Astron Electric was great! Great phone service and Ted was quick to fix a number of small jobs around my home. I had been looking for someone to do some small electrical repairs for so long, but no one was willing to do my tiny jobs (replace dimmer switch, fix bathroom fan, fix pot-light, fix cord for a lamp). Astron was up for the job and quick to come out! Thank you!!!!

Absolutely don't use Astron Electric, very poor customer service and communication. First, when the guy showed up to give me a quote, he could barely keep up and I wasn't even sure if he got the specs of my request. I specifically if they could do the job within a week, and he indicated that they could do it. That evening I receive an anonymous email with no note with a document attached that had some barely legible writing on it with an amount but no breakdown of the job. I was a quite concerned as the cost I was given was twice what my normal electrician would give me. So, I sent an email and called asking for them to provide me with a breakdown which I never received. I then get a call back from them 5 days later lying to me that another job has come up. So, I push them further asking after telling them I've been waiting 5 days to get the job going and asked what is the problem. The guy then tells me he doesn't have time to give me a breakdown of what the job entails and then rudely hangs up on me! I have never seen such poor service.

Just called Astron Electric as I'm in need of an electrician...pronto. First impression is that this company is professional and courteous. Reception can really set the tone for a business ! While the receptionist wasn't able to give me a definitive timeline ( which makes sense ) she did assure me that one of her servicemen would contact me asap. I loved that. Now hopefully the rest of the crew will live up to the tone set by this very favorable front line impression ! 5 stars and holding....update to follow

Their prices are competitive for sure and the response time was great... all was good until I received a quotation from one of their electricians (Theodor/Ted) but lost his number. When I called again after a week or so, the same electrician called me back but this time the quotation went up by $50, when I asked why his response was: You're cheap, I don't want to do the job! I am writing this review three business days after complaining to Astron Electric Limited and them promising to call back, which they obviously did not. I am glad I took my business elsewhere, paid a bit more but avoided being insulted. So maybe their pricing is low but not as low as their level of professionalism and their respect to potential clients.

The Astron electric company Toronto knows every problem facing your wiring. I called them a few days ago when something kept my power going on and off, and they have sorted it out. What a secure team to work with. They never leave anything to chance. When modifying or redoing wires, they switch off the mains and advise you on a few security measures here and there. Right here in my house, I asked them as many questions as I could about my wiring issues and they explained in a language I could understand. They are so friendly and hardworking. Honestly, there is no hustle when working with Astron fellows. They simply do everything in a short time, clean the mess they create in your house and leave everything neat and orderly. Despite the fact that they can show up at any time you call them, they are not scared when they find out that your house has the old asbestos heat duct, plaster and lath walls or knob and tube wiring. They actually enjoy doing it. Most electricians around don’t like dealing with the old homes. Ted and Alex actually suggested a full rewiring and they did everything in a week!

Our project was an open concept renovation on one floor alongside a full rewiring of the second (which had all knob and tube) in our semi-detached. Of all the contractors we interacted with during those three months, Astron was by far the most professional, efficient and exacting in delivering on what they promised. We provided our own rough diagram of ideal plug and light placements and during our initial walkthrough Alex took our ideas and made them better. He had great feedback and ultimately helped us arrive at the perfect living space. Since completing the project he's been easy to reach for follow-on work and even dropped in to help ensure our basement electrical was safe after we did some demolition work. They're great, can't say it enough.

Alex worked on re-wiring a 100-year-old Toronto house and did excellent work to our house to handle modern appliances. His team was respectful and worked quickly. They were always on time and out before you knew it. They brought years of experience and made recommendations we hadn't considered, and turned out to be the best decisions ever. We had a tricky light fixture and asked them to do the necessary to hard wire them. Any "weird" lighting fixture you can think of, they can do it. We never found any issues with his work and he is responsive when we had any questions and concerns. He has a customer for life and recommend him to all our friends.

I am very satisfied with the Electrical Contracting Service I received with Astron. We moved into an older home in East York and the home required substantial electrical work (upgrade to 200A service, replace knob and Tube, new kitchen, consolidate panel, in floor heating, etc). The service has been awful. I called their office to ask for an electrician to come and look into my light problem at home. I got a call back from an electrician who asked me a number of questions (including whether there was free parking - which I don't have at the moment) then said he was not interested and hung up on me. I called back and someone said they would find me someone else. Two days later, no response. I'm seriously unhappy with the customer service but also the unprofessional way in which this has been handled.

I had called and made an appointment for some work I need done around my condo. He was over 20 minutes late. When he did show up, I had another electrician already here. This company just turned around, didn't walk in to see the work I needed done and said, "I'm not competing for this job". Completely ridiculous!
