If you move out they will continue charging you for power until their technician can disconnect it. Because hey, we all know NS Power needs the money and they're so fair to customers. Ripping off Nova Scotians since 1972.

I don’t have that power for already 3days even whole tower road have it. 1119 building still not have it. What a efficiency

I live outside of Windsor, Nova Scotia and during the first blizzard of 2022 our power went out. It was restored in less than 5 hours and I just want to say how grateful I am to the workers who have to go out in terrible weather and work so that we can have our power. Kudos to you all!!!

Wouldn’t cooperate with a pop up drive-in movie event for the community. They left the lights on around the entire parking lot which made the drive-in screen difficult to see. Poor community involvement

I would like to give 0 stars but that is not an option. Over priced, terrible service. We lose power multiple times each year because wind/rain/sunshine. Basically anything can put this power service out.

I would give zero if google would have given an option. Absolutely terrible customer service they are not at all friendly just had a call with closing team member she was rude and talking loud at me, no one deserves this kind of service. Please keep your ego to yourself, I have self respect too, I had to hang the call. Coming to your IT systems: It's the worst thing, I never get the email of notification of the bill and you call the customers for the billing. Get your system corrected before you take actions. I see one star on google reviews so it's better you improve your customer service and your IT System straight!

I'd give a zero if I could. Terrible customer service, with no other options for power you are basically forced to provide deposits. We need to end the monopoly and bring in some alternatives in the energy sector in NS.

Top-dollar rates for bottom-dollar service.... not to mention, they use every little rainstorm to "justify" rate hikes. Their new "smart meter" was installed on my house and the technician did not do the proper paperwork. I was not being charged for power for a few months and had to call in to rectify the issue. This caused my equalized billing to get messed up as well. I see brand new "nova scotia power" vehicles driving around, I see a brand new offices and corporate buildings.... but I still see old, decrepit power poles and mass outages during moderate weather. *UPDATE* Since installing the "smart meter" my billing has been messed up and I keep getting notifications that I "missed 2 payments" despite being on equalized payments and never missing one.... this has been on-going for several weeks now. This despite assurances that it was "fixed" according to the customer service rep.
