What service... garbage like or mayor

Very little service provided from this company and high prices. Can't go into the building to change or add services, can't do it by phone and forced to do it online when not all people have access or knowledge of online applications and uploads. I wish there were other options but this is it.

Shut the hydro off for 5 hours to rental property with 10 units while its -5 degrees out with absolutely no care for peoples ability to breathe through the night or have heat or be able to cook. Shady crooked distributor. Doing this for multiple days under the guise of "improvements" while all they are doing is work for the private owners of the new casino. Notices said 4 hours meanwhile they fool around and work as slow as possible. Horrible inconsiderate company.

This hydro service was great in 2013. We had a late payment no big deal they knew we'd pay it soon. A lot has changed since than, even if you have just a small amount that is past due they over charge 30$ and they call you and threaten you that hydro will be cut off by this date. They don't negotiate a day when you have the cash. They want you in as early as possible, they don't care about your work schedule, your life. It's a very unethical company and I'm ashamed of them, because before I never had problems, even when I was on OW at that time they were great. Now I'm still low income, and family of 5. We don't have any social assistance, and we work our butts off to stay up with our bills. We are a respectable family with good morals. We don't drink, do drugs. We go to work, we have daycare, we rent and pay bills. All I'm asking from North Bay Hydro is a little compassion and understanding.

Staff was rude while working in my house, left gashes in the wall, and screws and metal shreds all over the basement floor. Complete disrespect for being in someone else's home. Pathetic.

I just phone North Bay Hydro to tell them about a power outage that occurred in my area and was practically interrogated by the person on the phone. I was outside when I heard a big bang louder than a shotgun going off and at that exact time the power went out. The only reason I called was to give them a heads up that they may need to make some repairs in the area because of the loud bang.

Always fast to respond to an issue, I have many rental properties and making changes is straight forward. not sure why there are so many disgruntled people making reviews
