I found this company through The Bash wedding event and we hit it off so immediately! I originally wasn't sure if I needed a planner but took the plunge and couldn't be happier with the decision. Kay is so friendly and knowledgeable, really doing her best to get to know us and be there in any way we needed. She goes above and beyond to make not only the day but the entire journey the best possible. Even when we had to postpone due to covid, she handled everything and did her absolute best to eliminate any stress around that situation. Would definitely recommend going with her and her associates!

During those two years we developed such a great working relationship and friendship with Kay and her team. She was extremely supportive to us and made our whole experience so enjoyable. Kay helped us to stay organized, determine a budget and select a team of excellent vendors. On our wedding day, Kay and her team executed an event that felt truly magical. Kay has impeccable taste and we were blown away by how beautifully everything came together. Kay surprised us with some very special details and made our day feel so unique and special. Throughout the wedding day, the Social and Co. team worked behind the scenes to ensure that every single moment went smoothly; we never had to worry about a thing. We had such a great experience with Kay that now my sister is using her as well for her wedding next year! Stress and exhaustion creeps in at an early stage during the wedding planning process, and it's not the most romantic experience for couples. I recommend to every future bride and groom to invest in a planner for and leading up to their big day. Kay never fails to offer a hearing ear, wise advice, calming assurance and expertise in "everything wedding", to bring that piece of mind for every couple. Kay has such a talent for thoughtful designs and attention-to-detail. I knew right away she would be able to capture my unrealistic vision and make it come true. From the cement textures and gold accents, to the soft grey fabrics and handwritten calligraphy, Kay was able to curate and channel so much meaning and beauty into my big day. Social + Co. was one of the best choices we made for the wedding, and we wouldn't have had it any other way.

My fiancee and I have been working with Raven and the rest of the team at Social+Co for almost a year now, and we are so glad that we have Raven as our wedding planner. Over the last year we have had to make some major changes to our wedding and Raven has always been there for us. Her guidance has made the stress of needing to change aspects of the wedding much much easier to handle. Due to Covid we postponed our wedding. Raven helped us to coordinate with our vendors and has ensured that our wedding will still go off the way we originally had envisioned. We went with the Design and Coordination package and have loved all the options that come with it. The D&C package allows us to be very involved in design choices, but with the help and guidance of a planner. Several times, Raven has provided us with vendor options that we didn't expect, and were better than we had thought possible. We've also gone with their floral package, and can't wait to work with Kay. With Social+Co we've been able to plan, book, and design every aspect of our wedding exactly how we would have dreamed it to be. We are so looking forward to our wedding day and cannot thank the team at Social+Co enough.

DO NOT USE THEM. Very disappointed. We were hoodwinked by Kay. Thought we would be working with a professional wedding planner but then got paired with someone who has done maybe 1 or 2 weddings. They lacked in experience and it really showed in our horrible experience with them. Now that we no longer want to work with them they won't give us a refund even though no services were completed. I do not recommend taking the risk with Social and Co. on your wedding day.

My fiancé and I wanted an outdoor, winter, mountain wedding in Canmore. Being that we didn't live in the area we thought that a coordinator would be best, but we got so much more! Social and Co went above and beyond at every step, from logistics, to design, we wanted for nothing. Did I mention we were planning during the pandemic and we still got a wedding that was beyond what we could have dreamed of? With this company you are supported every step of the way, and if there are any changes or issues, the team does everything in their power to take out all of the stress. Our wedding did take place outside, and all of our design not only held up, but looked beautiful throughout the day. Kay did an absolutely outstanding job of designing the florals so that not only would they look beautiful, but also that they would last. Social and Co actually made it possible to enjoy the planning planning process AND gave us the least stressful wedding day imaginable, my fiancé and I were truly able to immerse ourselves in the day without dealing with any logistics. I will truly miss working with Raven and Kay, they are such fantastic women.

Working with Social+Co was a truly disappointing experience. I would love to be sharing that the thousands of dollars we spent on planning and florals was a good investment, however working with their lead planner/owner felt like having a second full time job. Before I share more, I want to recognize that planning a wedding during the pandemic comes with many challenges both for couples and vendors, however the challenges we experienced relate to the bare minimum you would expect from a wedding planner. Our experience included constant follow up to ensure that Social+Co. was meeting deadlines they committed to (and often times managing missed deadlines), lack of transparency and accountability when issues came up, and consistent unresponsiveness. We had concerns that guests would not receive their invites in time to travel to attend our wedding, a severe lack of clarity (to this day) on our budget, and we also had vendors reaching out to us on our wedding day - while I was putting my wedding dress on - letting us know that they may not show up to the wedding because they hadn't received payment (which was being handled by Social+Co.). We received even more messages on our honeymoon asking for payment from us because Social+Co. continued to be unresponsive to them - I am certain I don't need to explain how unacceptable this is. Not only will we never see the thousands of dollars we spent with Social+Co. again, we are left with memories of the unexpected stress that characterized the months, weeks, days, and hours leading up to our wedding that we thought we were avoiding by working with a wedding planner.
