I hired JML Electric to install a Tesla wall charger and upgrade the service panel. The electricians arrived by 8:00am as promised, they were both very nice and removed their boots even though I told them they could keep them on. They cleaned everything up and took away all packaging materials and even swept the floor. They took the time to label the new service panel and show me how to use the wall charger. I highly recommend JML Electric, excellent job guys. Thanks!

What a rip off . The lady had mentioned a flat rate per hour. After a 45 minute job i received a massive bill. it included transportation and fuel charges, and a min 2 hr job charge which was conveniently never mentioned while booking. Downright highway robbery, would NEVER recommend this co to anyone

JML was one of three contractors we (my husband) looked at. They were the only ones who actually came out for the estimate vs sending pics and their estimate was in line with the others. Coming out to look was greatly appreciated. They did a great job on our Tesla charger that didn’t require putting holes all over our house. Had to order parts for our fuse box as it had older parts so they put in an interim charging solution until the parts arrived. Coordinated all the logistics with Oakville Hydro. Would recommend their services!

Caution! DO NOT USE this company for your Tesla charger or any other services, they invoice you $180 estimating A Quote without telling you there is a cost for them to do estimation. PLS tell your customer you charge the estimation before you come, not just sending this surprise invoice out of no where! I'd consider this is a very dishonest and unprofessional way to invoice customer. I'd give 0 star if there is a option. and I'm not gonna pay for this invoice to encourage this kind of unprofessional business behavior. I got my charger installed by other company due to the timing, they do the work during the weekend, so i don't need to take a day off from work. the job was professionally installed and certified.

Had I not sent them a message each time they would have never even acknowledged me. They need to improve their scheduling or customer service where they proactive advise customers of delays so you don't waste your day.

Terrible experience. We bought a new house and need to move our charger to the new house on time. To give enough preparation time, we booked an appointment with this company's Jodi Clark many days in advance. Jodi confirmed the appointment with Joe for the assessment with the exact date and time via email. We then arranged a visit with our broker and the current owners of the house. We also arrange work schedule ahead of time… But we didn't see anyone showing up on the day. We called Jodi's number and no one answer. We tried again after waiting a long time. Joe answered and told he was unaware of this appointment! He asked us to rebook another time without any apology. Obviously, this company doesn't value customers' time and money. We strongly suggest everyone to stay away from this company. They clearly do not appreciate your business and we don't believe they deserve it either.

I called around a whole bunch of places and even posted on Homestars looking for an electrician to install my Level 2 Chargepoint charger. Most places quoted around $1000, a few quoted well over $1500. I honestly only went with JML because they had an opening to install the next day. But I'm so glad I did. Other installers said they'd have to drill a hole through the back wall and bring the black cable all around to the front of the house, which is really ugly. The electrician (who's name I unfortunately forgot) decided to go through the ceiling of my finished basement (starting in the bedroom) and carefully fish the thick cable to where it needed to go. It took a bit of effort, but after 3 hours, the job was done and extremely clean. He labelled the panel using a label printer, and tidied up really well after himself. I was also impressed with the communication from Jodi, the Office Coordinator. She was quick to email, and also sent me the ESA certificate and all the forms needed to apply for the rebate. I was going to do that myself, but really nice of her to add that little touch. I've already recommended JML to my friends, but would gladly recommend them to anyone else that reads this.

I found JML on the Tesla website as a certified installer. I was slightly sceptical since they did the quote remotely (based on pictures and descriptions) but clearly they have done so many installations, they know exactly what they're doing. I felt their quote was fair, the electrician who came (Brendan) was excellent, they 100% knew what they were doing and the job was high quality, efficient, and exactly as I hoped. I would absolutely use them again for other electrical jobs.
