We couldn't have imagined our day without Lisa! We had never been to Alberta before, and knew we wanted a helpful and talented set of hands to take care of all of the details for our special day. Lisa and her team worked tirelessly behind the scenes, and treated our intimate wedding as importantly as one 10 times it's size. By the time we got to meet her on the big day, it felt as if we'd known her forever. She connected us with some of the best vendors in the province, and allowed us to soak in every moment of the day - one we will never forget. We highly recommend Lisa and Mountain Bride.

Just got back from my super wonderful wedding in the Fairmont Banff Spings coordinated by Mountain Bride, it wouldnt be such a beautiful day ever without their help! Lisa and the other ladies made sure EVERYTHING runs perfectly on the day of and so that I could lay back and enjoy my big day! I could give it 6 or 7 stars if there is an option for that! Lisa is very knowledgable and helped me planed a lot prior to the wedding, one thing I love about having Mountain Bride as our wedding planner/coordinator is that I get to meet her so many times and go through all the details for the last 10 months, not like other planners they just give you a binder and only touch base with you 2 weeks before the wedding. Lisa made sure I am happy, every family member is worry free and all the guests enjoyed their day! Definitely recommend to every bride out there looking for a worry free wedding!

We hired her for coordination; we did all the planning and she helped us keep on track and ensuring everything was ready to go for day of including making sure the day went smoothly with no hiccups and on time. It's clear she has been in the business for a while and is fantastic at what she does because she offered many small suggestions that made big differences to our day. What I liked was that we met several times leading up to the wedding to go over details and itinerary and being clear on what our day looks like; Lisa also made us think about things we didn't even think of. Lisa is amazing. She handled the coordination of our wedding at the Fairmont Lake Louise, and she made sure our wedding day was perfect and we were both completely stress free and able to be fully present for the day. I had complete faith in her to handle anything that might cause me or my groom any stress. She's incredibly experienced and knows what to watch out for and remember for every detail of the wedding. She also helped me find all of our other vendors, each of which were also amazing and did an incredible job. The day of her and her girls did a magnificent job styling our ballroom, making sure all the details were truly pinterest worthy. She was also a few steps ahead of everything so that things went smoothly. She kept us on time but also made sure there was enough space in the itinerary so that things didn't feel rushed. Getting married? This is the place to make it happen stress free and fun. Lisa and her staff at Mountain Bride are wonderful. From our first meeting where I provided a list of things we don't like about weddings to the morning after our great day there was no stress. Lisa provide us options for our budget and introduced us to wonderful vendors I would not have thought of or found on my own. We put our trust in her creative designs and could not have been happier. A touch of both of us in the decor was very evident. From the moose antlers holding flower arrangements to nuts used as napkin rings. . Mountain Bride delivered in ways I didn't think possible. Dealing with how we were going to get our guests into and out of the venue when we found out after booking that the street festival was happening the same night, to providing a detailed itinerary for the family so everyone knew what to do and when to do it so we didn't have to manage people/family. The entire Mountain Bride staff are friendly and professional. The entire family commented on how organized and easy they made the day. They also commented on how great is was to not have to do anything but enjoy themselves and the day. Thank you again Lisa. Do you plan anniversary parties?!?! When we decided to hire a wedding co-coordinator it was a big decision as it's a big expense. However, we can honestly say it was the best money we spent when it came to our Fernie wedding! We went with the coordination package as I already had a good idea as to the design I was hoping for and had purchased & collected much of the decor by this point. What we were really looking for was someone to pull it all off - and that's exactly what we got! I really enjoyed my planning meetings with Rachel over the months leading up to the wedding (let's be honest, my husband didn't attend any of these meetings!) - she totally 'got' my vision and was excited to help bring it to life. She has a host of things to consider which I would have never thought of and really kept us on track with planning & prep. She suggested vendors in Fernie and Calgary when I was a bit lost