STAY AWAY! Having just moved into a new home I wanted the TV in my main living area mounted above the fireplace and thought this would be a straightforward process...boy was I wrong. The problems first started when the website allowed me to select pretty much any date and time for an appointment, but then days later (and just hours before the appointment time) I received a call saying they could not do the install and they'd have to reschedule. The person that phoned me proceeded to tell me about an employee being injured/sick, and about an employee being on vacation (including where he was on vacation), as well as an employee that had a broken down car that was in the garage and he didn't know when he'd be able to get it out. I get it, things like this happen, but it is completely inappropriate and unprofessional for this company to tell a customer all of these details as an excuse for why they have to reschedule. Totally unprofessional.
I received a follow up call from Matt offering to 'resolve' the issue and he repeated the situation and made a handful of excuses about why the website is wide open for bookings when in reality they do not have all those time slots available. He also repeated some of the same excuses divulging to me employee's personal situations and basically saying that was the reason why they couldn't come during the time I booked. Again, how unprofessional.
When using the online booking system, you are forced to make selections regarding your installation. Having never had a TV mounted before, I was unfamiliar with how to answer many of the questions or what type of set up I wanted. However, because the online booking form forces you to make a selection I took my best guess. At the last step of the booking process in the general comments section I indicated that I was unsure of some of the installation options and that things may change once I spoke to a technician.
On the date of the second appointment (days after the first one was cancelled) a tech showed up with ONE TV mount. I was unsure which mount I wanted and made the incorrect assumption that this was a professional, fully outfitted business that would have at least some inventory with them. Not the case. In addition, despite having sent Matt a text message with a picture of my TV and setup and having mentioned I wanted the wires concealed (a message which he never replied to), I found out on the day the tech arrived it was not possible. Having already been inconvenienced and needing to reschedule I was not impressed that now I was finding out some elements of my install couldn't be done and also if I wanted a different mount they didn't have it with them and I'd have to be rebooked AGAIN!
Dissatisfied I called Matt and expressed my displeasure. His response was the I should have been more specific on my order (apparently a general comment at the end clearly stating you're uncertain about some of the choices is not sufficient). When the company received that work order they didn't follow up to find out what questions I had or attempt to answer any of them. As well, Matt didn't reply to my text message when I shared pictures of my TV and the install location and indicated I wanted the cables concealed in the wall. Having all this information in advance would have allowed me to decide if I wanted the service at all. Instead they wasted days of my time only to find out the way I wanted things installed could not be done.
If anything goes wrong with the booking or the install the company will tell you just about anything as they're experts at making up excuses. They blame their employees and share their employee's personal situations (as a plea of sympathy simply because they're not properly staffed and resourced), they blame the technology (website) on a lot of the logistical issues, and I must have heard a dozen times about how they are a new company and don't have money to do certain things (such as improving the website). This is the most disorganized and unprofessional company I have ever dealt with! I definitely do NOT recommend!
