Great Emergency Service! Called them at 7am when we woke up with a broken furnace and -30c outside. House was getting colder every minute. They had someone out in 30 minutes to repair. It turned out to be a simpler fix and the cost was very reasonable for the rapid service. I would definitely call them again!

I have a commercial shop in Fort Saskatchewan. The heater was not working properly. It was winter and I needed someone quick. RAM showed up in under 2 hours. Had my heater replaced same day. One year later the heater was not working. RAM came back same day I called them. Replaced a sensor switch that was no longer working. I was expecting a bill for replacing the switch. No charge! Travelled to my shop, sourced the part and returned and had it fixed all in the same day with no charge. I recommend RAM and will continue to use them.

Absolutely fantastic service! Got some work done and the knowledge/ professionalism was exemplary. Highly recommend using RAM!!! Wow! I previously had some work done with RAM, so I decided to go with them for an AC unit install. I seriously can't emphasize how awesome this experience was. For someone that doesn't know much about this stuff, RAM took care of it from beginning to end. The professionalism and expertise was unparalleled and the work was not only done quick, but at such a good rate. The three gentleman that came were courteous, hard working and so professional. I was advised to call Ram mechanical by Carrier as an authorized warranty provider last year. The secondary heat exchanger in my furnace failed, rendering the furnace unsafe (2 years old). The Ram “technician” arrived a few hours later. At first everything was fine as the disassembly took some time. I was told the problem was common and was completely covered by warranty. The new secondary heat exchanger was delivered by another Ram technician. Several hours later, the technician was still not done. Thankfully I had 2 gas fireplaces to keep the house from freezing. I went to see the progress. I was shocked to see the technician had barely even started reassembly. I was even more shocked when I saw that the technician had used some old parts to combine with the new ones, because he couldn’t get the screws to start in the new sheet metal. I tried holding the pieces in place, however, it was clear that the technician had never done this job. I ended up taking the drill from the tech and completed the job myself using only the new parts. Now some 12 hours after the tech arrived, the furnace was working again. The tech returned the next day to retrieve the old heat exchanger and run some tests. Everything was fine. I signed for the warranty work completed. I was never informed or signed for any charges. Here is where the real problems began. Approximately 6 weeks later, I received a phone call from Ram, that my account was overdue and I had to pay. I spoke with a very nice lady who stated she would look into it. Same day the lady called me back, and informed me that it was their mistake and everything was covered. I thanked her and considered the matter concluded. Then 6 weeks later, same phone call same result. Another 4 weeks later same call, same result. I was starting to get frustrated, but chalked it up to bad bookkeeping. I moved from the house. Over a year later, I received a letter and phone call from a debt collection service stating that I owed Ram mechanical a random amount of $492. The total warranty work was thousands, so I was even more confused. I called Ram and was told they would look into it. A few days later a “service manager” called me back and apologized for all the confusion. The manager went on to say the account could be concluded if I paid $96.00 with my credit card over the phone right then. I didn’t trust a word the manager was saying, and have been trying to clear the issue up for over 2 weeks. Multiple phone calls to Ram mechanical to speak with a manager have gone unanswered. I have perfect credit, have never missed a bill payment in my life. I never post reviews, however, I wanted others to be aware. Hopefully my experience is not common. Beware of using Ram mechanical.

Just after Xmas I was having issues with my sewer line -- it was plugged and backing up in my laundry room. Prior to calling RAM, I had two other plumbers out to my house that were unsuccessful in cleaning out the line with their snakes. At about 1am I called RAM, they were out to my house within 30 minutes -- not only did they have an industrial sized snake to fix the problem but also offered a camera service so we could see what was happening and how far down the line it was. RAM will be the only company I call in the future for my plumbing issues -- thanks again.

My husband and I had Ram Mechanical do preventive maintenance on our furnace and hot water tank. We just bought the house and the hot water tank had been leaking, ran out of hot water fast and we ask Ram Mechanical to replace it. A Ram representative came by our house and assessed that with a new safety valve and some inner components they could repair the tank thereby saving us a few hundred dollars. Imagine my delight and surprise. I would recommend Ram to anyone. They were courteous, honest and professional!

My wife and I bought an older home and have had many plumbing issues. It was a bit of a nightmare and of course I'm always worried of getting overcharged for a job that's not fixed, and then having continuous issues that I have to pay for over and over again. Ram was surprisingly fast and accommodating, very friendly and most importantly they know what they're talking about. The job is done right the first time and I trust they're being honest with me and are very reasonable with their quotes. I trust Ram more than any other plumbing contractor that I've used in the past and will continue to use them. We're hoping to purchase a new furnace soon as well and will definitely be calling Ram for that too. I will continue to recommend Ram to everyone!

On May 10th Shaun called me to apologize for not returning my call back in Feb. Offered to make it right in any way he could. I do not need any service right now but I am very happy that he followed up to see if he could assist. Very professional! Called on a Friday morning for quote to replace hot water tank and promised a plumber would call me back know some urgency to the situation. Did not get a call back and would not recommend this firm!

Ram Mechanical was referred by a friend and they didn't disappoint. The employee who came was friendly and very thorough. He could have walked away after fixing the leaking pipe but he checked everything and luckily he did! The pilot light was out and flooded from the leak. Along the way he even provided education about how the hot water tank worked, trouble shooting furnace errors and different types of pipes. I will be using RAM mechanical in the future for all heating and plumbing problems.

I wish that I could give these guys 6 stars. I was recently left high and dry at a critical point in my project by another mechanical company when a friend recommended them. They came to the rescue right away, and the guys who showed up quickly devised a much more efficient and cost effective solution to the mess I was in. They even went so far as to bring in their own electrician when some wiring needed work and it only cost pennies more than the original estimate! I can't emphasise enough how pleased I am with their work.

He took the time to explain what caused the blockage and I felt that he went out of his way to ensure that he did not make any unnecessary mess. Our sink is working great again. Our kids and us were having headaches for several days. We suspected carbon monoxide and plugged in a brand new CO detector and sure enough it confirmed our suspicion. We immediately contacted ATCO (Thurs Dec 10, 2015) who came onsite and confirmed that we had high levels of CO and narrowed it down the source to the furnace heat exchange unit. We contacted the furnace manufacturer, who admitted they are aware of this issue with the furnace and suggested a few certified repair companies. Unfortunately, those companies would not be able to come out until 2 to 4 weeks later at best and still would have additional cost even though the manufacturer would cover parts and labour. In that context, we started to consider our options for staying elsewhere and rearrange our Christmas plans. Luckily, one of our neighbour knew of Ram Mechanical and made a call on our behalf. By early afternoon on the same day, we received a call from Sean (in Edmonton area office) and minutes later Sean contacted back and confirmed that Ram Mechanical has the parts and can be onsite first thing the next morning to resolve the issue at no cost to us. As promised, a friendly technician, Curtis, showed up first thing on Friday morning and got started. By middle of the day, the furnace was fixed and working perfectly. Thanks to Ram Mechanical, we did not have to relocate and our Christmas plans to host families coming from out of town remains as initially planned.