with where to look or who to choose. The itinerary she created for us was ever-evolving and fabulously detailed - we were able to share it with all of the people involved in our day to ensure everyone was on the same page. A couple weeks prior to our wedding I decided to add a "design consultation" meeting with Rachel to help finalize some of the finishing touches that I was having a hard time making decisions on. This was invaluable as Rachel suggested so many special details that really brought it all together. Mountain Bride also has a great inventory of rental items available that really fit with the 'mountain' theme and we used a bunch of. In the weeks leading up to the wedding she contacted and confirmed contracts with every one of our vendors for us. Together we confirmed the exact design of every table and space at our reception venue, the specifics for the outdoor ceremony set-up and the "plan B" details in case of rain. By the time the rehearsal came around my groom and I were free of all worries and duties as Rachel literally had every detail under control. We were able to enjoy the evening with friends and family and really soak in the day of our wedding as we were completely confident that she was on top of everything. Our wedding day was perfect! Any glitches were taken care of - when the hook & eye broke on the back of my dress while I was getting ready Rachel had fishing line and a needle ready to sew me in if necessary (luckily it wasn't!) :) When my shoe broke right before walking down the aisle Rachel was right there with super glue ready to fix it! She was completely calm, organized and professional which really helped us and our families to stay calm and worry-free. She truly brought our vision to life - when I walked down the aisle and later when we sat down at the head table everything was just as we'd pictured it to be. We also added the 'take down' package from Mountain Bride for the end of the night so us and our guests didn't have to worry about packing up and tearing down at 2am - what a relief. Everything was perfectly organized for us to simply pick up the next morning. The one thing I will make a note of is that it's good to be aware of extra charges that are not included in the package - for example mileage expenses, charges if meetings run overtime, extra set-up time for coordinator and assistants the day before/of the wedding, a hotel room night before/of the wedding, rentals... While all of these charges are very fair, it's good to be aware that they are not included in the package and will show up on your invoices. Overall we had a great experience working with Rachel from Mountain Bride and would happily recommend the company to future brides who are considering if the expense is worth it - IT DEFINITELY IS!

She put her heart and soul into our wedding at Cherry Creek Estate, treating it as if it were her own. We enjoyed every moment and it was beyond our wildest dreams! Lisa and her talented team maintained a positive attitude and the utmost professionalism throughout the entire day despite the intense +36°c heat, unexpected wind storm, and pesterous mosquitoes. We chose the Design & Coordination Service, which Lisa has down to a science! There were five aspects in particular that made all the difference: regularly scheduled meetings, plus timely communication outside of those meetings; a site visit to Cherry Creek Estate so we could do a walk through and envision the design; the tangible aspect of the meeting where she set-up multiple table design options for us to choose from; spending quality, uninterrupted time with our friends and family during the wedding weekend as we fully trusted her and her team with set-up/take-down; and the euphoric feeling as she walked us, with our eyes closed, to the center of the reception barn on our wedding day to do the big reveal of our vision come to life! Lisa, we appreciate you more than you'll ever know and we would not have had such a successful day without you and your team going above and beyond!

Lisa blew us away with how easy and incredible she made our wedding experience. We knew that we wanted a small helicopter wedding in the mountains and very soon - from there, Lisa picked up the ball and ran with it. She pulled together the schedule and all the vendors behind the scenes and made recommendations for everything to make our lives easier. Every recommendation she made was fabulous and exceeded our expectations from photographer, commissioner/mountain guide, cake, restaurant, accommodation, hair & makeup, the flowers... literally everything was amazing. The day went seamlessly. We knew the day was going to be fun, but no one expected that it would be THAT fun! My husband and I have talked over and over about how glad we are that we found Lisa. She was such a pleasure to work with, and her enthusiasm for our wedding and our relationship in general was made us excited every time we talked to her. She made our once-in-a-lifetime day the absolute best it could have been!

