Spring of 2020 we bought a new house just days before the first Covid lockdown hit. We wanted to do things right and have a “forever home.” So part of the renovations would be to overhaul the energy infrastructure of the place: completely removing the oil, upgrading the electrical, adding heat pumps and adding solar panels. I wanted to be fully modernized and maybe some day soon be able to easily add a charger for an electric vehicle. We used Condor Electric because they had the expertise in not just solar but all of the other things that you might want to do along with it. They pulled together EVERYTHING. Pulling all of that off during last year's pandemic summer was a remarkable feat and it was completely organized by Donnie at Condor Electric. He even took care of the coordinating the paperwork with the rebate and financing systems for the solar and heat pumps. Use Condor Electric if you want to really have a modern energy system. As far as just solar, our system is not exactly simple. The original proposal was to maximize the energy efficiency and rebate, making sure all South-facing roof surfaces are full. We wanted more, and Condor worked with us to come up with a max design that ended up at 43 panels. They were very accommodating and put in the extra work to make sure we understood our options and got what we wanted. I highly recommend them because you never know when something is going to turn out more complicated than anyone planned, and they know what they are doing. Beyond impressed.

In early June of this year, (2021) I was looking into a roof solar panel project for my house. A request for quotes and project description was sent out to 3 different Solar Panel Installers. I received 3 quotes, one of which was from Condor Electric. Condor Electric (Donnie Dominix) was the only one of the 3 Companies to do a “follow up” on it’s proposal and quote, and the only one to come to my residence to discuss the possibilities of my project. Donnie explained to me, the different steps from start to finish, a project like mine would entail. Once the work on the project was started, Donnie would always call me beforehand and request permission to be on my property and what work was to be done. He was quick, efficient and located the problem in a timely manner. Given the age of my condo building, the wiring was tricky and it did not make sense as to how the outlets were connected. Rather than simply taking the job and doing the install, the owner, Donnie, went through what he was going to do and why. He even suggested moving the location of the heat pump from the original location so that it could operate more efficiently, this saving me money and ensuring the heating in my home was even. This Spring during the Covid pandemic we had a solar roof designed and installed by Donnie Dominix, owner and operator of Condor Electric. From beginning to end, despite shipping delays and losses and other unexpected treats such as faulty wiring that he had to replace before he could begin the electrical work, and a generator and two propane tanks to deal with, Donnie held the job to his promised time and cost. He was steady, a gentleman, and thoroughly professional, working mostly by himself. I suppose that every solar installion must be unique, and each must be designed from scratch for the location, budget, roof configuration, and who knows what other details. Donnie selected the components that we are confident add the most value to the system, which was complex, with 44 panels in 5 solar arrays and two inverters with integrated DC disconnect. He also set up the Sense app for us, which lets us see into our power production and use. End result? Peace of mind in a big way! Now, even on a cloudy day, our roof can generate more power than what we use, which is substantial, as it includes an electric car. Oh, and not a shred of trimmed metal or loose screw left behind. Donnie went beyond the call of duty here, more than once.

Had Donnie install an ets unit. Good communication listened to what I desired filled in my gaps in information installation was smooth and clean way less invasive in the fishing than I expected. Prices were good and now have the perfectly sized ets for what I wanted and am on time of day metering. Would recommend
