There are plenty of other electricians out there that won't charge an arm, leg and pelvis to come and do work like these guys will. They were here for 15 minutes tops, used no real materials and left a bill for just under $600. Don't make the same mistake I did, call someone else.

We called Townsend Electric Ltd. late yesterday May 26, 2020 to enquire if they would be able to electrically hook up our new dishwasher which required a new outlet mounted in a cupboard with extended wiring and installation of a new junction box in the floor to bring it up to code. Townsend made an appointment for mid morning. They called this morning at 8:00am and arrived at 8:15am. They were here for 45 minutes tops and completed the work. During that time they were professional, quiet, listened to our needs, performed the necessary work in a neat, tidy and timely matter while recognizing social distancing. They (Stephanie) took payment by e-transfer (even better). We wish all contracting companies were this respectful, knowledgeable and accommodating. We had Townsend come out to relocate and wire up 4 CNC machines for our shop. They were extremely quick, did a great job with the cable organization, and priced reasonably. We used the same industrial electrician for 20 years, needless to say Townsend is now our number 1 choice.