We began working with Lisa, from Mountain Bride, in February 2019. We live in North Carolina and were planning our dream wedding in Canmore for September 2020. From our initial consultation we found Lisa to be amazing. She asked how involved we would like her to be to ensure she did not overstep any boundaries. We informed Lisa that we would want any and all help available. Lisa provided us with options to make our selections but also made sure that we were not overwhelmed by the choices. Within a couple of months Lisa had all of our vendors confirmed. While Lisa was working on the smaller details for or September 2020, wedding, COVID-19 derailed our plans. She worked tirelessly to help us reschedule, for March 2021 and then, again, for September 2021. Lisa contacted all of our vendors to coordinate the new dates and ensure our deposits would not be forfeited. As we waited for the borders to open, Lisa assisted us in brainstorming ideas in case we had to postpone, again or alternatively, change to a US location. Lisa researched venues in the US for us. Fortunately in July 2021, the borders reopened and we were able to proceed with our September date. With less than two months before our event Lisa recreated a new plan with less than half the number of guests. She took in to consideration that the venue hadn’t changed and our concern that it would be too large for the new numbers. Lisa redesigned the reception room and kept it a surprise for our first look. Our wedding day was absolute perfection! It was more than we could ever have dreamed of because of the efforts of Lisa and her team. Lisa and Morgan ensured everything was on schedule and flowed effortlessly. Morgan was there throughout the day and evening to assist with any and all aspects of our day. Since the wedding our family and friends have raved about how amazing the Mountain Bride team were. We will never be able to thank Lisa, Morgan and the rest of Mountain Bride team enough for planning and executing our wedding with such perfection. It was truly our pleasure working with them. If you are lucky enough to have found Mountain Bride and her team, we can promise that you will be over the moon with your wedding and every moment leading up to it. We are absolutely elated with our wedding and we are still hearing about it from all of our guests and friends who were a part of our day. Mountain Bride - Lisa, helped my husband and I plan our incredible 170-person wedding in Fairmont Hot Springs BC in July of 2019 while we were living in the United States. Her timely responses and clear communication via email, Skype, and phone conversation kept our minds at ease while we were living out of the country and working to finalize major (and minor) details for our big day. When able, we also met up with Lisa at her wonderful studio in Calgary and she wasted no time delving right into the planning details. We were met with an open mind to our own ideas and also thoughtful responses when we needed guidance. With Lisa’s organizational skills and creative eye for design we were able to plan the wedding of our dreams: from babysitting services for our guests, RSVP coordination, wedding website design, save the dates and invitations, table settings, ceremony and reception seating charts, live bands, and precise (and on track) budgets – she really does do it ALL. On the day of our wedding Mountain Bride’s team were able to organize our bridal party and provided a schedule – down to the five-minute interval – to keep everyone on track! Neither my husband nor I looked at our phones or a clock all day as Lisa’s team ensured we were on time and prepared for the upcoming events throughout the day. Our dream was to have a short and sweet ceremony with long night of partying afterwards at our elegantly decorated ski chalet reception; Mountain Bride was able to fulfill every wish and beyond what we could have expected for our day! A couple of our vendors were personal friends of ours, namely our photographer and makeup artist: we were mindful in choosing a planner that valued relationships among the entire “machine” that was our wedding. Lisa and her team were able to graciously manage all our vendors, venue, (and some of our guests) in a way that we truly feel represented values we have as a couple and we are so grateful for her friendly and structured approach to our most special and memorable day. After our wedding weekend Lisa continued to help us with finalizing payments and addressing any loose ends that we felt that we had. We plan on only getting married this one time, but if we were to do it again, we would hire Mountain Bride again the world over! We recently planned our wedding, during the covid pandemic, with Lisa at Mountain Bride. She was absolutely fantastic. I can say without a doubt, that our wedding would not have been the incredible day it was without her. She was fantastic to work with, and made planning the wedding (in 6 weeks) feel easy. She took care of every detail, from the big things to the small things, and her and her team were so great to work with. All of our families and guests commented on how great and organized she was. We initiated contact with Mountain Bride after my fiancé and I were having trouble finding a ceremony spot in Canmore that worked for our date and timeline. Our first point of contact was a phone conversation with Lisa explaining our predicament. Within 2 days we met with her over a coffee and discussed the several ceremony spots she was able to find. After this conversation, we contracted Mountain Bride for 'Day of Wedding Coordination'. Rachel was assigned as our event coordinator and she was beyond amazing! The guidance and organization throughout the planning process was painless. With her expertise, planning sessions with Rachel were concise, fun, and often made those typically tough wedding decisions a lot more simple. Rachel and Briar (her assistant for our big day) made it a compete success! They took the time to get to know us and our vision for the day, and it showed. The ceremony space and reception was exactly as we had envisioned it, and they made sure everything and everyone was where it needed to be - when it needed to be there. We were so comfortable having Rachel there - knowing everything was taken care of - that my fiancé and I could just enjoy the day. For anyone looking for a wedding planner or coordinator; even if you're unsure if you need or want one - I would definitely recommend Rachel. We owe much of the success our day was, to her and the team at Mountain Bride.

