Independent contractor only wants to come to my house at 8am. It's a tenanted property, so I cannot have him there until the start of business hours: 9am earliest, and I tell him any time after 9am will do. He says nope, 8am only because that's when he starts his workday. He then asks me what is he supposed to do for an hour between 8am and 9am? Amazing. I should have suggested peel potatoes.

I asked him for a quote to repair my kitchen outlets. He said "No" then proceeded to say that no one will come over for $150 just to give a quote its ridiculous. He could have responded in a more polite and professional manner.

John is an excellent electrician. I have had him many times. He is very trustworthy and know his stuff. He is the only one I would trust with my wiring. If I had to recommend an electrician to my best friend it would be Hunter Electrical.
