I'll start with a simple question for you who are considering booking here: Are you planning on having anyone there with allergies or food restrictions? If you answered yes, and you want them to still have any respect for you after- book somewhere else. Let me tell you about my experience of dining at Mirage. They advertised a separate table for those with dietary requirements at the beginning of the night, "Off to a good start I thought!" I neared the seemingly never-ending tables of food. "not bad" I thought, but didn't see the advertised special table.... I kept wandering... ah! There it is, but wait! There must be some mistake- why is there only 3 dishes on this table: rice with frozen vegetables in it (no soy sauce), a bowl of plain iceberg lettuce with red onions and a dish of roast beef on it.... surely there must be a mistake, surely a caterer and cook wouldn't hate dairy, gluten free and vegan people that much that they would only have these 3 very very sad dishes, surely they have some sort of imagination and could think of some food besides plain rice.... No. They don't. I almost gave a 2 star review because the venue decor was decent, but after writing about the food, I downgraded it back to a 1 star. Now you might think "hey, cooking for people with dietary requirements is hard!" Sure, it might be for the average person. But if it is your JOB to feed people for a living you should probably get good at it- heck get creative, try something new! Alternatively if you don't have that capacity- the $45 I paid them they could've ordered me my own specially made Blaze pizza and then pocketed the extra $32 and I would've been happier than I was after that terrible meal.

I am extremely impressed with Mirage Banquet. From the very beginning, the people there were so helpful and open to any questions that I had. We had a complimentary food tasting where we first got to taste how delicious the food is there!! It's honestly a perfect venue for a wedding - the Mirage provides all the linens you need so you don't have to rent any chair covers, table covers, napkins, curtains, etc. It cut down on price and also on set up time. They also have decorations there that you can rent if you'd like, like the beautiful backdrop that we rented at a reasonable price! We rented out Hall B (the smaller side) and it perfectly sat our 200+ guests. It made it feel like an intimate wedding. The staff there was great - from the bartenders to the servers. We were able to drop things off up to two days beforehand (as there was not another event the day before our wedding), and pick things up the next day. They were just so flexible and helpful. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for their dream wedding (or any event).

We held our wedding reception in Hall A which was perfect for our guest count of 300-350. The staff was professional and determined to making our day special and memorable. Planning a wedding can be quite stressful but having a venue like Mirage made the process enjoyable. Deepak was very accommodating and flexible to our needs. Mirage offered great incentives like an in-house decorator, a Photo Booth & lighting packages.. and the food is amazing!! Our guests could not stop raving about the food! Overall, I would highly recommend the Mirage Banquet.

We had our wedding at the Mirage Banquet Hall and Deepak was our event coordinator. He was truly amazing. He goes out of his way to make sure that you are happy with all the details. So he definitely took some of the stress out of planning a wedding. The mirage banquet hall itself was beautiful without having to have any extra decorating. The food was to die for (I've had food at many other venues that don't even compare). What do people remember at a wedding? -The food and the party! The servers make sure that the bridal party are fed first and they treat you like absolute royalty at the head table. The only thing that isn't really avoidable at most venues is the fact that you can only decorate your hall the day of the event (if you're only doing the reception there)- my suggestion for any bride is to have someone that you trust completely and do a walkthrough of where you want things set up and have them do it the day of for you. But raving reviews for Deepak and the service team at mirage as well as the food!

This place exceeded expectations. The decor is amazing and so much comes in their packages that we didn’t want more decorations. We had hall B and it was the perfect size. My hesitations before the day itself included the food and the dance floor. When you walk on the dance floor, it squeaks quite loudly but this was absolutely no concern the day of once music was playing. The tasting was quite underwhelming but the day of, the dinner was amazing and people were raving about the food. High praise to our bartender (provided by Mirage) as we had signature drinks and he was quick and professional

We had an event here for a birthday party. We had multiple guests complain that the bar closed early! after only 2 hrs into the party. A couple of my family members asked for certain alcohol which we brought in and the bartender said they were OUT! and they can clearly see it behind the bartender and had returned it to us as leftovers cause it wasn't used! On top of that during our meeting with the music DJ prior to the party, he was very CONFIDENT that he knows how to handle certain parties like ours so we trusted the guy. During the party, it was impossible to communicate with the guy and doesn't know how to improvise ( play any music) in the program even though we told him to during he kept gesturing " it's not in the program" . Truly gave the birthday celebrant a headache from all these stress but other than that it was good

This place is just so nice!! From the inside you wouldn't really expect all of this but the place is just stunning from the inside. I was here for a cousin's wedding and let me just say WOW. Food's great, decorations and lights were sick and honestly such a good time. If you're having a big celebration I really recommend this place cause it's so niiiice!! 10/10

Was the best man for my little brother's wedding here and the management and staff was very accommodating with all of our requests. Food was excellently prepared and the table invitation to the buffet was graciously coordinated by the staff. Overall night was a blast with what seems to be Alberta's Best service practice from the servers to the bartenders. Would highly recommend visiting the location for consideration on your next event.

