We rented the venue for our seated wedding event earlier this year. Jas, the owner, provided us with an 'all in' package for the venue including decorations and food. He made sure that all public health regulations were clearly explained to us prior to signing the contract and also guided us through the process from entry to exit. I must say that dealing with this venue was the best experience I've had for any event because it was clear, easy, and cost effective too. I wouldn't hesitate to book this venue for any future event.

Wow. Absolutely wow. We had my sisters engagement ceremony, Jaggo, and Reception here and it was amazing. Each and every single time the guests and our families were just left in awe as the decor, food, design, and entertainment were just perfect. Jas was super friendly and an absolute pleasure to deal with. THE BEST PRICE IN YYC AND THE BEST PARTY HALL IN YYC. We looked all over the city and nothing compared to this place. You will not find a more welcoming place than this. The dance floor was lit and everything was just perfect and we could not be happier. Will definitely be hosting future parties here at Rajveer Banquet Hall. ????????

Interesting little meeting centre. It’s obviously an industrial bay turned conference place by the very high ceilings and steel truss structure supporting the roof. Not the best acoustics but it worked well for the training presentation I attended there. The food was actually really good. Lunch was substantial and lots of salad choices with great thin sliced roast beef. The light breakfast and snacks they supplied were tasty also.

Deepak and his team did an outstanding job helping us organize our Grade 12 grad. Deepak was easy to work with and made sure all our requests were met. The food was excellent. We got lots of feedback regarding the red pepper sauce on the chicken. The service staff were very friendly. Overall a very positive experience.

Commonwealth Centre hosted a large event for us and did a fabulous job. The decor set the mood and made the room feel intimate and elegant. The food was truly top notch. We left most of the menu planning to the chefs and they came up with a creative and beautifully presented 3 course meal. We had complicate AV requirements and it all went smoothly. I wouldn't hesitate to book my next event with the team at Commonwealth. Best value in Calgary!

Excellent experience using Commonwealth for our office Holiday party. Most notably was the food. We have heard nothing but rave reviews about the dinner served. People can not stop talking about it "the best prime rib we've ever had', 'turkey will never be the same again'. No exaggeration! Working with Vik and his team to book the venue and organize all the details was an easy, stress free experience. There were no bumps in the road or hiccups. A/V worked great, room was set up exactly how we needed, again as mentioned food was AMAZING, and the staff were all extremely helpful and on the ball. Without a doubt we will be considering using venue again for our Holiday party.

I have hosted several graduation receptions at the Commonwealth Hall. I cannot say enough about the service or the food. What a wonderful event space. I would recommend this location to EVERYONE! They are so wonderful and accommodating. We have upwards of 600 guest at our events and do a sit down plated dinner. I am always so shocked at how they manage to keep the delusions food they make hot while serving that many people, not only that, they pay amazing attention to detail with all of our food restrictions and/or needs. I am so thankful I found this space for our graduations.

I attended an event here in early March 2017. The speaker was from Mumbai and told his story of the Dallawabbas of Mumbai. The centre prepared the most amazing Indian inspired dishes to compliment the speaker! I can't get the Cilantro dressing out of my head!! Thank you for such a great experience. We had no problems finding parking. The center is clean. We had a contractor's show, meals, breakfast and lunch, the buffet breakfast and lunch are good and was warm/hot as needed. The sound system was good. The wash rooms were clean, and the building was in good shape. All in all it seems to be a good place to hold an event.

Working with Jaz and Gagan was a wonderful experience overall! Jaz was so easy to work with and accommodating each time any hardship came our way! We hosted our Nikkah here and it was absolutely beautiful. The decor was amazing and the food was delicious. So many of our guests came to personally let us know how much they enjoyed the food and loved the decor. Super friendly staff and ownership. Very accommodating and clean. We had 3 events there and Jas and his team made everything so comfortable and smooth. Decor was amazing and he delivered exactly what we had envisioned. Above all the food was very well prepared, right on time. Appetizers were delicious especially the fish. Excellent location and ample parking. One thing that stood out for us is that Jas accommodated and offered a full Pakistani menu which was nice. We also mentioned to Jas to have a nut free menu as some of our children have allergies, and he went over and above to ensure that there would be no cross contamination of nuts. I can't thank him enough because most places wouldn't go the extra mile. We will definitely recommend Commonwealth and hold future events there. Thank you for making our daughter's wedding very special and memorable. You're definitely a big part of it!

