We recently had Mel involved in the wedding of our son. Everything came off beautifully. Mel was an essential part of the success - I can't imagine what we would have done without her! She was totally focused, kept everyone on track, handled difficult situations with calm determination and was a consummate professional. Mel demonstrated excellent leadership skills. If you are still on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, or don't know who to go with, I urge you to think no further and engage Mel immediately. It will likely be the best decision you make.

Mel was seriously incredible. I was a full on DIY-Bride, until about a month out when I realized I had made more decor than either I or my emcee would have time to set up due to the venue contracts... Enter Mel! Within the month that I worked with her, Mel double checked every single detail of my day to make sure that I hadn't missed anything. She set up everything beautifully on the day, and just how I asked; she was super punctual and really nice to absolutely everyone. Seriously, my mother-in-law thought Mel and Dylan were friends of ours, they were that nice! Not only this, but she came around to my husband and I during the reception to make sure everything was going how we wanted, and on more than one occasion even brought me glasses of water to get me through the day. Just above and beyond, and I cannot recommend Forever After Events enough.

Oh my goodness Mel and her team were unbelievable! Mel met with us numerous times, and sent us regular emails to ensure we were meeting all of the requires to organize a successful wedding. The day of they made sure that both the ceremony and reception went according to plan and stayed on track. They did a beautiful job of setting up the venue and cleaning up afterwards. Mel and her staff are the best (and most important) wedding money you will ever spend. We hired Mel as a day of wedding planner in order to handle our strict same-day set up and tear down at our venue, not only did she execute that to perfection, but she ran the rest of the day with authority and professionalism. She kept the wedding on time, she handled guests who had too much to drink, she made sure the music was playing as soon as the band wasn't, and also that the music was shut off when someone was making a speech. She made our venue look absolutely spectacular, she cleaned up spilled drinks and broken glass, and she did more things that i didn't have to worry (or know) about because I knew she was handling it. At the end of the wedding she worked tirelessly to tear everything down, and she delivered everything to us the next day. Our wedding was such an insane amount of fun, and that is because we actually got to participate in it; instead of taking on the impossible task of running it. Mel's effectiveness at running a wedding with over 160 people in attendance really speaks to her organizational skill and event experience. Thank you Mel, and to everyone else: hire her. Trust me on this one.
