glad that he did! We booked Fusion Events for the 4-6 weeks leading up to the wedding as well as for planning and organizational services on our actual wedding day. Arthur was attentive (despite the fact that his wife was anticipated to give birth two days before our wedding!), enthusiastic and organized. He did an excellent job and we would recommend his services in a heartbeat.

Arthur did a fantastic job with planning and executing our wedding. It was better than what my husband and I envisioned, and much easier than we anticipated. We could not have been happier and our guests have raved about the time they had. We had a complicated fusion wedding, with 2 ceremonies of different religions on the same day, and 2 different menus. Working with Arthur on the multitude of details, coordinating with vendors (he suggested excellent ones) and remaining on (or sort-of-close to) budget were easy with him. We had a tight time line of 5 months to plan a big wedding and we were able to do it without much stress. It turned out just beautifully!!!!! Arthur and his team are professional, organized, attentive to what you are requesting and highly skilled. Neither my husband nor I had time to waste on mistakes or misunderstandings - and there were none. I HIGHLY recommend Arthur and Fusion for an excellent wedding planning experience. P.S. God Made Me Funky, with the addition of singer Mike Ferfolia from Shugga, played at our wedding. Just one word - "awesome."

Amazing! We had the pleasure of getting Jag and her team to co-ordinate our wedding this past weekend. My husband and I quickly realized that without her and her team, our vision would not have come to life. From the very beginning, she was extremely helpful in helping us build our itinerary, ensuring all of our vendors were contacted and everything was completed on time. She and her team relieved us of all stress that surrounds a wedding and I could not be happier. They went above and beyond my expectations. They made sure we had eaten, since most couples don't have the time, they would always come to check if we were ok, and made sure we had everything we needed when moving from one event to the next such as our photo shoot and reception. She was kind enough to come to my house to gather items needed so that we did not have to worry about carrying them to the venue. I would 100% recommend booking with Fusion if you want a stress- free day with extremely friendly and helpful staff!