I would like to thank everyone at Rajveer Banquet Hall(RJ) for the fantastic evening, great venue and amazing staff. First of all, Jas (owner) was amazing to work with from beginning. He was very patient and welcoming, explaining all the details and making sure that everything we required was done. He even went above and beyond to ensure the carpets are upgraded the night before our wedding. He is very kind and truly cares about his clients. The staff was very polite and ensured that all our guests have everything they need. They went around all the tables ensuring we are all happy with the food and drinks. All of my guests were very happy with the amazing food and desserts! The venue looked beautiful, especially the new Floor (Thank You Jas), and all my guests were commenting how nice the hall looked. The room looked glamorous, including the lighting and overall ambiance. Also, parking was enough for all of our guests. A number of my friends will be using RJ Rajveer Banquet Hall after they have seen how the place looks, the friendliness of the staff and overall amazing food. Thank you very much to(RJ Rajveer Banquet Hall for making my wedding a beautiful night to remember!

Given the current circumstances facing our world at the moment, the owner jas and the staff at commonwealth hall made sure our #covidwedding was nothing short of perfect! From the moment we sent our inquiry, everything was prompt and professional. We cannot thank jas enough for doing the most to accommodate us to the best of his ability given all the COVID-19 measures he had to ensure were followed. My husband and I cannot thank commonwealth hall enough for ensuring the health and safety of our guests was top priority. The cleanliness of the venue was inmaculate, there were more than enough sanitizer stations set up and every staff member and guest wore masks. jas referred to us to dj jazzy and topweddingdecor Service for our decor. All were available to meet us in a timely manner and over exceeded our expectations. Our decor was still beautiful even with chairs and tables being spaced out to abide by social distancing rules. Everything looked and sounded great! The vendors gave their honest opinions and suggestions in order to achieve the looks and sounds we wanted and best of all ensured we stayed within our budget. The day of the wedding I was treated like a queen by all staff from the minute I walked in to get ready. Everyone checked in on me to ensure everything was to my liking. The food was on point and delicious! jas came up to me and told me to enjoy my day he would take care of everything. Anytime my glass or plate was empty the staff was right there asking if I needed anything else. Best of all the chef packed my husband and I each a fresh dish of what was served to our guests for us to take home. We planned a work event here and it was great! The event went off with no problems and the Management and Staff were amazing to deal with. I was planning this event from another city and the Manager at the Commonwealth Center was able to help me with all the different contacts and services we required. My family and I have been here on a few different occasions, a friends wedding, and a couple of meetings and Christmas dinners from work. The place is huge and well maintained, clean bathrooms and friendly waiters. Food has always been awesome on all occasions and got to our table hot despite having over 550 people in the room to serve. Parking was a bit of an issue but the parking attendants helped us to find a spot, we had to walk like 3 minutes no different than other venues I have been to downtown but at least it was free here. Very underrated place, I think more people should know about it. I know for a fact that our organizers have always been happy with the service and friendliness from Commonwealth staff.

What a beautiful setting. This is the most gorgeous wedding hall I have been time to in Calgary. It's spacious with plenty of space for dancing. Plenty of parking. Excellent service too. The food was good but a bit salty, and not enough potatoes and veggies that is the only reason I gave it a 4 star instead of 5. But the presentation of food and the way it was served were excellent.

We were particularly pleased with how the hall was decorated on the day - Jas the manager/owner took our inspiration into consideration and was able to create a grand feeling through the decorations. Jas also worked with us to tailor the menu so that it was to our liking on the reception day. We had an overall good experience at Rajveer Banquet Hall and would highly recommend it to others. Albanian Canadian Association of calgary has been using the commonwealth Center for the last two years and each time it has been a pleasure to deal with Deepak and their entire crew. They are professional and very accommodating. They are also fair in pricing. Our events are 400-700 people each and they have shown that they can handle the volume. I love their space and parking lot availability. Their food is good and served warm even when we have a large number of guest. All of our events have live musicians and require a stage. Commonwealth can provide the stage and recommend decorators to outfit the hall. I’m a big fan of commonwealth and it’s facilities. 5 star!!!
