Great place for a wedding

My wedding date was July 31, 2021 at Pine and Pond, Without a doubt the best day of my life. Keith was a beauty, extremely understanding and professional to deal with especially planning this during a pandemic, fast email reply always on top of all the small details making sure everything was perfect. The day of the wedding every staff member was on the ball out of the way but always around to help out in a moments notice. The stay at the cabin was also amazing and glad we booked it. overall an amazing experience, Cheers to these guys for making our day unforgettable.

The most beautiful place to have a wedding! Pine and Pond was so great at communicating through out the entire pandemic process, there was a whole plan so we knew what to expect depending on the restrictions and Keith was always very quick to respond to any and all questions. We got to have our dream wedding and all the guests were so impressed with the beautiful venue. We also were able to go to the venue to do a couple small site tours as the wedding got closer to help plan the decor and where everything would be set up! There were a few small things that can be improved, the heaters were not on and it was a very chilly day so it was very cold when the girls and guys arrived, there was a bit of a sound problem with loud static during the dance, this was probably a combination of the sound limitation of the venue and possibly the way the DJ set up so make sure your sound person is aware of this and we should have confirmed how much help we would have with the premium package for set up as my day of coordinator didn't get as much help setting up the tables as we thought but these are very small details and overall we had the perfect day!! The honeymoon cabin was set up super cozy and warm which was much appreciated after a long day.

Beautiful and quiet venue. Really needs to be experienced to really feel the charm. Only possible downside is the gravel road to the north, which could throw dust during a ceremony if there were passersby.

Beautiful place but out in the middle of nowhere. There for a wedding which was beautiful but lucky the couple was fairly laid back. Siding wasn't finished on the reception area which was noticeable and where the bar was didn't seem done either. Otherwise it was well decorated, the grounds themselves were beautiful and it was easy to get to and from (just had to have transportation).

Beauty and the beast! Beautiful area. Annoying to deal with. Hope you're willing to part with your damage deposit. Was recently there for a wedding as part of the bridal party. First off it was still under construction that was supposed to be finished before the wedding... and It was a vary hot day, at one point we decided to open the flaps on the tent in the main reception area to cool it down. Then the owner came around and closed them all back up shortly after. Also the couple had paid an extra $500 for cleanup and we were Informed at 1am if the beer bottle and drink cups were not cleaned up they would loose their damage deposit. Lovely looking place. Would not recommend

We had our wedding at Pine and Pond on July 9th, 2021 and it was a day we'll remember for the rest of our lives. Working with Keith and the team there was a total delight. We had to move our original date due to COVID restrictions and they made the process so easy and flexible we were very grateful. Their team made everything so smooth and operate so well that we received glowing compliments from our guests that were able to attend. We had around 100 people at our wedding and everyone had ample space during dinner. The ceremony site is absolutely beautiful with the pond that surrounds it and they had a very nice area for cocktail hour proceeding the ceremony. Several guests told us that this was the nicest wedding they had ever been too so we were extremely happy how everything had turned out in dealing with Pine and Pond. If you're looking to have your special day, you will be very happy in hosting it at Pine and Pond as Keith and his team are 5 star service from start to finish!

Keith and the team were very helpful and to accommodate our wedding date, Keith even made the effort to communicate with another couple who had put the same day on hold (thanks Cindy!)! Even when there was a miscommunication on the beverage package provided, he made it right! Would highly recommend!

Nice venue. Picturesque landscapes, pretty creak nice look out. Large fire pit. Nice semi outdoor reception area. Definitely a drive from anything. Nearest gas is 30km. If your looking for a mega party this is not the place. Sound level cap of 85db.

As a wedding photographer I highly enjoyed my first wedding with pine and pond. The grounds are amazing for photos and have so many options with never having to leave. They made set up easy and have multiple rooms for getting ready and picture opportunity. I would highly recommend looking into them as a one stop wedding location, they even have camping for guests across the street!

Gorgeous venue, accomodating property owner and a perfect place to tie the knot. Its a very private place where we find so relaxing and intimate. No strangers walking around or watching your ceremony or reception. Its so easy to let loose and just be yourself and be vulnerable because its just friends and families who see you.

