He has an old world ethic that is hard to find these days and spent a few very long days getting the job done. He is also very particular and everything has to be just right...we sailed through the ESA inspection. Very highly recommended and he will be back for more work here very shortly.

We needed a breaker panel replaced (finally affording it after 30 years!) would of loved it done faster--but you can't blame the company for Spring taking forever to thaw outdoors, or Covid issues! Our old breaker panel was full and we needed a new breaker panel to accommodate additional circuits. We knew that this could be achieved via either a new breaker panel or a pony panel. We called Joe Pesce and he came over to examine our electrical system. He provided us with clear advice along with the pros and cons of both options. He later provided us with a detailed quote via email which we accepted. When Joe came to inspect our electrical system and to install the new panel he arrived early and showed up at our door exactly when he said he would. His work was all very neatly done and it was very clear that he takes great pride in his work. Joe also cleaned up after the work was done and stuck to his quote. From the time we first contacted Joe to the time he arrived for first visit, installation and through to his followup call to ensure we were completely satisfied, Joe communicated via phone, email and text so that we were aware of how things were going and any changes to the plan. Joe also arranged for the electrical inspector to arrive on a day that was convenient for us. Thanks very much Joe! So when looking for an electrician to replace or fuse panel to breaker box. I had called three electricians and they all came out and gave me estimates. Joe was the only one to do all of his research making sure that all the rules and regulations would be followed, he ensured that the permit was in place and that the inspector would be imvolved, as well as arranging Hydro One to come and shut off the power to the house for disconnect and reconnect. Show was the only electrician to mention that our plumbing would need to be moved for safety. Joe was also the most reasonably priced quote we found Joe to be a very professional dedicated hardworking individual. Jose work was punctual and neat and tidy most importantly the mess afterwards was cleaned up by Joe himself. Anytime that I need any other electrical work done I'll be looking forward to working with Joe again.

Joe updated my panel and replaced baseboard heaters. His pricing was more than fair and he kept in touch to update me when the baseboard heaters arrived.He was on time, pleasant to work with and did an excellent job including responding to an issue I had with the old fuse box after he had finished work elsewhere for the day. He was very meticulous in his work insuring everything was as it should be. When the inspector came in, it passed with flying colors. He also took the extra and steps to protect our flooring by putting drop sheets down.The work was completed on time and his price was very reasonable. I bought a home a year ago and unfortunately to my surprise I needed electrical done. I contacted People’s Electrical Contracting who came in and did a home circuit evaluation. Explained to me in full what needed to be done to bring it up to code for switches plugins for kitchen, bathrooms and outside. People’s also got me to fully understand the proper way to switch my main electrical panel to the generator panel in a power outage. The best for me as a homeowner was the detailed circuit evaluation sheets where everything is itemized by number for plugins switches and lighting by number for corresponding numbered breaker. We arrived at our cottage after a storm to find a huge pine tree had been blown over and was resting precariouly across our cottage roof and hydro wires. People’s Electric was able to come out right away and carefully remove the fallen tree without snapping the wire or damaging the building! Once he had repaired and replaced outdated outdoor connections, Joe went out of his way to ensure Hydro got the power reconnected right away!

We were heading towards winter & due to waiting for Hydro assessment we were behind schedule...our meter Base was pulled away from our house & Hydro was preparing us for a worse case scenario....the original meter was uninstalled years ago. Thank goodness Hydro came on a Sunday but what was even better after calling 7 electrician's Joe was the only one that called us back(to date no one has ever called back) To our amazement he came the same day to access what was needed & then by the next Sunday his work was completed.. Great company and very helpful owner. I own a campground and we lost power in the middle of the night to a portion of our park. At 5am I called People's Electrical and Joe answered. He asked me a number of questions and helped me trouble shoot over the phone. Eventually he determined what the problem was and that it was a Hydro One issue, not an issue with our infrastructure (the transformer blew). He didn't charge me for his time which was probably 30+ mins at 5am. Joe is a good man running an honest business with a wealth of knowledge. I will 100% be a repeat customer, and you should be too!
