My wife and I recently used Julie for our elopement wedding at Lake Louise. We live in chicago and have never been to Banff before. Julie helped us every step of the way and coordinated everything perfectly. Helping us to the Banff office Saturday morning for our license, location at the Fairmont, limo, dinner reservations at the Post, wedding photographer, etc. We could not be happier. We work alongside Julie of Rocky Mountain wedding planners multiple times a month. I own a mobile hair & makeup company and I must say she is one of our favourite planners out of all the other companies we work with. She is down to earth, easy to talk to, and one of the few we actually see at every wedding during the getting ready process. She takes time to stop in with her brides and makes sure all is running smoothly or if they need anything at all. She executes your design vision beautifully and we recommend her to all our clients.

My wedding could not have been more perfect and it was all thanks to Julie. She was fantastic from beginning to end and I cannot thank her enough. She did everything. Met with us when we flew in from out of the country to finalize everything and walked with us to get our license. She made sure we got the photographer, cake and flowers we wanted. Drove me to our first look. Set up the reception, broke it down. Planning a wedding is hard enough. Doing it from 2,500 miles away is near impossible and I couldn't have done it without her. I highly recommend her.

if zero stars was an option i would have given Julie zero stars. My best friend payed for month of the wedding planning and what she got was disorganized chaos. Not only did she not make an itinerary, check in with vendors or help with anything the night before the wedding she wouldn't answer her phone the day of the wedding! When you are paying for a service that service needs to be fulfilled. There was no power for the DJ (something a wedding planner should have looked into months before the wedding), she didn't have the music nor ask for it (a bridesmaid asked if they had the music and then wow light bulb we don't) for walking down the aisle so 5 minutes after the ceremony was to start a bridesmaid had to track down the music. I sent a diagram picture with arrows of where the flowers from the florist for the cake where to be placed and when we showed up all she did was stack 4 dying roses on top of the cake.. The photo booth had the wrong couples names and wedding date on it.. which was realized AFTER guests had already been using it, again something a wedding planner is responsible for checking into prior. apparently a justifiable solution to that was having no names or wedding date just a blank picture roll for guests to remember the night. the morning of the bride tried to call and text in regards to transportation that was supposed to be arranged and go no response for hours. her and the groom ended up having to get a family member to drive them. absolute mess, maybe she just got a bad wedding planner out of the company but i would not recommend using Julie if you want your day to flow seamlessly.

We booked our elopement with Mountainscape Weddings, and it was a wonderful experience. The process to plan was simple, and our wedding planner Lynn was an absolute delight to work with. Every detail was taken care of for us, so we really only had to show up on the day! We cannot thank them enough for making our wedding day so perfect and special. Highly recommend!!

Julie was incredible to work with: she did an amazing job throughout the whole wedding planning process. She was quick to respond to emails & very organized, helping make the experience stress free. Her recommendations helped us secure the best professionals in the business; highly impressed with the whole team involved. I couldn't have imagined it all coming together so perfectly without her help. I'm sure there were hiccups along the way, but we felt none - and we had the most fantastic day of our lives! She's also great with kids and held little ones while wedding party members were busy at rehearsal & on the day of. And she coordinated last minute requests seamlessly, without hesitation. We hired MountainScape for both our wedding and event planning in August 2019. Katie Craig, our wedding planner, was the absolute best! She was friendly, professional and extremely helpful. I should mention we did everything by email and phone as my fiance and I are from Edmonton and MountainScape is in Banff. We never did formally meet until the wedding day and even my caterer had thought we were friends prior to the wedding as Katie is just that easy to work and get along with. She organized all the vendors a month ahead, contacted each to determine timelines and set up, and formalized a minute by minute spreadsheet of the days events. She took all our stress away which would have been to the extreme if it were not for her. We had a beautiful private ranch venue in Invermere B.C. (a destination for everyone involved) that had no amenities except a bar, some out-houses, and no running water. The MountainScape Team (MST) handled everything, from the organization of the reception, the cocktail hour and the ceremony. They provided and sourced out all the decor we would need from napkins, gold cutlery, wine goblets, to beautiful lighting and magnificent chandeliers with greenery draped along them. They did a site tour for us months prior to the wedding day and presented us with all the details we would have never thought of but would have been large issues if not addressed. They transformed the barn and other spots on the ranch property into the most magical place. I also had my florals done through them, they took my Pinterest ideas and delivered exactly what I had dreamed of. Many people asked me where I had got my florals from as they we so stunning. Katie, Georgia, and Naomi delivered everything to make our day perfect. Everyone said something would go wrong and with this team nothing went wrong. I cant say enough good things about them and would recommend them to everyone I know. They made the whole process for my Fiance and I effortless with their professionalism and wedding/event experience. When we first started looking for a planner I had put requests to other wedding/event planners and got simple short paragraphs outlining very little services with a large price. When I contacted MountainScape I got a two page email regarding everything they could do for us along with pricing, it was a no-brainer for us to choose them. I am forever grateful to the MST for pulling off the most amazing day for us. Thank you always, K&G

A friend of mine recently had their wedding planned by this company and honestly it was terrible. I feel so bad for my gf, an absolute waste of her money. What was supposed to be the best day of her life, was anything but. Do your self a favor and get yourself a different planner if you really need one. I had heard negative things in the past regarding the ladies who operate this business, and I feel guilty for not saying anything to my gf because I feel like this could have been avoided had I spoken up. Sincerely and Honestly I would stay far away from this company. If you NEED to hire a wedding planner, do your research so your not disappointed.

I initially started the planning process with Katie, who was absolutely wonderful to deal with. In the couple of months leading up to our day, Lynn had taken over the final planning details and was present on the day of. All I have to say is WOW. I could not possibly be more grateful for the team at mountainscape. The whole planning process was a breeze, especially during the pandemic. But I am speechless at how the day of our wedding went. I felt stressed out getting to the chateau, especially since we had our children in attendance. Here I am walking through the chateau in my wedding dress, pushing the stroller, not knowing where to go. Lynn finds me and completely diffused my stress. I would’ve been a mess if it weren’t for her and her assistant that day. They set up the location beautifully, chased our kids around so we were able to get married without any hiccups and they did it with a smile on their faces. It is impossible to overstate how fantastic Katie and her team at Mountainscape were in planning and delivering our perfect wedding experience. Right from the initial intake and consultation we were treated with the utmost care and respect. Even given the added complexity of having a ceremony in compliance with COVID-related restrictions, Katie and her team were up to the challenge and kept in consistent communication with us throughout the entire process to put our minds at ease. I used Julie and her team as my day of coordinator for our wedding as we wanted a stress free weekend for us as well as our family and friends not to have to set up and take down. They were more then I could ever expected. Julie answered so many of my questions months in advance, was quick to reply, created a timeline for us that worked perfectly. She met us the day before our wedding to grab all the décor, as well met my parents a couple days after the wedding to return all the décor. She made our wedding SOO easy and SOO stress free. The day of Megan did set up and take down, and once again I was blown away, the ceremony and reception set up was gorgeous and she took everything down at the end of the night so quickly and kept everything organized. I can't say thank you enough to these ladies, and I would for sure recommend them as our wedding went so smooth without our family and friends needing to do a thing

We found MSW online, and I was nervous initially as we selected this group sight unseen, but I had nothing but amazing, thoughtful and professional interactions with all team members, especially with Katie our primary planner.