I give this venue 4.5 starts -- truly 1000000/5 for beauty and convenience -- Keith was so helpful and fast at responding to a plethora of emails. The venue was more beautiful than I ever could have imagined on the day of (August 2021). As someone who didn't have a wedding planner, the fact that they decorate, run a bar, and take down afterwards was SO helpful. I could have never had a wedding as beautiful if it weren't for Pine and Pond! My -0.5 is for the AV set-up -- the projector did not work despite us bringing multiple HDMI devices as instructed, and the mic quality was sort of mediocre. I am sorry to my sister who spent hours editing a photo slideshow that could not be played. The other unpleasant thing is that since I had my wedding during essentially the 4th COVID wave (where tf is kenney), I had asked all of my vendors who were handling food and drinks to wear masks. My food vendor (Evolution catering!) was considerate and professional enough to understand my concern, and I was SO appreciative. Unfortunately, when I approached the Pine and Pond bartenders on my wedding day about masking, they were very offput and eye-rolly about my concern. I understand I can't force masking but it was a disappointing response. As someone who masks daily for work, it's a simple matter that makes a huge difference. I wished they would have understood this, even just to mask for the 2 hours they were there for my event, which I paid for. Overall, really cannot complain -- Pine and Pond was beautiful and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. My recommendation is to still book Pine and Pond (you will not regret it) but bring your own AV equipment or look closely into AV prior to reception to make sure everything is working (ESPECIALLY if you have a slideshow or live music). And to time your wedding until after COVID is more chill lol.

We just had our wedding here last week! Keith was amazing to work with and the premium package is really worth it as it makes the day less stressful. Just bring your items ahead of time and they get it set up for you on the day! They have everything thought out for wheelchair access and have nearby bathrooms. You can rent the cabin to stay the night and there is camping options for your guests. They have such nice options for decor and work well under changing plans such as weather! We planned to be outdoors for the ceremony but ended up moving it inside the tent as it was rainy and snowy. It was still a little chilly in the tent despite having heaters on, but it was such a beautiful venue and we will cherish the day forever. Thanks again to Pine and Pond!

They have a great variety of options and are full of ideas to make your day special and unique to you. Due to Covid I had to cancel my original wedding date, venue, the whole nine yards. I knew that my husband and I really wanted to get married this year regardless of Covid. When looking for a new venue I found pine and pond and was wowed at the pictures of the venue. They had a Saturday still open that we snagged quickly. We booked the premium package and i am so happy we did. They set up the decorations i wanted to use of theirs and even our own decorations we brought. Any question I had along the way before the event got responded quickly. They helped me in any way they could. I knew that if the numbers dropped pine and pond had the ability to switch to just an elopement ceremony instead of the full day event and that was very appealing. We showed up the day of the wedding to seeing the venue for the first time and we were taken back. The venue and area is absolutely gorgeous and stunning. All my guests raved all night about how amazing this venue was. The fact that we didn't have to worry about set up or take down of items is such a plus. I would recommend this venue over and over again. The response and communication from the venue is phenomenal. They also gave everyone that cancelled their wedding this year due to Covid all their money back, even the non-refundable deposit. There is not a lot of venues you can say that treat this more then just money and a business. Keith and his family really care about you as a person instead of just a dollar sign.

I've been out to Pine and Pond to DJ a couple times. And both times, I have been impressed with them. This last time on Sept 5, I provided ceremony music for Shayla and Jeremy, and the outdoor ceremony venue is beautifully picturesque.with a wonderful pond and fountain. The reception venue tent is also great, with 360 degree view of their beautiful property. Also Keith is a very nice and professional guy. I would highly recommend you check out this rural wedding venue.

Although we have not yet had our wedding at Pine and Pond, I cannot say enough about this venue and the management. Planning a wedding in the middle of a pandemic has been incredibly stressful, however, Keith and his team have made it as smoothness as possible. They have continually sent out emails to keep us updated, with incredibly helpful information on how to navigate changing circumstances (ways to cut down wedding lists etc). They clearly have put a lot of time and effort thinking about the couples getting married during these times. Additionally, Pine and Pond has allowed a transfer of dates with no penalty, and has worked diligently with us to ensure our wedding can happen (allowing us to take a cancellation later in the year). I have visited the grounds on two occasions and am amazed by how beautifully kept it is. Every detail is thought out. I know there are a lot of venues coming out that have tried to copy this vision, but nothing compares. So grateful to be moving forward with a wedding at Pine and Pond!

I planned a styled shoot at Pine and Pond, and Keith was the most helpful, friendly, informative person. He showed us around every part of the venue. It is the most incredibly beautiful property and has ponds, and outdoor ceremony site, a cabin, a row boat, and an old school building. Everything is literally perfectly set up. If you're looking for a beautiful rustic venue in Alberta, this is the one. Check it out! I highly recommend.