We just had our wedding here in August 2018. It was fabulous!! The staff were outstanding, the food was delicious, and the DJ (we also HIGHLY recommend you use their in-house DJ) made the night the best wedding most of our guests had been to. I've been here twice the first time we were the last table to get to food and there really wasn't much left by the time we got there, and they weren't putting more out that was a huge disappointment. The second time I at least got to try the food which was mediocre at best and the entertainment, well it put me to sleep, and it put the whole table to sleep. I'm just glad I wasn't the one that paid for it.

Going to be having my wedding reception here in February. Admittedly, when I first checked the place out online I wasnt blown away, but when you see it in person, it's so much more beautiful. I was very impressed with the tasting they offered for their menu. We actually got to go to 2 tastings. One before we had even decided on the place, and one after we had booked the venue, to finalize our choices. Alot of the other venues we had looked at didnt offer tastings at all, or you had to book their venue first. I really like that they provide these tastings without pressure. Not to mention the food was delicious. The fish with the cream sauce was so good. I dont even really like fish. The options are unlimited there, and their in house decorator can make it look absolutely amazing in there. The gentleman in charge of the DJ and sound setup is very knowledgeable and their light options for the dance floor and ceiling are very customizable. There are 2 very generous sized halls and the tables can seat 10 people each. Lots of room. Super excited to see how our big day comes together, and cant wait to celebrate our big day in this beautiful banquet hall.

We booked Mirage Banquet for our wedding right before COVID began. With the no end in site for when the pandemic would end we decided to have a small backyard wedding instead. We called Mirage to get our $2000 deposit back and there answer was NO. They rendered no services to us and said the pandemic wasn't their fault so that is why they decided to keep our money instead of giving us a refund. One employee on the phone told me they kept 20 other couple deposits as well. They are a bunch of crooks and I would recommend no other couples book with this company. I wish Google would allow me to give 0 stars because that's all they deserve.

I absolutely love their food. Too many items and all are yummy. Ofcourse they do have an halal option. They have a bar too, so you can have your parties their. Easily can fit 300 people. And for muslim families you can have a divider as well so ladies on one side and gents on the other. Everything including bathroom is neat and clean.

We had our wedding reception at Mirage Banquet Hall A and everything was great. We received numerous compliments on the food and the in-house DJ that you can book. Approximately 200 guests were at our reception and Hall A was a great size for this many individuals. The Hall itself was very large, which is something we really liked about Mirage and something many of our guests said they liked as well. We were in contact with Deepak leading up to the wedding and he was extremely helpful. We had an excessive number of questions and he answered all of them promptly. Mirage was the same price as many other venues we looked at, but they included many things in their base price that other Venues only provided at an additional cost (e.g. chair covers, late lunch, etc.). Mirage and their employees were great and we recommend this venue to everyone.

Last week we attended a wedding reception at this location. We were happy the way they served, decorated, presented foods and deserts. Food quality and taste was great. They took care and greatly presented all menus. Almost all menu we tried and based on that we would say good place to go or rent. Two area they needed to improve. First their carpet was not clean at all or vacuumed, saw dirt on the carpet everywhere. Second, hot foods need to serve hot. We found many of them became cold which definitely not help those items considered as delicious. Thanks

The food was not great. Went for a Christmas party and it was very crowded. Parking is okay but in a dark corner. Seems like it's in a sketchy, dumpy area but was okay inside. The bathrooms were nice but water all over the floor, possibly from toilets not flushing properly. Wouldn't recommend... Looked into this place for my wedding and the prices were very high.

We had our reception event here in February for a guest count of around 300. Deepak and Arshad were prompt with our requests for decor etc. The food is quite good for Edmonton standards. The space itself is quite nice with modern aesthetics, and pretty good lighting. We think that the price we paid for the entire event is good for the quality of service we received. We would certainly host another event here for sure.

The first time we went to Mirage Banquet Hall to check out the venue, we knew right there and then that it is where we want our reception to happen after the ceremony. We got our own coordinator, Awaes who was nothing but helpful. Communication was easy - if Awaes is unavailable, Deepak will be there to answer. If you book with Mirage, you will get everything you need for the reception: beautiful interior decorations with draperies, dance floor and lighting effects; linens such as naps, sheer and table cloths; tables and chairs; and buffet style food. They also provide free food tastings to help you choose what food they would serve on the day of the event. Our guests absolutely loved the food and the dessert was included in the price. I definitely recommend using this place if you have guests from 150 and above, and you have a smaller budget. The amount of things we got from the package saved as so much for the price we paid for everything.

