Held a wedding here. Excellent facilities. Beautiful gardens and great place for photos. Worked very well and flow was great. Gazebo was awesome for holding service and spectators had ample seating for occasion. Nice place to reflect in and has a wonderful sense of nature. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

We had our daughter's wedding here at the end of August of 2017 and it was a great experience. The staff were very helpful both at the rehearsal and the day of the wedding and it was beautiful! I would highly recommend it.

If you want an outdoor wedding ceremony or ceremony and reception, Hastings Lake Gardens would be such an amazing place to hold it at. We had our wedding here on September 19, 2021 and I still cannot get over how beautiful it was and neither did our guests! Everyone was so enthralled by the venue! It's like a secret garden out there and they have 2 beautiful venues you can choose from to hold your ceremony and take pictures, even engagement pictures too. I didn’t had to do any additional decorations at all because everything was perfect! Lana was also extremely amazing to deal with. She was on top of everything and very flexible. We only had our ceremony held in here, but Lana was extremely flexible with any changes we had last minute either on the rehearsal or day of the ceremony. I also did not have a wedding coordinator, so she helped us with everything for the ceremony and gave us small little treats for my bridal party that just made the day more special. It was honestly such a magical day and the venue truly made it feel that way.

This property is gorgeous, well maintained and run by the nicest family. If you are looking for a lush garden, pond, old church, orchid and/or some unique stone ruins in a gardenscape.. it doesnt get much more "one stop shop" than Hastings Lake!!

We had our wedding ceremony here and we loved it. The venue is beautiful and practical. The owners were extremely helpful and accommodating. They were even able to make the day special despite the rain! Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful place for a wedding and/or pictures on the grounds. Lots of little spots for pictures. Staff was helpful though everything other than the grounds were shut down due to Covid.

As wedding photographers we have worked in just about every venue in and around the city of Edmonton. Hastings Lake Gardens is one of our favourite venues to work at. It has everything you need for a unique outdoor ceremony, complete with an amazing gazebo. There are so many options for your wedding photos because the property is so well maintained. The best part about this venue is that the owners Dot and Terry are such great people. We love every wedding we get to photograph at Hastings Lake Gardens. Highly recommend Hastings Lake Gardens for your ceremony venue.

Love love love this location!! It's so beautiful and serene and just perfect for our wedding! We had a small intimate wedding with people viewing online and everyone couldn't stop praising it! Lana is amazing and so accommodating; she didn't have to but she helped out on the day of and made everything so much more seamless and stress free. There is also a lovely room for us to rest in, where we "met" our online guests and took a bit of a breather. Highly recommend it for anyone who would like an outdoor garden wedding of their dreams!

Hastings Lake Gardens is an exceptional venue for special events. My daughter held her wedding ceremony there the owners and staff are amazing. Due to covid restrictions we had to vastly reduce the size of the wedding and they were so accommodating and kind. The grounds are stunning there are so many little areas and I'm very excited the photos we were able to capture to commemorate this special day. I highly recommend them.

As a wedding planner, you don't often get to experience a top tier venue and exceptional service at the same time. However, Lana and the team at Hastings Lake Gardens have done just that. Friendly, helpful and extremely organized, they are amazing to work with and really strive to ensure the best day for the couple and their guests. The venue is stunning, from the gazebo for the ceremony to the chapel for photos. Can't wait to work with Hastings Lake Gardens again!

Hastings Lake Gardens is a great greenhouse to purchase plants and gardening supplies and they also offer a fantastic venue for wedding ceremonies and photos. The gardens are beautiful and there are so many lovely locations on their grounds to takr photos. There is a beautiful little wooden church that the owners built that can handle a small wedding with 30 or less attendees. They book up quickly for weddings each year so I suggest you check them out and book as far in advance as you can.

Planning our wedding during the pandemic was very stressful to say the least. My then fiancé and now wife were forced to post-pone our big day numerous times due to unpredictable restrictions put in place. Lana was very understanding and great to work with during these times. She was very helpful and accommodating at all times. The garden is absolutely beautiful and there are so many different places to take great photos. Our photographer and videographer were really impressed with the garden and we received a lot of compliments from our guests. If you are looking for an outdoor venue for your ceremony or reception, I strongly urge you to visit Hastings Lake Gardens to see it for yourself.

Hastings Lake Gardens - this venue is absolutely GORGEOUS and has so many areas for wedding photos. Lana who runs the venue is so helpful and organized. I truly got my dream garden wedding. It felt like a fairytale. This venue checked the boxes for privacy, aesthetic, rain backup, and stellar photography locations. It is so well run that they can host multiple weddings a day and you won't bump into any other bridal party. I highly recommend Hastings Lake! 5/5 stars

Were unable to host our wedding here due to COVID-19 and the owners would not offer any form of deposit refund. The only solution was to rebook to another date, which still isn't viable under provincial regulations. Unimpressed with the poor customer service.

We got married in Hastings Lake Gardens on the 29th of June 2019! Working with Dot and Terry was like working with two of your friends. They were so welcoming and helpful from start to finish and super quick to answer any questions we had. Their property is a dream and we feel so incredibly lucky to have gotten married in a place that felt like the closest we had to home. Just a phenomenal experience overall. Wish we could turn back the time and live it just once more!
