We used Special Event Rentals for our wedding and reception because we didn't want hotel conference chairs. Special Event Rentals was great to work! They responded to my initial inquiry quickly, provided me with great options and competitive prices, and made personalized recommendations based on my event. They were so good, that I never even knew they were there. They worked directly with hotel staff to deliver and set up the chairs according to our floor plan, and picked up the chairs after our wedding. As a bride, you don't want to have to worry about whether your setup will be taken care of, and items delivered on time. I didn't have to worry about that with Special Event Rentals, as the chairs were delivered on time, in great condition, and set up according to our floor plan. I would definitely recommend Special Event Rentals to others!

Looks like they will be the cheapest around UNTIL you get the final bill with massive additional charges!!! And they just charge your credit card! SCAM!!! BEWARE!

The quality of product is great, and I like how easy it is collect and return the items. I like the online catalog as it's simple to find items. Unfortunately, we had a couple of issues. When we picked up the tables, tablecloth, wine glasses and silverware we already had some other items in the car. The person loading the 6 tables reassured us that the tables wouldn't fall or move, against our protests. Unfortunately, when we arrived back the tables had fallen over and crushed an archway from another hire company. It cost $60 and took a lot of effort for the other rental company to fix. My mom and I should've gone with our instincts. However, upon return of the items we had checked and counted the wine glasses 3 times. SOMEHOW, we were billed for 2 broken wine glasses, even though there was only 1 missing. When I sent an email about it (as they took the money straight from our account for 2), there was no response given. Not great.

Worst experience ever! Visited their shop and confirmed everything 3 weeks before our wedding. The girl (Bethany) said everything was available for us so I gave her my credit card for the deposit. Six days later we were informed that some of the items we wanted were not available anymore. But that wasn't all. My fiancé picked up the order 2 days prior the wedding. To my surprise, they gave him the wrong color of napkins. I had order tiffany blue satin napkins and they gave us a completely different color. I cried for 2 hours the day before the wedding when I found out as it was too late to go back and get the right color. We had to use the white napkins that the venue provides. Such a stupid mistake. A bride has a vision and plans for all the decorations to match and it is completely irresponsable that a company like this does not care enough. When I returned the stuff the guy that received it compared the colors and recognized the mistake. Obviously they refunded us the amount we had paid for the napkins.
