I was looking for places to get my laptop fixed. I'd just moved here recently and definitely had no clue where anything was.....????let alone a computer repair shop. Well thanks to people leaving reviews, it helped me find a place, so thank you for everyone that left reviews, it really does help. So I decided on Munroe's. Perfect choice. Couldn't asked for better service and Mark was the best......very funny, kind, honest and very techno savy. They're honest with you and explain to you what's wrong, which Mark had to do a few times with me,???? thanx Mark ????. In my opinion they enjoy their job and its not all about the ????. A repair was not repaired. I was told it was completed and ready to pick up. I come home to find out its not properly connected and still needs to be properly repaired . And I was charged for an hour of uncompleted work.

Staff is not exactly welcoming and friendly, and can be downright patronizing. Often treat you like you don't understand anything. I don't personally know anybody who feels that the staff is friendly, and I know of one person who outright refuses to shop there and instead searches for her parts online instead in order to avoid dealing with them. On top of this, a lot of the parts don't have prices on them and are marked up very heavily, and are not generally good quality parts - in fact, most of it seems to be cheapo bargain bin components direct from China. Finally, the store hours suck sooo bad. Because they are only open Monday through Friday 8-5 and Saturday mornings, it means that if you work a normal day job, you are left with going on Saturday morning to buy, browse or return a product if needed. These hours suck bad enough to cause me to usually shop online if I can help it. Basically, the only thing this store is any good for when it comes to any individual customers is if you take your lunch break at work to get a component for something that can't wait for the 2 day shipping from Amazon and you don't mind garbage customer service that will make you feel like a burden and don't mind purchasing subpar quality parts and cables at steep prices that will take you by surprise because nothing is labeled with pricing. Avoid when possible.

Munros was a good store for computer hardware, I find now that it has been three years since my last visit that their selection is awful. Staff is friendly, however, the gentlemen that I was talking to was trying to convince me that I can get same performance on one CPU compared to another, when I knew that was wrong. I think it is more of a place I go in an emergency and not where I buy parts to build a PC. Three years ago that would have been different. Three years ago the selection was amazing.

every time i come here they have better and better quality products. easily best place to buy computer hardware in the city. I'l never go best buy or staples again. i'm sure if they dont have it they can order it. example- best buy stocks mainstream trash products like razer and corsair- and staples is 100% a business depot. couldnt even find and m.2 hard drive there lol. got a wall mount for my 50 inch tv for 14$. i couldnt buy the bolts it came with for that price at canadian tire. if i cant be patient and order from memory express i go here 10/10 nick knows his stuff
