Entegrus operates in a manner that is unethical, unprofessional, and often times illegal. They make written Conditions of Service agreements which customers are expected to follow however they themselves violate the terms of the agreement constantly. They lie openly to the Ontario Energy Board (their regulatory body), steal from customers, and refuse to respond in any way to valid customer concerns.

Story goes as follows... we had a whole new energy saving heat and cooling system put into our place and I went from paying $300 a month in the summer and $500 in the winter due to electric heating down to $120 a month with the new system. It stayed that way for 5 months between $120 - $126 a month with the unit constantly running for a/c. Then winter hits and for the first 2 months of winter it stayed at $120 even with the heat going and then boom! All of a sudden my bills are back to near $300 a month. First of all this is down right ridiculous given the fact my heat and a/c run at the same power and constantly runs. So anyways, I call and the answer I get was “well compared to last year in the winter, your bill is still less”.... ummm I’m sorry what? That’s the answer. It’s complete BS. I’ve already had the unit inspected thinking it might be running higher power than usual but nope, nothing wrong with my unit. This is s.thomas energy putting in a more than double the rate at which they sell your energy. It’s down right thievery and I am awaiting a response from a 3rd party investigation company that specializes in consumers being taken advantage of. I would suggest checking into things yourselves when you have issues with this provider. It’s very suspicious and red flagged. I for one hope this gets resolved through any means and if it means I need to move out of this providers area or join a class action lawsuit then so be it.

Worst company we've ever dealt with hand's down. We notified them we were moving and gave them our forwarding address for our last bill. We received a disconnection letter in the mail today for our previous address. Had to call them so they don't potentially cut-off the new owner's services. As well as to make sure they're not still not charging us for previous address. We're so happy we never have to deal with them again. They will also disconnect your services over $10 so beware and pay your bill in full. Customer service is hit and miss, they're either really nice or really rude.

they show up an knock on your door. and when you do not open the door because you are sick of the door to door sales people.. they go ahead and do as they please and change out your meter without a single phone call or even speaking to the home owner!

Just called to inform about a Power Outage in the area; I can understand the company might be bombarded with the calls, but the tone of the phone receiver was not appropriate at all! You do not behave unprofessional with your customers.. When I suggested that why don't they update on the outage on their Twitter/Social media handles, I got another tone as if she was trying to say @shutup and we do not want you to teach us! Really need them to work on efficient customer service.

My experiences with this business have not been pleasant,and the counter people are pre-programmed with ignorance.They could be replace with programmed robots that have more customer services suave and sympathy. What a poorly run monopoly! The customer is usually wrong here! Rick Lalonde

heartless company whose main goal is to make the share holders rich on the backs of struggling poor people. lousy customer service, website provides "scoring" for customers, since it's a monopoly they'll stay lousy with no motivation to improve.

I dont like them cause when u try and ask questions they put u down and 100% say your wrong. They estimate your bill.it charge u for more the 30 days. I could go on with complaints but what good would.it do.they wont do nothing for ya

Haven't ran my AC for over a month, every light in my house is LED and we're doing midnight laundry to avoid the premium charge for existing during daytime hours. All of that and my bill is still $250 a month. Shameful.

Terrible customer service and company in general. We moved and I had to call over 6x to get my new bill for the new house. Every interaction I have had has been painful - even something as simple as changing the phone number on file has been a nightmare experience.

Cut off our power...instead of the house 10 doors down. Then proceeded to hang up on us when we called to correct the issue. Not only was the lady on the phone extremely rude, instead of helping us fix THEIR issue, she suggested we pay our hydro bill and hung up...every time we called.

Google needs to update their services and be able to leave a half star review, and I think with the Entegrus company in St Thomas that would be generous. Called to avoid an issue with hour metre not being read for the second month in a row, mentioned that ever metre has been estimated a few times in the past few months and was told that I was wrong it was just last month and this month. Was explained that they are not going into people's yards for covid-19 reasons. Which makes no sense because our new neighbours metre was read an hour's using idli on the other side of the fence from theirs. Easily accessible from that distance. I was told that the card they left explained it was for covid-19 reasons, it was not. Had a problem with them back in February when our usage was estimated double what it actually was and received an awful shock on our bill. And with them now subcontracting who does the metre readings, there is no accountability with problems you have with the readers. There has been nothing but problems since Entegrus took over St Thomas energy.

We had paperless billing until we changed our email address then everything went pear shaped. We lost all contact with our account. We have spent hours and days trying to register, re register, and talk to staff about the problem. Nothing works. If we changed our street address would you be able to change that? Why is changing an email address impossible? Anyway, it's back to getting our bill by snail mail.

You can not have power down on a Saturday night at 4 pm when other areas are up ( Port Stanley as an example) for no apparent reason other than wind. Wind is constant. This is not okay for new customers from London.