Deepak and Owais both did a good job making sure all of our needs were met. The food was excellent every time we've had it and our guests loved it as well. They are very punctual and professional in their delivery and setup so we never needed to worry that things would not be ready when we arrived. They were also very accommodating with any and all special requests that we made of them and often provided options themselves to make integration of those requests as seamless and hassle free as possible. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking to hold a celebration of any kind. They've recently completed some renovations as well so the hall is looking better than ever before.

The second we walked into The Mirage we knew this was the venue for the wedding. The ambience is warm and welcoming. We decided to go through the Mirage for DJ and Photographer which was an excellent decision. Both parties were professional and great to deal with. Also, made life much easier only dealing with one venue and their associates; at such a busy somewhat stressful time. The day of the wedding went very smooth and all staff were professional and friendly. The dinner was 110% superb. We all wish we could go back and have have a few more dinners. All our guests really enjoyed the evening - mostly due to the Mirage and their associates. Photo-booth was a hit with both young and old. Our wedding reception was held here over the past weekend and it was perfect! The staff have been amazing to work with from the time we booked until the very end of the night. We didn't have one negative review on the food, all of our guest were happy and had so much fun. The venue is beautifully set up and I found the staff went above and beyond our expectations. I would recommend this place to any one looking for a wedding venue, or even just hosting a large party.

My now wife and I sourced the mirage as one of many potential venues for our wedding this past Jan. Dealing with the Mirage was simply awesome. We dealt with Deep who was attentive and facilitated our event missing no attention to detail. His communication was clear and the packages they offer take care of EVERYTHING. Many other places we looked at kept nickle and diming away for things like napkins, chair covers, chairs, forks etc... All included at the Mirage. The venue also connected us with a great DJ service through an open house where we were invited in to try all their food at no cost! It was like a one stop shop. Other venues were making us pay to sample their meals and only provided a limited selection of what they would provide on the day. Our day went off perfectly as planned. Everything happened as we discussed it and no surprises. Pricing was very fair and Deep worked with us to ensure we had enough food without tons of extras. We had a few last minute issues with some of our guests and Deep quickly found answers. All our guests complimented the food and how the evening played out. I would highly recommend the Mirage for any event. They were super professional the delivered on everything they said they would going above and beyond several times for us. Truly a great experience. Had our Cristmas party here. The food was really good. The buffet had a little of everything for everyone. Lots of food. None of the tray were ever empty. The bus crew was really good. Very efficient and very polite.the bar staff were also very friendly. I would recommend using this facility for party needs.

Mirage banquet hall was amazing for our wedding. We loved it! They took care of everything and everyone had a blast! All the decor there is included so you don't have to bring in anything extra so no extra setup or takedown was amazing for us! That also saved us money in that area. The dinner was delicious! Everyone is still talking about how great the food was. They also took care of people with allergies and food preferences Only thing was that we just wished the late lunch was out longer because my husband and I didn't get to try it and by the time we got to it was gone but the late lunch was included in the price and not extra so that was so nice. Everytime I would talk to Deepak or stop by there he knew our wedding date and names right away right off the top of his head and he was also helpful and answered our questions right away Such a great venue!!!!

Our wedding was on October 21, 2017 and we were blown out of the water by the high quality level of service and food. They accommodated food allergies (nuts) and dietary restrictions (celiac) with ease - even traded out desserts that came from elsewhere to ensure a nut free environment. They answered every email and phone call of ours without making us feel that we were bothering them and didn't think that any of the small little details we were asking about were stupid. The venue itself is stunningly elegant without adding any decor and so much is included when you host your wedding there - they even will change out the lights that shine on the ceiling and walls to one of their 12 different colours to match your wedding colours. They have beautiful vases that you can use, the square mirrors to put the vases on and the rocks to put in the vases - all you have to do is fill it with your flowers. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to host our guests (who couldn't believe how good the food was) and us as a couple.

The food is always fantastic here! They have so many options for what you can book and use. They need an atm in each hall though. It's always a cash bar or you need cash for drink tickets and the only atm is in the hall a side so if you're at a wedding in hall b you have to go through to the other side and be a random person at some other wedding which is awkward.

We had our daughter's debut party here and it was wonderful. Deepak was so attentive to our needs and ensuring the event went as planned. The staff is friendly and fast. The food was delicious and all the guests seemed to enjoy it. We went with the light up dance floor and LED lights and Sam (our technician) did such a great job of getting people in the dancing mood. We would highly recommend it.
