We have hired Ian twice in the last 4 weeks. First, to help us install a subpanel for a generator, which was done quickly and for a fair price. A week or so later, we began having issues with a number of the outlets in one of the rooms of our home (completely unrelated to the panel installation). We called Ian, who gave us some troubleshooting ideas to try first. When none of the suggestions worked, Ian scheduled us in quickly, located the problem and made an immediate repair to a faulty outlet that had been installed incorrectly and later failed. Ian has been extremely helpful to us, and will be our electrical contractor of choice from now on.

We had HDI replace 30 year old light fixtures in our open living area with pot lights, which required adding 8 new outlets and adding dimmer switches. They replaced or added 16 pot lights in total. They worked quickly and efficiently and left everything clean and tidy when they were done. Ian is very knowledgeable and was extremely helpful with an issue we were experiencing with appliances in our basement. I highly recommend HDI to anyone looking for an electrician they can trust.
