Oneil came the same day we called to troubleshoot an electrical issue at my moms house. He quoted the fees over the phone right up front which made us feel immediately at ease. The job took many hours and was extremely complicated but Powersource was on it and managed to find and fix the problem in a calm and methodical manner. I honestly can’t say enough good things about Oneil and his team! Absolutely incredible! I bought a +100 year old home in Oshawa, and after doing an inspection, they got to work quickly to ensure that me and my home were safe. The house needed a little bit of everything done, including remediation of all power outlets (indoors and outdoors), a new outlet for the stove, basement lighting, and installation of ceiling fans. For my security, they install the ring doorbells on my front and back door, as well as a security camera and light on my side driveway. They also installed a hub with three switches so that I can control my lights through an app when I am not at home. The communication about what was needed and what was being done at each stage of the work was amazing! I am incredibly grateful for the amount of time and effort that they put into my home, and their attention to detail is amazing! I will be having them back soon for the relocation of my laundry, and absolutely 100% enthusiastically recommend them to anyone requiring an electrician!

My wife and I looked for over a week and a half for a trusted electrician. Along the way we were only disappointed, some made promises while others didn't even return our calls after we left voicemails. We were running out of time as interlocking work was to be completed in the back yard and we needed lights to accompany it. We got a referral from a close friend that pointed us to Oneil and Powersource Electric. The minute we spoke, you can tell ONeil was not only extremely professional but he was clear and concise about his plans and level of work he and his team would provide. After speaking for about 15 minutes where he educated us on the do's and don't to electrical and digging ( we are first time home owners) he assured us that he was more than capable of doing the work and he would be out the very NEXT day to access the area to be worked on. He not only followed through on his promise but he started working when he arrived on site. We were presented with a quote which we found very reasonable to the work he said needed to be done, and that Monday morning at 9AM he and another team member was hard at work. They dug, drilled, ran conduit and ran wires back to our electrical panel all while relocating a power source for our gazebo in the back yard. They also fixed a poor electrical job done by the previous homeowner in our shed. He could of left it as is but he always mentioned as a home owner "you want everything done to code". Which we totally agreed, and after seeing the difference from the previous job we saw why it was so important. We are extremely pleased with his work and work ethic and will use ONeil and Powersourse Electric for all electrical work in the future. They are professional, puntual and extremely knowledgeable. Oneil at Powersource Electric is the electrician to hire! Firstly, he provides a free quote which is a rare option with electricians. He came to the house to actually see what the work would be rather than an online quote which is never accurate. His rates were very reasonable. Oneil installed potlights in a living/dining room with no existing lights - perfectly straight, and perfectly spaced apart. He also installed a fan, a chandelier, a digital timer, and upgraded 2 plugs to GFCI. He was professional, polite, and cleaned up completely afterwards as if he was never there. I would definitely recommend Powersource Electric for all your electrical needs.

Oneil handled several things for us: ran a long power line (with only 1 small wall opening) & installed thermostat for heated bathroom floor & dealt with inspection; installed wall plugs & wire conduits for a wall-mounted tv; installed new bathroom fan; installed 2 wall sconce lights (no wall opening for line), and other various switch-replacement/issues. Previously called them in for a repair when electricity went out and couldn’t get it back on ourselves. ONeil came out and gave us a quote the morning after I contacted him. He was very polite and professional and the quote was very fair. He and his coworker came over and completed the job two days later. We had three new electrical plugs installed in our unfinished basement. They had to install wooden beams to attach the plugs to which we purchased ahead of time. He also repaired two broken electrical plugs in our kitchen. Lastly, he replaced a breaker on our electrical panel which we didn’t expect him to do. He had to run out to Home Depot to do that for us. He and his coworker wore masks the entire time and respected physical distancing. They also cleaned up afterwards by sweeping and taking all their garbage when they left. We are very happy with the job they did and would not hesitate to recommend them to our friends and family.

We called Oneil this morning at 8 a.m. and he arranged to arrive at 9:30. We had lost power in one bedroom and had been unable to determine the problem. We were very impressed with his professionalism. He did a thorough check and found the issue with a plug in a closet which he proceeded to immediately fix. He also installed a ceiling fan. He then proceeded to the check panel box and ensure all was well with the rest of the house. On top of this he was the nicest most genuine person you could ever meet. Powersource Electric Inc. replaced my electrical panel and added electrical outlets throughout the house. Oneil made all of the arrangements with ESA and was able to clearly explain exactly what was required to obtain the ESA Certificate of Inspection. The ESA inspector liked the job they did. Oneil was the first and only electrician to respond to my request for electrical work that was needed in my home while removing a load bearing wall in the dining room. Not only did Oneil move the light switch but he suggested putting 4 potlights on a dimmer around the main dining room fixture. This detail makes the room look spectacular.