Planning an overseas wedding from Australia was always going to be a challenge and Lisa was able to make our dream wedding in Banff 2020 achievable. The ceremony music was timed to perfection, all of the gear for the ceremony was seamlessly set up and taken down behind the scenes.. And the reception looked awesome!! It had all the styles we were hoping for and then some. The photos from Orange girl turned out amazing! (she was really great on the day as well we're so glad Kevin and her were able to do our photos). Thank you for all the other vendor choices as well. That's probably one of the bigger uncertainties is knowing who can deliver and all of the ones put forward were great! HONEST REVIEW ALERT - Where do we even begin? What started as a complementary session due to Covid turned into us hiring Lisa to assist with our wedding. Three months before the wedding we ended up having to change venues which in the end became a godsend. I, the Bride, had done much of the planning and hiring a vendors myself and at times questioned why we had hired Lisa. I felt as if I had done a lot of the legwork already. At moments correspondence was “short” though professional. When it came down to crunch time Lisa far surpassed our expectations. For example, the day before the wedding Lisa sensed via text I was getting a teensy bit stressed… She arrived at the venue, gave me a hug and told me “I got this”. And did she ever. The money we spent hiring Lisa was unequivocally the best money we spent. To be completely honest I don’t know how we would’ve done it without her. And while we never anticipated we would hire a wedding coordinator; I have a passion for floral arrangements and decor set up, Lisa proved to be invaluable asset. Lisa thought of details we would never have thought of. The day of the wedding we were able to completely focus on each other, our kids, and guests. Lisa is hard working, warm, intelligent, with a keen sense of style. She made our wedding effortless. We are honoured to recommend her. I wish I could give this more than 5 stars, or even title this review "what we loved about Mountain Bride". We came to Lisa with a vision of a beautiful mountain wedding, but no idea how to make it happen and no time to do it ourselves. We were facing many challenges, I was in Calgary working and going to school and my now husband was working in Edmonton. Without Lisa, I don't think we could have done it and looking back I wouldn't do it without her even if I had all the time in the world! People are still telling me it was the best wedding they have ever been to. From our perspective, we agree! It was breathtakingly beautiful, stress free, hiccup free, full of fun and every vendor involved was top of the line! For a few more specifics about what made our experience incredible, keep reading: 1. Mountain Bride flexibility: Lisa was so understanding of my schedule. Sometimes I just couldn't meet and that was okay. Sometimes I was unexpectedly late. Sometimes my partner couldn't make it. Sometimes we just had to Skype. And all of it was okay. She always made it work for me and she always used our time together effectively. She would bring vendors to her studio so we could stack meetings instead of having me go to multiple meetings around the city. She would answer my million emails with quick responses that were always helpful. This made wedding planning with her a joy. For people with high stress and unpredictable lives, this was everything. 2. Mountain Bride personality: We love Lisa. She is friendly and funny and incredibly kind. We loved getting to know her and she was always able to put me at ease while also getting me excited about every detail. Every interaction was a pleasure. She is also very professional and knows the business inside out. She was very easy to get along with and she never thought any of our own ideas were silly. She embraced them and brought them to life! When the big day came around, we not only trusted her professionally, but we also had developed a friendship with her. 3. The Big Event: Our wedding day was perfect. It was the most beautiful event I have ever been to and it is all thanks to Mountain Bride and her team. They kept us organized and took care of all the vendors, set up and take down. This enabled my partner and I to fully appreciate our special day. I had no stress, no concerns and it was the most fun I have ever had. The decor was stunning and I cried when I saw it. They had turned a few vague ideas on our part into what I can only describe as a dream. Gorgeous enough to be on a magazine cover and with personal details everywhere that really reflected who we are as a couple. Every member of Lisa's team (especially Lisa and Ann Marie), worked very hard and we appreciate it more than I can express. I could write a novella on my positive experience, but I will stop here. If you want an experience like ours (relaxed, fun and easy) with results like ours (a perfect day, a perfect setting and simply enjoying being perfectly in love), then Mountain Bride is for you.
