Requested technician come out to my house because my dryer was not heating up. The lady on the phone said someone would call me with an appointment time. 4 hrs later I called back. The lady on the phone was VERY rude and cut me off while talking. She said "yeah we're coming out on Tuesday". I should have ended it right there.
The technician came on Tuesday and told me the part I needed, and that it would be 2 weeks to get it from B.C. I said "fine, order the part". They make you pay for the service call and part right then, before the appliance is fixed. That was 2 1/2 months ago. When I called after 2 1/2 weeks, I was rudely told that the part was not in, and they would call me once it was. The lady on the phone did not even say goodbye, just hung up in my ear. After 4 weeks, I called again. The lady again was extremely rude and again the part was not in. I asked her to please track the part and tell me when it would be in. She said that they don't do that. I said "so, it could be 6 months?" She responded, yeah, it could be. I asked her for the part number, and she said that she couldn't give it to me. I just called them again and this time spoke to someone who was least a bit more helpful. She said that the past was on back order from BC, but she noticed there were a couple in stock in Ontario. She placed the order and said that it would be in on Tuesday (5 days away). I asked what would have happened if I had not called, and she responded that they would have waited until the part came in from B.C. Do not even bother with this company, especially if the lady who clearly hates her job is working there. So incredibly rude, unprofessional, unhelpful, and just plain disrespectful. Plus there is no follow up. I could have been waiting forever for that part, and have a dryer that I couldn't use.
