Breaker keeps tripping when using microwave and oven at the same time. JLB diagnosis was wrong wiring and the whole thing had to be rewired and will send a quote for the work. Took my payment but no quote, had second opinion and wiring was good and just needed to replace circuit breaker with higher amp.

I cannot express how much appreciation I have for this company. Never before in my life have I been so blown away. I had a breaker blow and the start of an electrical fire in my rental. My landlord initially cheaped-out and hired a low end worker who for 3 full days could not find nor fix the issue. On the fourth day Chris and his team came out, had isolated the issue within 30-45 minutes and had it repaired in about the same time. They also vacuumed and cleaned up after their mess and the mess of the previous lesser electrician. If you’re looking for friendly, efficient, and value based service; look no further, there guys are it. Not only did they crush the competency of the competition, they tiptoed around the home knowing I work from home. The amount of mental stress relieved is unparalleled. And to think of the money my landlord could have saved having this issue fixed in an afternoon, rather than 4 days of half baked buffoonery, it goes without question. If you’re in need a friendly, fast, and quality service, or an issue fixed promptly, do NOT hesitate, these guys bring the value. Don’t settle for less.

Had issues with power going out in some fixtures in our condo on a Friday night. Called early Saturday morning and one of their technicians, Cory, came out by 9am. Incredibly nice, professional, put up with all of my questions and concerns and was able to hunt around our old condo and solve our issue. Very impressed and would definitely be a repeat customer if the situation were to arise. Easy 5 stars!

Chris was awesome. I described my problem regarding electrical issues in my house with only half the power working. It was weird as ive ever had this issue before except when the power box needed to be reset but when that didnt work and exhausted my options, I then called JLB electric as they were one of the only available after hours. He suggested that it might be a issue with sask power and recommended to try them first. Then call again if its not sask power. He was right, even if it was a small concern, it was big to me and I deeply appreciate your help and direction. Im saving money for a bigger project and your my first pick when that time comes!

I had JLB Electric come out to do an electrical inspection for a client who was buying a house with aluminium wiring. Chris was able to get us booked in quickly which was important because we needed to get the inspection done before removing conditions. JBL came out and did the inspection, had a well written report for the buyer and we were able to remove conditions with confidence. Next time I need an electrical inspection or other electrical work I will be calling JLB.

Poor service from JLB electric. Didn’t perform the work on the quote. The quote was for two new lines run to a junction box about 20 ft from the panel, and to have switches and plugs inspected in our basement. While working from home, two employees of JBL electric came to complete the work. The employees completed the first aspect of the quote which was running the new lines from the panel to the junction box. However, the plugs, switches and lights were not inspected as quoted and we were charged for the work. When we asked the company for justification, they sent us photos from when they first visited the house on a service call which was separate from the work which was quoted. This was known because the basement was painted in between when work was quoted and work was completed. The employees were here for two hours and the price was over $1,000 with very few materials required. Would not recommend this company or be very careful with making sure work is completed as quoted.

We had an emergency call. Instead of sending someone out and charging us, Chris looked at some photos of the breakers and said we should see whether it was something SaskPower should fix. It was. He was a great help. Will call JLB when we need work done.
